Having a coffee and thinking out my day. Might run into Midland at 3:00 and buy myself a nice bright top, cheer myself up..not sure what time supper is tonight. Reason I'm thinking more than just my boys will be there is that Suzanne never mentioned my birthday other than askingh me what I was up to..NOT her! She's the give away. Lol. So I'd best out an effort into looking better than I have these past few weeks.

Going to post office at 8:00am,,package waiting for me, hoping its the envelope LindaKay sent which has the template from Missouri quilts,mthat way I could start playing with the quilt I'm making for the wedding...would pass the day not that I could not find something else to keep me busy.

Betty - did you ever receive your round robin quilt? It was mailed to you Feb 19 and has not come back to me. I will give you the customs number in a dmail right now....

Betty, I just checked the DC# and it says it is till in the sorting faculty, so I doubt it is your package I mailed out.

Going to go clean and dust then will finish designing birds for 2 of the birdhouse blocks I'm working on.

Went through paper work early this morning and found my marriage certificate to Roger..as I have to go get sticker for the car I thought I'd get a few extra things done at same location. Remember all the hoopla with my I.D. having to go back into my maiden name...well at the time they said if I could find my marriage certificate they'd put it back to Pauze...let's hope it would involve Drivers Permit, Health Insurance Card ..would be nice to know who I am lol

I did get my results from the doctor Wednesday and I have been doing a lot of thinking and research and
overall disbelief type of things. I had to talk to a few people before I posted on here as a couple read
my posts. I think one of my girls has a subscription to DG and reads but doesn't post...not sure on that
but suspicious.

The good news is the EMG came out "low but within normal ranges' for muscle response and nerve conduction
on the right side. Normal on the left side. He thinks once this "problem" is fixed, function will return better.

Anyway. The doctor found something on the MRI that is "concerning". There is a "cyst" of sorts at the T6
level of the spine on the left side. It is between the aorta & the spinal column and measures 9(AP) X 33 (T) X 21 (CC)mm.
If you can explain that to me...your doing better than I am.

He has to do a CT Scan of the chest & the thoracic spine to get a better idea of exact positioning. He knows it is behind
my left breast area, but he cannot tell for certain if it my lung is involved (which really scares me) .along with the spine. He said he did
not feel comfortable speculating about it...because he honestly couldn't tell 100% much more. I do appreciate his honesty as he is one of the
best.

SO, back I go to Cleveland around week after next. My test is the 14th and we have an appointment first thing in the morning on
the 15th to see Dr. C and get results and a plan. Most likely it will involve surgery. My FIL is having surgery there the 13th so I am sure
we will have to go down a few days early for that.

I feel kind of numb, BUT now we know what to battle and it is more than I knew before going to Cleveland.

I am sorry I didn't tell you Wednesday, but I just had to decipher it all.

Just did upstairs floors, dusted..omg been throwing out things like crazy..Packard that I am. Will do all the mirror closet doors then head downstairs..dust then time to finish the birds, appliqué and if you think they are good enough to send out might hit post office tomorrow..don't like leaving the swaps for a bit because you never know what might come up.

Today, although not sunny but bright it is the first day that I've opened the front door (not the screen door) and let the light in..what a difference it makes. Can almost feel the change from winter to spring.

Off to search again for those braided placemats I've put somewhere but where?

Likely in a tote out in back shed..hate to make that trip. Lol

Debbie, frightening as it sounds, at least you have answers and the plan to get more definitive answers soon. Good on your doctor for not speculating....you need honest answers, not guesses. There are a variety of different cysts that can form in that area and the treatments vary accordingly..... Good thoughts to you....the upside is that you are going to have a course of treatment and all the answers you have been seeking soon.

Debbie - I agree with Jean - don't borrow trouble by worrying, but DO be prepared. I also agree that having your Dr speculate is not right, and only gives the "what is" worrying going.
The tumour could be benign, or malignant - no one knows until you get the results.

Tummy is just a churning can't even ohanthom how you must be feeling. I'm with the girls know you will not stop worrying but do not think the worse. Thankfully the doctor seems to be moving quickly, good sign, ordering what he feels necessary to give him a better idea of what is happening in that body of yours..you are so educated in the field of medicine based on all your experiences that I know you want to research as much as you can..know sometimes that is not a good thing..will put more frightful thoughts in your mind..Lord and doctors will have you well in no time.

Do you really think one of them has a subscription? Wouldn't they be listed in members?

Know our thoughts and especially our prayers are with you..

Betty - they may have a subscription, but Debbie would not necessarily know their online nickname.... If she suspects, AND they put in their details, she can open a person's subscription and see, but if they only Lurk, they may not put any details in.....

and it's a supplement that's needed by all of us in N. America, because the majority of us are deficient in Magnesium.

One thing about vitamins is to Never get multi-vitamins..... they put so little of each vitamin that it's useless.

Aunt Muriel just dropped in for a visit..when she left she said 'see you in a bit'. Lol
They think they are pulling the wool over my eyes but I kow better...charging batteries for camera just incase. Lol

good - there are so many vitamins we're deficient in, and it seems magnesium is the one we're deficient in most.........

Tony and I are hanging in over the news about maybe not owning the land. Damage would be in the thousands and we could manage it but it's a shock and one we didn't need.

My knee is still cracking when I stand up - I thought this was going to end after the surgery. And my left shoulder has been hurting. Dana says they are just going to have to shoot me.

I'm grumpy but otherwise fine. I have sunflowers blooming.

Like Debbie, we just have to wait tho it is much less stressful for us. I'd much rather be stressed about money than my health; there's just no comparison. So I'm grumpy but with gratitude. The lawyer said relax and don't give anyone else any money. We are waiting. Things tend to move slowly here and we are through the worst shock.

tony has to take his mother to the clinic tomorrow so I have a couple of days on my own. We are still having lots of wind but temps are a little better and the skies are clear and the view is great.

Nothing to do but wait.
