It's not whining, Marilyn. Hospitals are supposed to have standards. So sorry your mother didn't get the best of care then, and I hope they do better now.

hope your mom is doing better at home marilyn - sometimes hospital workers can become numb caring for patients, my wife constantly reminds her nurses and cna's that the residents come first.

Definitely not whining!! Dignity first. Kudos to your dear wife, wha as she reminds her staff of that. Hugs to you, dear RD.

Bill, I am not surprised at Cindy. She is perfect for being in her capacity because she is such a kind and and caring person. I mean, who else would be so patient to have her truck loaded down with boulders every time she turns around. And speaking of that....how are things in the woods surrounding our house? 😜

I agree, Louise....Cindy is a caring person....I'm sure nurses get burned out, it's a very tough job....anyway, Mom is much calmer, the PT said she should be up & walking on a walker in a week or so....even if she can just get out of bed she'll be happier!

Had a new addition to the family on 1/29 - oldest daughter gave birth to Arianna.

congrats back at ya - #1 was Julianna now Arianna, i told her that they are going to be the anna sisters from here on out. not sure she likes that too much.
