Really, Victor??? It plays vinyl discs (records, LPs).
Coffee Break # 92
Yanke cat!! which Dylan do you have? I loved the songs from the 70's Blood on the Tracks especially.
Dylan's "Lay, Lady, Lay" had a very large group of teenagers "sighing" in the 1970's.
(Let the record show: no physical contact was on the menu !)
Just kidding, Mem. Not that young, unfortunately. ^_^ I miss the artwork that LPs had.
You mean "...the other mourning..."?
Lovely dove-y.
Wow - now that's getting your $$ worth!
Bill I was wondering bout that pic!! Love foxes, great shots!
me too!
Yes, they are pretty. I was wondering about the dove too. Looked peaceful enough...
There is a pairs of doves here. They have begun to give each other "those"looks
I didn't see the bulb yet.. my Mom still has 2 8 track players.. and 3 turntables
Memory, you have brought back memories! There were 4 of us to a dorm room....we would stack our records....Dylan, Beetles, Joan Baez....that's how we'd fall asleep every night....loved the fox photos....
450K miles - Woo Hoo! Now that's what I am talking about! Now I am inspired to put at least 2 new tires on the Saturn.
The Dylan album is Freewheelin'. For me, some of the appeal of the Lay, Lady Lay song was the big brass bed!
I had 3 great albums and tapes for drivin in my Ford van to do Craft Festivals in the 80's.
Blood on the Tracks
Time out of Mind
and a collection of his greatest I think.
Just bought a record washer and a carbon fiber brush to take care of my vinyls. I really do have an amazing Jazz collection and I better take care of it.
the NH chronicle just has a show on a guy who refurbs old turntables - he has a bustling business and gets turntables shipped from all over the world to repair - one comment he made was that the materials used to build them is so solid compared to todays products it is easy to get them to good as new quality.
there are several pair of doves here - very nice to hear them cooing in the trees - it is killer....................
OHHHH Yessssss doves. It wont be long now befor the Wrens are driving us nuts.
Also the old truntables are analog and the new ones are digital. I found at least 3 places on the East Coast what specialized in old truntables. Something is still not right with it but if I turn it off and on and push the cueing button - it works again.
Is anyone on Pinterest? I really don't get it....I went on to see if I could get some more fairy garden ideas, but I only find pictures no info, then have to click thru about 5 links to find the original pic and who it actually belongs to and what website...then I can finally get some info.. seems obnoxious to me
Never appealed to me. Just way too many social media things. Not into Google Plus either.
I didnt stay interested in Pinterest either.
Victor is right,I feel the same and am only on 2 garden websites and FaceBook.
I look at it once in awhile, I can't pin on my iPad, and have to click 3 times for the details, but have found some ideas on there. I didn't join so i bet it's different if you do.
ooohhh Randy!!!... maybe we can downsize it!!!

Pretty!! I'd run that all year long! LOL
That's what I was thinking.....would look cool for 4th of July.
I didn't like anything about Pinterest, same with twitter.
tomato cage may work
I agree about Twitter and Pinterest....not worth the bother. Still holding out about FaceBook, but may have to do it despite my professional awareness of how it is so useful to pedaphiles. Distrust it completely.
not on any of those - never heard of pinterest
Strongly disagree about Twitter, Louise. For me, WAY more useful than any of the others. Have never been big on FB. 95% of it, at least, is total nonsense. I don't care if a FB 'friend' is having problems with her husband, or if one just checked into a bakery, or if another made the dungeon level or another can't sleep! Would you want one of them to call you and tell you this?!!
Twitter, on the other hand, gives you ONLY what you want to see. And, more importantly, keeps it short and sweet!
I have so many limits on FB it's hardly worth keeping it.
WAY too invasive and I am not that neurotic and insecure.
Victor don't you mean "short and tweet"!
Very good!
Yeah, on FB I have to block so many people that it hardly pays. I am more into the 'liked' pages than the 'friends'.
