Kim is back to work and truthfully, I think she was ready to do so. She starts getting "antsy" after a while. I am really going to miss her as she took a thousand steps for me so I could rest this knee. It is doing better but still not healed or to the point it doesn't hurt. Just doing things slowly and doing what I can.

Hope everyone has a great day. I am going to start cleaning up the decorations from Christmas.......notice the word "start".

Marion, take it easy on that knee. If your not using a cane, try to keep it wrapped with an ace bandage, or some sort of brace to help keep it stabilized.

I talked with Dad on Google talk last night, he looked really tired. The pain in his toe from the sore is almost unbearable. He is on Vicodin but it is not touching the pain. He is looking forward to surgery on Friday, and we are all praying the new artery will help heal things up. I don't know if my Sister has told him how dangerous the surgery is for him, but we are all praying he will stay strong, and make it through surgery.

I will not travel home to see him, even if things go wrong, I said my good byes to dad when I was home a few months ago. I would like to remember him as he was when I saw him.
My Sister and us kids have been going in circles about Dads last wishes. Dad has always said he wishes to be cremated, then placed in the ground next to Mom at the cemetery. My Sister does not believe in cremation, and she wants to have a regular funeral for him. All of us kids have told her that if he does not accept his wishes, then she can bury him by herself, as we will not be there, nor support with money! I know this sounds cold, but it is what I feel is right.

LK can so relate to what you are dealing with now regarding your dads wishes. I got tons of grief from my step MIL because Ross was cremated. My mom was also upset but it was what he wanted so it was done. Thankfully both children knew so were very supportive of the decision.

Jaye, if you were here we both would be in trouble......well maybe not! We could sit and sew!!!!!!!!!

LK, no cane, no brace but am using the ice packs. I have 2 flights of stairs and the doc said they would be more trouble than good. Go figure. I do limit the number of trips up and down though.

Just make sure there are no more whoop de doo's on those steps!

I've told Kel I wished to be cremated as I won't need my old body when I get to Heaven. Jesus had guaranteed us a whole and perfect new body there!
As for the ashes, he'd be inheriting it!

Marion, you might have to invest in one of those stair lifts. Your kids could give you that as your birthday and Christmas.

Good Afternoon Ladies,

Had a good time with my GFs. Our dinner get togethers are always a LAUGHING blast. There is one gal, it never fails she's got to start talking about sex or men's you know what. But anyway the things she comes up with OMG!!!! We got to laughing so hard I thought Sheri was going to pass out, and Jenny and I had tears running, lol.

Saturday afternoon Sheri was gone and I was laying down cuz my thumb got to hurting real bad. She had texted me and ask me to check turkey to see if it was still good to make soup. She has hardwood floors, and has this runner in the hall way. As I came out of the bedroom I stepped on the runner and it slipped with me and down I went!!! I didn't have my splint on my hand, and I landed on my left side, but never hit my hand, THANK the LORD!!! but I did hit my right foot and elbow into corner of wall. All I ended up with is a tiny bruise on my elbow. But boy it sure knocked the wind out of me, lol. Sheri's dog stood there looking at me like "Why are you laying on the floor"? lol

Finally got hearing aid insurance straightened out...$150 per ear not $340 whoo hooo. So now I have to fax hearing test and they will make one to fit my hearing loss which is severe.

Also will be getting CapTel800 phone on Wed, yay. So as soon as I get the number I will send it to you gals and you can call me, will be nice to talk with you all sometime.

Sheri is having surgery done tomorrow to remove scar tissue and realine her jaw. So I am going up Wed (after phone guy leaves) and staying with her until her boyfriend arrives on Friday. She has to stay laid down for 5 days. Gonna take LOTS of warm clothes her big ole house is like an ice box, brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

It's called a CapTel800, I will have to give you the 1 800-# to call, then you will tell them my # 743-1606 (write this down, lol) then you talk on your phone as you do ppl with good hearing and the automated thingie sends text to my phone then I talk right back to you. Don't know how it will work when I want to call out, hmmmmm they didn't tell me that part, lol. Oh well I'll find out Wed.

Sounds like tou will be able to talk on the phone again! Can't wait to give it a try.

Yes people calling me have to call the toll free captioning serving, then enter my number in order for me to receive caption on my end. If they don't dial the toll free number I won't get the closed caption.

LK I have been meaning to tell you............keep bugging those companies about the Monster High doll

Not only did Mattel send me a voucher, but the company I orderd the doll thru is sending me another one without me having to send this one back.
I had sent them a message asking for a return authorization number, I got an email back saying

I could send this one back for credit, then order a new one at a higher price but they would give me $2.70 off and a 10% discount. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR I told them "NO, I just want to exchange this one!!!!" Then told them how this was at the top of my grand daughter's Christmas list and how disappointed she was when she opened the box. So yesterday I got a phone call from meijer.com (company I ordered thru) and they are sending another doll with EVERYTHING in the package (said they checked to make sure) and I would be getting it in 4 -7 days

So see you just have to keep bugging them, lol

So he follows them. They walk haltingly along, leaning on each other for support, aided by walking sticks. They finally get to the back of the tavern and make their way to the fence. The old lady lifts her skirt, takes her knickers down and the old man drops his trousers. She turns around and as she hangs on to the fence, the old man moves in.

Suddenly, they erupt into the most furious sex that the watching policeman has ever seen. They are bucking and jumping like eighteen-year-olds. This goes on for about forty minutes. She’s yelling, “Ohhh, God!” He’s hanging on to her hips for dear life. This is the most athletic sex imaginable. Finally, they both collapse panting on the ground. The policeman is amazed. He thinks he has learned something about life that he didn’t know.

After about half an hour of lying on the ground recovering, the old couple struggle to their feet and put their clothes back on. The Policeman, still watching, thinks that was truly amazing. He was going like a train. I’ve got to ask him what his secret is.

As the couple passes, he says to them, “That was something else. You must have been having sex for about forty minutes. How do you manage it? You must have had a fantastic life together. Is there some sort of secret?”

The old man says, “Fifty years ago that wasn’t an electric fence!”

Most of you know that my brother is in prison, this card was drawn by his bunkie. My brother said he is the best he has ever seen. The dress, heart and hair were drawn with ink pens. The rest is done in colored pencils. AMAZING!!! Wished I could draw like this..........................

I had a very good time at Sis Carolyn. Helped her with her yoyo quilt, chatted like 2 schoolgirls... gossiped on MIL of course. She's related to MIL btw and knew her very well.. so it's easier to just air out things!
Plus, it was good to dine with a girl you love.

Kel is .. oh well.. a man with a superman psyche. Thank you all for your prayers.. he's coping.
But Murdock is going downhill this second time around. I hope his strength will improve.

Love you my sisters. Am leaving the house for a few just to see what the thrift stores have. May need to get a few sheets for the cats' beddings.
