It was like that here too, a big menu, order whatever you want, just has to be within 3-4 hours of mealtime. Otherwise sandwiches, etc are always available. Glad to hear she is moving along!
Coffee Break # 93
Great news, Jan! It will be nice to all be together at home instead of splitting time between home and hospital. She will be in great hands!
these coasters look like a nice rainy day thing to do with kids

last time I has a 'menu' to cross off things for the next meal. the time before I had jello which tasted like soap.
Glad that she is on the mend.
When I was in the hospital after having my kids, you could order anything you wanted off the menu
Thanks, guys! What a difference a day makes!!! Drain removed, IV removed, shower taken, 2PT sessions then we walked the hall ourselves this evening.
Prayers are being asked again....Adam is in the hospital and not doing well. I don't believe he will be going home this time. The tumors are pressing on his CNS and causing a great deal of pain. He is now hooked up to a morphine pump and his parents have issued DNR orders and no more aggressive treatments. Please pray for mercy and relief of pain for this baby. He is not even 2 years old yet and has had to endure more than most of us will in our lifetimes. Thank you friends. :,(
will pray for poor Adam.. I have no words .. feel terrible
Oh dear boy, so much in a short lifetime. Pray for his parents as well who have to watch his troubles.
Of course.
Yes, exactly as you ask, prayers, Celeste. I was afraid to ask you how he's doing. I am also praying for the purity of love-- that you may all be blessed by the brightness of it, which he has borne so well, though he is but a little vessel.
Celeste, so sorry for what you all have to had endure, and that to come....
So good to hear how well your DDIL is doing Jan!! Will pray with a prayer group for the dear little boy and his family, Celeste.
prayers here celeste.
Glad she is doing so much better jan.
I'm so sorry, Pixie....prayers for your entire family.....
Jan good news for your DIL!
Celeste Adam hasn't left my heart of prayers in quite some time. Peace for all of you ((((♥))))
Always praying for Adam, I can't read the fb page without crying
Same here, Jen. So little to be enduring so much. Have been praying for his comfort level and peace. Difficult decisions. Hugs for you all.
prayers sent
too sweet!!
So many conflicting feelings here for all. Happy for Jan's DDIL, very touched to read Ronnie's note from her Sophia, and heartbroken for little Adam's family. If there ever was a little saint, it is certainly Baby Adam. Praying for everything he needs and much comfort for his parents and family, including Celeste who has borne too much pain recently.
I was fighting back tears thinking of Adam and family today at work.. way too much sadness .. Celeste I really wish we were closer
Adam and my note from Sophie made me feel so overly blessed today. We all have our burdens to bear but some are so much heavier than others...Celeste if I could help with yours I truly would ((((♥))))
Very sweet, Ronnie! Dear Celeste, hugs and prayers
Thank you all, my heart just breaks for this little family. They have a great support system and lil Adams Mom & Dad are great advocates for him. They have the last leg of the journey before them and this will be the hardest thing these two young parents will ever face. I'm praying for mercy for Adam and strength for his parents.
Jan im really glad your DDIL is doing so much better, thats some happy news and I needed it. :)
Ronnie, how sweet and how blessed are you to get such a special note!!! I'd keep that for ever.
Prayers for all.
You may have heard about a truck that crashed into a house last night on LI, hitting the gas line and causing a huge fire. It was WC's neighbor! Luckily no one was seriously hurt. Must have sounded like a bomb. Scary.
Ronnie, very sweet grandchild you have.....the note is a keeper......Victor, that sounds scary....could have been a disaster. I agree, Allison....wish we were up in Maine to give whatever help we could......sad, sad times.
and what are the chances that we would know the neighbor...what a small world!
Where is everybody???
Hey, just wanted to let everyone know I'm back online. Don't have time right now to catch up or write much. I was without my computer for 2 weeks due to my hard drive nearly crashing. Had a new one installled, and everything's hunky dorey right now. I didn't get it set up for about a week after I got it. Was using my phone for getting online. Then I didn't get on here till now. Sorry I've been gone so long. I've missed you guys. I will get on Thursday night and start reading what I've missed. Getting ready for spring cleanup. Already started over a week ago. Last week was a washout with all the snow. It's all gone now. Yay!
Karen
Hi!!!
Victor, was WC's house affected? I'm so relieved he wasn't injured or worse.
Glad you got your computer back, nuts
Scary stuff, Victor
DDIL is going home today. Yay!! Now the work begins!
Still some snow left in spots. Up to 47°. 3 houses taken down on Plum Island. there used to be over 300 ft of beach, now the ocean is destroying porches & basements.
How long are you staying out there, Jan?
Going to the Sussex Garden Show with Jessica (Gardadore..DG name) tomorrow. Should be fun.
