Congrats to your cousin's daughter, Victor
An inspiring story about little John Paul.
That's a great scholarship.....cannot believe the cost of a college education.......hope my grandkids study hard or are very athletic.....
That's great Victor
Whew I was wiped out yesterday went to eye doctor and all the scanning and lights gave me a migraine and then they dilated my pupils so the drive home was no fun and I was no use doing any paperwork I couldn't see, so I took a nap...geez never had that kind of reaction before, Now I have a pile of work. My accountant is driving me crazy, asking all these questions when she had reviewed everything in Dec, why didn't you ask questions then and I could have adjusted it back then?
Jen, I had an awful time 2 years ago after my eyes were dilated.....I, too, had never had that kind of problem. My appt. last fall was with a new doctor in the practice....I told her what happened & she knew the med that caused the problems....it's one they put in so your eye doesn't burn after the dilation med......she didn't use it, & I was perfectly fine....please, call the office & tell them what happened & see if they used that on you.
thanks for the info
with the storm coming I am on the verge of a migraine as well
One of my twins passed out after having his eyes dilated. Scary!!!
wow really??.. I had no idea
Something in the drops affected him. But, then he also has to be lying down when he has blood taken.
I probably should have my eyes checked. It's been a few years(read that as quite a few).
Playing volleyball tonight. Will be my last match cuz I'll be gone for a month. Will miss playoffs. The team we are playing tonight has several of my former students. One of them played on Rowan U team. Oh, yeah, we are TOAST!!! LOL.
good luck!!
Have fun, Jan! Hope you feel better, Jen.
Let's hope the air pressure lets all the headaches get better.
Tonight is the last night I'm allowed to take pain medications or drink any alcohol :( until Mid march. I'm having a day surgery in March intended to restore my smile because having the triplets caused a bad Bells Palsy 19 years ago. It is called a platysectomy. The surgeon severs the outside of the neck muscle.
wow best of luck to you
Whoa - good luck, Rose!
Good luck with that Rosemary!!
Hope you are feeling better Jen, I know how migraines can be.

Congrats Victor on your cousin's daughter!!
Good luck Rose!!!
Ditto Pixie! Good morning all!
Good morning Louise, how is the weather, if I dare ask?
Don't ask, Pixie....it's definitely not snowing! My stepson is loving Sarasota, even though his wife is still in a nursing home. He's been fishing, birding, enjoying that wonderful FL winter. Rosemary, best of luck with the surgery....will be nice to have your smile back.
Best of luck Rosemary!
Good luck with the surgery Rosemary
I my loopy-ness is gone but now I'm fighting a cold...every time I'm in a drs office...I really have to remember to take Airborne next time I go to 1
Praying for a successful surgery, Rosemary!
I think we definitely played up last night. First game was close unless they were just toying with us, but I don't think so. After losing the first two games we then just played around and mixed up the teams. Fun to have my 'students' set me up. Felt good!!
Nice to see the former students & to play some volleyball....sounds like you had a great time.
I was never good at Volleyball or any sport for that matter!
Beautiful day here, Celeste....sorry 😎. 😇
Marilyn, we plan to head up to the Sarasota area very soon to do our annual Selby Gardens visit. On Sunday our realtor is doing an open house, so we will get outta Dodge for the day, and it is supposed to be in the 60s, just perfect for a doggy day trip.
Jan, it is awesome that you still play vollyball, and I'm sure it was great fun to reconnect with your former students. Bravo
Amazingly, I didn't hurt myself this year either.
Have fun at Selby, DB.
Selby sounds just the thing! Enjoy yourselves.
ooohh JoAnn

Cool!
I always look forward to your posting of that map.
The last time I looked there were no dots.Yippeee.they are on their way.
Just went to a luncheon with an eighth grade class and paired up with a girl who likes to crochet. She is also a farm girl, likes biology and gardening. I showed her how to make a crocheted flower and she showed me how to make one out of duct tape. She had a duffle bag loaded with 29 different rolls of tape. A veritable cornucopia of duct tape. My grandy will be sooo proud of me cuz she is also a duct tape aficionado.
Finishing up laundry and getting my roots done tonight, then packing tomorrow morning so I can fly to Oregon. DDIL's surgery has been postponed two days because there are electrical problems in the OR.
No results yet from baby Thomas's tests. I had him this morning so his mommy could go to the gym. Gracious, he will be sooo big when I get back in a month! What a cutie pie he is!
