Late to this thread. Good luck with your surgery, rosemary.
Coffee Break # 93
so much for that headache excuse................
http://www.boston.com/lifestyle/health/2013/03/06/sex-may-cure-migraine-well-painkillers/7KQZkNp8408Djf2RhbGJMN/story.html
LOL
I actually already knew that...
but does your husband know?
Bill, may I speak to Cindy.......... Were you the author of that study?
LOL!!
Heehee
DIL is now out of surgery. It went well. Her surgeon suffered a torn ACL over the weekend and is getting around on crutches. That must have hurt, to stand for 4 hours.
Good luck!
i was not the author - (i have sent it to hank)
Thank you!
Happy things went well....big relief, Jan! As a migraine sufferer, sex is the last thing you would want...it's like having the worst bout of flu with pounding pain...having a baby was much less pain!
I agree, Marilyn! And Bill.....Hank has more headaches than I do. LOL. But,.......oh never mind. 😜
ROTFL
hehe
Yeah all the above and most of the time the headache only goes away for about three minutes or so then it come back...
well now you can tell him you have the cure! :)
One of my favorite ads was at a bus stop in Canada, it was a picture of a bottle of Tylenol with the caption "tonight honey"
Funny!
Ugh. MIL had to be brought to ER last night. The other foot is now red, swollen and very painful. The ordeal never ends.
tough situation
Oh, no....I'm sorry to hear that....that poor woman....she must be very depressed about the whole situation.
Sorry to change the mood here but I will only be a minute.
I need to rant about the Daves Garden survey. It is the creepiest and most annoying thing I have encountered.I have visited at least 10 websites of various things and each one pops a survey up so nI have top shut it in order to go on with my business.
I thought they paid a decent salary to market researchers to dothat stuff and leave the customers alone.
Thanks I feel better now.
You are welcome.
that hasn't hit here as yet. Hope they don't read that. snow still coming, but the road is clear. Hope that it calms down. Winds are still strong.
Victor, praying for your MIL.
DDIL had a rough night and is in a LOT of pain. They are trying different combinations of pain killers. IV morphine, Valium, flexer-something and oxycodone. May have to go to oral morphine stronger dose. She has been crying constantly and having spasms and pain shooting down her legs. May do an MRI this evening to see if there is a hematoma. They turned her to the other side a bit ago and she seems to be relaxing a bit. Please pray for some comfort for her and less pain. I feel helpless.
Thanks, Jan. doing the same for you and your DDIL. Probably Flexiril, a muscle relaxer.
Awful, Jan....pain shouldn't be so hard to control in a hospital.....sorry to say they didn't give my Mom enough meds, either.
so sorry to hear that.. prayers being sent now
Awe, thats horrible, will include both of your loved ones and you in my prayers.
Definitely adding your DIL to prayers Jan.
Victor adding your MIL again to, hoping for a better outcome for her.
We also enjoyed lunch in Fort Myers with Louise and Hank (DonnieBrook). Not posting much while my laptop is being fixed. Don't want to take too much time away from some one else's computer. Hope to see them and others here at Jan's swap in South Jersey. Our house can be an overnight stop for those who need to travel further north and would like a break to sleep.
We have a room available also and space in the yard if you want to camp..
Charles called a little bit ago and they took Royale down for an MRI. Yes, it was flexeril. Will keep you posted when I know something.
Results show a leak of spinal fluid which is causing pressure on all her nerves. Not a hematoma. No wonder the pain med cocktails were ineffective. Heading back in to surgery in the morning. Covering your continued prayers and concern.
