#Sweet Interruptions# 253
Good morning all,
Thank you dear Jaye for sending me a surprise. More fabric for my bags and a wonderful tee and a bit of $ for the batting. You are a wonderful sistah and I love you dearly.
How is Dylan doing Linda?
sending prayers and healing energy to Dylan and the family. Speedy recovery little guy.
Jaye that is my problem around here. Food is not that good. Being from out west the food culture is so different.

linda, praying for dylan. hope he gets better quick. what is c-dick?
C-diff, is a bacterial infection, that is very contagious. It really messes with your tummy, vomiting, diarrhea...
The bacterium, also known as C. difficile or C. diff, can cause an infection with symptoms ranging from diarrhea to life-threatening inflammation of the colon. It is the most common cause of diarrhea in hospitals and is linked to 14,000 U.S. deaths each year.

Dylan is still in the hospital, and they finally got him a room and crib to sleep in last night. They moved them about 10:30 last night from the ER cubicle to a room! They should find out today if he is clear to go home or has to stay another day.
Dylan is not feeling well this morning, he is refusing to take his bottle, so they have placed the IV in his little arm for nourishment and meds. They are waiting on the Dr. to come in and do more lab work, to determine if he stays or goes home.

Valentine card and seed swap, come and check it out!
Sending loving prayers for Dylan this afternoon and for his parents and grands too. It has to be so nerve wracking for you all. My daughter was hospitalized at 10 months with pneumonia and I nearly went crazy with worry.
Thanks Barb.
I'm back and bad news have already determined what the rest of my evening is gonna be.
Remember Margaret, my old friend from Louisiana whose husband contracted MRSA? Well, hardly a month home, and the Lord brought Roland to his eternal home.
Perhaps I should instead thank the Lord that He knew what needed to be done, and Margaret with her own illness won't be able to take care of Roland.
Moreover, their two children are already in dysfunctional relationships, and maybe they needed this to wake them up.
LK, I am so feeling your pain sistah. We will pray ceaselessly for Dylan, won't we sistahs?
Barb, you're an angel to so many kids! God smiles down on earthly angels like you, and may He bless you and Norm for this big undertaking.
Sue, my sistah. When Cookie brought us to Jungle Jim, I was in heaven!! A place like that is a 4 hour drive, one way for me.
So please sistah, stick to healthy eating even if it means going often to stock up. You're not too far away from JJ right?
Think I'll brush off this sad thoughts, and do a Betty. Dance an imaginary dance in my head! Nooo.. might scare off a few braincells!!
So sorry to hear about your friend Roland Jaye! Sending prayers of comfort for the family!
I'm sorry too for you sad news. I'll keep Margaret in my prayers.
Oh Sue, that is cold!
Hey Ladies!!!!
Stacey had her baby yesterday she posted on FB!!!!!
Yah, saw that too, Cindy!
The family's complete now, unless Stacey decide she needs a dozen!
I feel for you Sue. I don't like cold and I don't like bulky clothes.
May today you're able to stay indoors more.
Thanks Sistahs for your prayers for Margaret. My ex will be attending Roland's funeral, and ex and her DH were 'tight'.
I need to share this feel good story.
When Roland was getting ill, from an illness, before he contracted MRSA, the medical expenses almost drove them to the poor house. They were contemplating to sell their home and move into a rental, but Roland's sister who is a doctor in New Orleans, stepped in.
Not only did she bought a home for them to be closer to the treatments, but let Margaret and Roland keep the old home, to draw an extra income from rental.
All in the name of love. I had met Roland's sister when she's still in med school, and Roland is the only one in the family that accepted her different lifestyle. Guess God did reward his unconditional love for family.
Hugs Linda.. hoping today will bring you some good news on Dylan.
Talking to Andy now, and it is a good possibility that they will get to go home later this afternoon! ^_^
Oh that is good news LK, I have been praying and praying for him....................
Fantastic news LK !!!
Dancing in my chair LK!!! PTL!!!
hooray for Dylan .

i was so busy today i forgot to eat ! and grabbed a whopper at Burger King oh gosh i ate the whole thing and i feel sick. oh boy do feel sick.... Lucy keeps tryng to smell my breathe ! oh for heavens sake dog.
Give Lucy that whopper, she won't be constipated for long!
Lolol LK!!!
^_^
Fantastic news LK!!!!!
Sue, don't push it! You got one back. LK, tell that sistah about yours maybe she'd listen, not to aggravate it too much.
Talking about back, I have rested more when it starts giving me problems. All the stretching exercises just aggravate it. For now, I didn't have to see a chiropractor.
A beautiful Saturday morning.
Last night, daddy forgot to let Hambone in the workshop. It came down to 21.
Though he had shelter, I was too worried, and parted with a quilt for him. Don't worry sistahs, that 'handmade' quilt is a WM Chinese quilt!
Think I'll go to the thrift store and try to find some old quilts for the cats outside.
Sue, will you prepare any thing special for the Superbowl tomorrow?
It's still Ravens for us.
Talking about quilts, I have a dozen quilt tops coming to me soon. A friend called and said she found 12 tops in a thrift shop, for $5.00 a top, when she went to pay for them, she said I could have them all for $50.00. I can't wait to get them. Hoping to make quilts for some elderly here in the nursing homes. She said they all looked really nice, all cotton fabric.
Jaye, your a sweet heart for giving him that quilt. Can it be washed?
Nothing special for the game here either. I want to see the puppy bowl!
It's his now, LK. He's dragging it around today and growl at any cats that want to check it out!
Been having that since I moved here, and you know the quality of Chinese quilts. The seams are incredibly narrow.
God is helping you out there LK! Let me know if I can help with batting?
My LQS guild has about 30 members, and they donated 200 quilts to Myrtle Beach and Conway hospitals. Imagine that?
There's this couple who assembled the quilts on their long arm machines. The guild provide backing and batting, and this awesome couple do them for free!! God rewards people like you and them!
I might seek this couple to finish my UFOs, of course, I'll pay them.
Someone said in the sent thread, to check with the funeral homes. Some of the caskets come wrapped on batting, if that is true, I will be asking for it before they throw it away.
Good idea there! Hope you get them!
I said that about the caskets and batting. I have checked with locals here in Othello and now they are just plastic wrapped. I have not checked the bigger towns. I'm afraid that will be true everywhere now, darn it! LOL, some free batting to tear apart back when we were making those bears to donate was GREAT money saver. Guess we'll have to put thinking caps on and think of another source.
I will let you know what I find out here.
Thanks Linda.
Morning everyone, hot coffee, crisp bacon, and french toast!
