Wow - the videos of the Russian meteor are nuts!! Lots of injuries from flying glass caused by the sonic booms.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

I was just reading about that!

Thomaston, CT

Russia seems to be a meteor magnet.....

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

My car is a Saturn because there was no negotiating when you bought a car, and it was American made. Being a woman by myself - trying to buy a car is a nightmare! Trying to be bad cop and good cop just makes me look schiphrenic

One time when I went car shopping the salesman wanted to show me all the little amenities inside the car and didn't even say anything about the engine or the warranty. Guess women don't need to worry about little things like icky motors.

My last two cars I bought new because of the problems with buying a used car. The Dodge Omni I sold with 135k miles on it and it was still running 3 years later when I got sued over an accident it had had in California. This car needs tires and I thought the last set would be the last but it runs really well. and thanks to a plastic body - doesn't look to bad after all these years. I would buy another Saturn - if they still made them.

And a small asteroid will pass within 17K miles of earth this afternoon. That is closer than many of our satellites.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

That would be funny Memory if you tried good cop bad cop with yourself, they may give you a great deal just to get you out of the dealership, LOL

It was the catalytic converter

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

if you like saturn - buy a GM they where the company behind saturn.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Yankee-cat! I bit the bullet in 2004 and bought a Honda because they have such a great repair record. That would be none besides the regular maintenance and oilchange.I still have it,in the long view I saved or broke even because it has never broken down.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

Honda or Toyota is a good choice - even Nissan.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Love Honda.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

I was wondering how you liked it Victor. How bout the all-wheel drive? Whadya think?

Bill I like all 3 and i'll add Ford 150 truck or bigger.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Love the CRV. It has all wheel drive.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Had a Nissan once, what a piece of crap!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

My Nissan Sentra was great.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

YUP I have a CRV and love it altho I dont drive as much as I used to so the '04 only has less than 40,000.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

how long ago was that?

wife has a first year in production Exterra and we have had no real problems - keep telling her she can get a new one after 250K miles

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

The new ones have more get-up-and-go. ^_^

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Yes, very zippy.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

All wheel drive or 4 wheel drive...i'll never go with out EVER again.

Lexington, MA(Zone 6a)

I have a 2012 CRV with over 25,000 miles already--I drive a ton for work. I highly recommend it in every way. My other car is a 2009 Pilot so it can pull a trailer. Love the seat designs.

Thomaston, CT

So far, I'm liking my Ford Expedition....handles very well in the snow, has a great low gear I need on my hill....gas mileage, not good, but since I don't commute, I can afford it.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Mine is also a '12 CRV.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

Randy's nissian maxima .. has almost 200 G and it still runs

S of Lake Ontario, NY(Zone 6a)

I've had 3 brand new Hondas, 170-200,000 miles on 2, sold each for $2-3,000. Third one is 3 years old and no trouble at all.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Yeah, this is my fourth or fifth Honda. Wife has had three.

Southwest , NH(Zone 5b)

One warning about all-wheel drive....if you have a problem wirh one tire, you have to replace all 4, and you have to rotate and balance the tires very frequently. Expensive. I won't get it again. They don't mention that until you have already bought it.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Bill,my "04 CRV is sitting in the garage now with an odometer reading less than 45,000.
I only drive 2 or 3 days a week.Since '07.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Okay - what's a turntable????

East Bridgewater, MA
