drats, girls got 6 boxes of fabric from a friend..all decided to come today and sew, learn about their machines, Pat is such a good teacher..I called to see what they are up to??? what, they are going through the boxes picking fabrics..sure hope I was there

Betty, we have a Hobby Lobby in town and I could check there for the fabric if you wish. Only about 15 minute drive from the house..thank goodness for interstates that avoid the busy parts.

Looks really nasty here today..dark and windy. We are suppose to have an edge of that weather move into tonight.

Just received an email from Kim and she needs a cake box for an order. Mostly likely will be going to Hobby Lobby tonight Betty so let me know, please.

Went to the little Fabric shop downtown on my lunch..Ann needed one of those magnetic width guages, and I needed some browns for baskets..never have time to just look for awhile, perhaps one Saturday I'll make a special trip, anyway, eye scanned the fabric, had similar but not the same.

Went shopping on my lunch, managed to find the lovelies shawl type cover, almost looks like a jacket of sorts and a lovely matching scarf..wouldn't mind a similar set!

Sure hoping that Suzanne likes it when I give it to her for her birthday tomorrow

It's 52 out there, hard to believe they are calling for snow squalls and winds of up to 70kl..just incase though, switched telephones to here..wouldn't it be nice to have a snowday tomorrow?

For the past month I have been unable to see any of the pictures that you post. I click on them and they give me the place for the picture and the wording but no picture. Don't know what the problem is but I miss seeing all the neat things you all post.
It has been very hectic here. Stacey went into the hospital at 3:00 am Sunday morning with contractions. They set C-Section for Sunday am, them Sunday pm, then Monday am and then not at all. They have had her on blood thinners and are concerned about the C-Section and having her bleed to much. Ultrasound on the baby showers she is just fine and now up to 8 lbs! even if this is only 36 weeks. They sent the kids home on Tuesday night but she is still having contractions, her hands are swollen so badly she can't close her hands of even use utensils, and she is generally feeling rotten. They go back to the doctors tomorrow and they have tentatively scheduled the C-Section for next Wednesday. I hope she doesn't have to wait that long with all the other problems. I feel so sorry for her but none of us can do a thing.
On top of it all Chris is still out of work, which now is a good thing since it means he has been taking care of the house and Jonathan. My DIL in Findlay has Jonathan now and will keep him until we see what happens with the new baby. He is on COBRA not (for big $) and yet some of the meds they have her on are not covered so he had to pay full price. He does have an interview for a job on Saturday but we will see if he makes it or not with the baby trying to come.
It seems as if we are all like the weather...60 F. today and 29F tomorrow. All having troubles that get us down but we just keep going.
Thank you to those who sent shower gifts to Stacey. If this little girl keeps growing we will have to put her in 3-6 month right from birth! I'll keep you all updated.

How overwhelming it must be for both of them..sending prayers that the job interview on Saturday will pan out. Sure hope Stacey decides no more children..this sure has been hard on her.

Asking for prayers for Dylan please. They took him to the ER yesterday, as he has a tummy bug, so they thought, come to find out he has what the are calling c-diff.
It can be a serious problem if not taken care of. They spent the night in the little cubicle in the ER, and will do so again tonight. They can't put them in a regular room and take chances to infect the other kids, so they have to stay secluded in the ER cubicle. No one is getting much sleep. They are praying for a private room to open.

Poor baby, Linda Kay. Good thoughts and prayers for Dylan and his parents. It is so easy to contract and so hard to get rid of. Hope he responds quickly to the treatments.

Oh Lordy LindaKay, you all must be so worried..he's such a little tyke to have such a serious illness..do they know where he could have gotten this? Meant to ask how your dad is doing..

As for the fabric out it goes tomorrow unless I'm lucky enough to have a snow storm

We have been long scheduled for a Project this week and next called "NBO" which is extremely intense....a company from out of town comes in and we are incarcerated for 2 weeks ....
Meanwhile the managers are still trying to put pressure on us for their packages... I had been really focused and excelling on the "NBO" and managers pressuring us to sell Superbowl.... lo and behold I sold 3 Superbowl items... so When we rounded up for the NBO pep rally today at noon.... I mentioned I had not done as well that round due to selling Superbowl....
My manager piped up... "that shouldn't take much was JUST a phone call !" (WAS NOT ! I spend 1/2 hour on a conference call, then meetings, finding a commercial, etc etc. ). I actually mumbled "no... it was NOT just a phone call". So many people came up and apologized to me and then HER BOSS tells me not to mention "regular" packages....with the out of town company. She seemed apologetic. They knew I was mad.

Well that is my vent. Seems too wrong to vent to you guys when I have not posted in so many days....

Judy (HUGS) yes my Judy / Debbie plus Tough Love with DS, out of work for a month...I came down hard on him last 2 days and he calls me tonight to tell me he got a job, starts Friday.

Whew ! After all that madness you'll be wishing you had not called me out of "LURK COUNTRY" LOL !

But know ladies... you are all my ROCK... and when times are tough I do lurk to keep in touch because although it is good times and bad times and daily things.. this is a place that comforts me and for that....

C-diff is very very transmittable. Especially to kids in playgroups. Think "large diaper areas". And if a child has been sick lately (cold) their immunities are
down. Even surfaces (changing tables, shopping carts) can transmit the germ to the little ones. So so hard for little ones that size to think of hand washing.

LindaKay meant to say niece'iPad said differently..she had a heart attack when she was in her 40..she and hubby bought a house last week, much smaller than the monstrosity they had, easier to maintain and wanted to downsize, guess the stress of that and the selling of her home was too much..

wanted to add, winds are just a howling, no snow though so its a work day for me..wearing a not so happy face!

Suzanne just called, she is starting out, with all melting she is looking for black ice, I will hold off for 10-15 minutes to get her road report..not anxious to head out.
