Just a heads up here.If you get a phone call from someone saying they are from Microsoft, and that you have a virus that is tracking you back account......... HANG UP!!!!! it is a scammer trying to get you to log on to you pc and let them into your pc.
Doug called Microsoft and asked, they said the only time they call you is if you called them first. 888-1222 is tech support for Microsoft

Ladies, please include prayers for a special lady, Dorothy (LaVonne on Cubits).
Her sister Marti ("Marti001" I think on DG) had been letting LK know about Dorothy's renal failure.
Please pray that the dialysis will work for her. We have grown to love this incredible lady who is always there for Marti.

Anything else you've read LK, please post it here too. She needs all the prayer warriors on her side.

had a nice time with a friend of mine. Her husband is muslim from africa and the baby is soooooooooo cute !!! i can't get enough smooches on the chunky baby girl. OH but Lawdy Lawdy Lawdy this girl is a crazy mess . She puts herself in such crazy situations. She is married and still talking with men on FB ! well its nothing but trouble coming to town. IHMO she is young . this old gal can only give so much advice on wisdom. :) LOL
but she is a nice woman and i do like hanging out with her.

Update from Marti.

Up date! We got over to the hospital to visit and they showed us out as they were getting ready to interbate her. She is not breathing well at all and she told them they could put a tube down, but now she is fighting the tube so I don't know what will happen.

is she fighting the tube unconsciously?! Cuz if she really wants it, but it hurts, that may be what's happening....... My prayers are with them.......

Prayers continue for everyone here and sometimes my prayers are selfish.. as for Dorothy. But God knows best, and He will take care of her.
Just knew her through the other site, and became another well loved sistah.
I can only imagine the anguish going through her family.

Going back to bed... erratic sleep last night.
Coffee is ready for all.
AC is turned on.. yup.. a very warm morning. Hope the world is right for all today.

got some st patrick day decorations for her garden , she loved Irish anything. Her dad side is Irish.
got some pretty christmas stuff too at 90% off !!! wooohooooo.
also got some spring decorations for the garden too. went a bit crazy LOL

Anytime anything is 90% off, that means more $$ in your pocket, right? Not for me.. it means more for fabrics :D

Meant to say, while in Florida I bought a purse, salesman said to pick up a pair of sunglasses as a bonus..picked a pair and wasn't until later that I noticed on each arm were the letters in silver 'DG'

Of course, Christmas will be 11 months from now.. it makes sense for you to start now. LOL!

LK just reported in the other building that she's in grave condition.

LK, I brought it over what Marti reported to you.

Well, we had to make a decision. LaVonne's 3 daughters and I have signed a No CPR order on her. If there is no improvement by Sunday we will discuss the idea of unplugging her from the machines. Right now without the Vent machine breathing for her and drugs to keep her heart beating and blood pressure up, she flat lines. The Dr is trying something else and wants us to wait until Sunday to make the decision to turn off the machines. But he agrees that if her heart stops we should not do CPR.

Praying the Lord gives them peace and comfort, if Dorothy is meant to return home early..

Was on threads with her before the new room.

difficult decision to make, made it before and you are always wondering if you've made the correct decision.

I've said it before......... my heart is the only part of me that has the appropriate words.......
I've had many conversations with Lavonne/Dorothy...... such a lovely lady.........

I keep telling myself that it is His will and that He knows what is best for our Dorothy. I'm so very sad with this turn of events but I'll be grateful if this means no more suffering for her. God bless you dear friend......

Dad made it through surgery, he is still in recovery, but everything went fine!

You are right Barb.
When I was young, I fought with my mother's decision to turn down surgery, as she said, grandma wouldn't want to end her days in pain.
Now, I understand.
