I hear ya...and completely understand....grin something triggered my ADD and I can't seem to put brain to task to safe my life...LOL

Afternoon everyone! Well I am in the line of people who just can't seem to get their brain on task. My goodness I have flitted from one thing to another all day - end result I have accomplished nothing. I couldn't even sit still long enough to watch a DVD.

Betty I sure hope you can get rid of this bug. It seems to be taking its sweet time leaving you alone or has the original bug declared party time and invited all he/she knows to invade your body. Hope you are resting this afternoon!!!

Had a lovely visit with my friend yesterday but my goodness she was off with her French Onion soup. Her soup is usually to die for and for some reason that she can't even explain she put Balsamic Vinegar into the soup rather than wine. Yuck!!! The broth had a bitter aftertaste. I felt sorry for her, as she kept apologizing but as I said to her you tried something new and it didn't work. Besides I was there for the visit not the food. Her DH came home sick from work - it is only the fourth time in his 65 years he has taken sick time so I knew he was not feeling that great.

Initially Debbie I thought you were talking about Strong Hospital and I was wondering what the "h" had happened as it has always been an outstanding hospital or so our cottagers say. Glad Shannon is home - less chance that either of you will pick up a stray infection.

Crissy I bet you are enjoying every second of your new found freedom. Hope Dave isn't making life too difficult for you these days.

Its snowing here so Mary bring along a hat when we tosh off.

Oh Betty - I sure hope we don't get Sunday Thunderstorms passing through but it will take more than that to keep the Cajuns from a Crawfish Boil ! I ordered 2 sacks today.... Jean the best price was Tommy's Fishhouse in PRV... first time to get them from there... We'll have to add lots of Shrimp, Mushroom, Potatoes, Garlic, Onion, etc. to make it work for 15 ppl....

Marion & Jean thank you for the links and I definitely have never seen those coralbells plants before to my knowledge. I did drop by the nursery today to "look" and I'm interested in a lot of herbs this year.
I think I want to try making my own essential oils.... I have Eucalyptus and Rosemary but want to buy some Lavendar.

Dianne I totally forgot a hat... will have to borrow one... I'm Sorry ! Cold again today... like the sun comes out and I automatically think it's 80*. Your friend reminds me.... tried that French Dip recipe last Sunday ... it called for 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar... and the whole time it was cooking it tasted funny.

After 7 hours in the crockpot it finally tasted alright... I don't know if I should decrease the balsamic vinegar next time or just make sure I cook a long time... maybe it just takes that long. I do like the BV though.....

Crissy where are you working? Same place ? Judy I suppose wrestling season is over... what does Jake like to cook ?

Morning all,

Been sleeping off and on since I got home just after noon hour yesterday,now here I am wide awake...drats

Got a call from Judy last night, felt bad I had to cut it short..

Mary, I've several large plants of lavender, I bag some of it to put in my drawers, sometimes under my pillow, what a calming smell.

I got a message that Judy had called me too. I was so sorry not to have been home as we were only next door!!! Me - who never goes out when the weather is bad!!! The neighbor had a fall and asked us to help. I stayed with the wife while Norm took him to get stitched. Not really serious but needed to be done. I'll call Judy later today.
Woke up this morning to another 8 inches of snow and it is still falling. We are getting the storm that everyone got the beginning of the week. And I'm supposed to get my hair cut at noon. Don't think so=I'll need to reschedule....
