We have a recycling center, & they charge for everything except used oil....plus you have to buy a debit card at Town Hall, & they charge $20.00 every year...they do transfer any money left on the debit card, but that's a charge I don't feel like paying! I had a slight problem with my "new" car....I pulled the hood release rather than the emergency brake release....could not get the hood up, or totally closed.....took it in town to the guys who fix my cars.....3 guys in the waiting room, all smiling at my story....told them I knew I was just a ditzy lady.....haha...it took 2 mechanics to get it open! They said it was a bad design...well, it is, & I'm never opening the hood again! But at least I didn't feel too ditzy after that.....

Coffee break #90 welcoming 2013
Heehee. Bet they felt ditzy after that
Anybody going to a Hobby Lobby tomorrow? The closest one to me is about 30 miles away, but I might venture out. There is an Amish market on the way home I may just have to try out as well.
Funny, M!
I would, Jan, if one was near me.
We have hazordous waste disposel in Sept. That's ite. They have changed recyclying to once a week which is helpful with all the catalogs which come through. Luckily my tonic water bottles can be returned near the grocery store.
Guess you don't have to feel ditzy if the mechanics couldn't even figure it out, LOL
Hobby Lobby has on line shopping
Closest store to me is 30 miles too...what's up with that?
WHats up with going tomorrow in particular?
And whats up with the post office huge line yesterday?? EVerybody returning stuff?
I H A T E when I get that ditzy-woman treatment....
I guess tomorrow at Hobby Lobby is a concentrated effort to support them for standing up for what they believe in resisting paying for healthcare that forces them to purchase a program that supplies abortifacients. Without going into topics that may be censored, I will leave it at that. Did that answer your question, dear?
Maybe postage is going up and they wanted to beat it?
Oh OK, nuff said, thanks! But I already have way too many unused craft supplies. I have fifteen miles to go.
Scary that you can kill someone and be out 10 years later. When will we learn?

Victor.Milwaukee has a great botanical garden as well as a fine zoo.
Allison, my heart is breaking for Randy, you & family. You are in my thoughts and prayers, I am so very sorry. :(
So sorry for the loss of Randy's brother, Allison. I'm sure your show of strength will greatly help the situation.
thanks guys.. think we are all in a fog this morning
sending hugs, Allison.
Our best to you Allison.
I had forgotten about the zoo as only the primate house was finished when I moved east. Botanical garden is on the south side of town. It is where there is a larger diversity of trees. When I was in HS my father took me there to collect leaves for a biology project.

When we talked with our oldest son in Oregon last night he said to bring up an email he had just sent with the title SURPRISE. He and his family are going to get bigger probably before the end of the month. God seems to be opening doors for them to adopt a 6yr old boy. Markus is half-Somali and also has some developmental issues, but they are familiar with those sorts of things already. Sooo.... We will have grandy #11 soon. Can hardly wait til the summer to meet this little guy in person. Please pray for God's wisdom for them. We are very excited!
Jan that's wonderful, best of luck to them...good to hear some"good" news!
that is awesome Jan.. congrats
wonder what the downside to this is

Never heard of that, sounds too good to be true(if it really works)
So sorry for your loss Allison, what happened???
they are not sure.. but think he had a seizure (epilepsy) and maybe a heart attack.. we won't know for a while after the tests come back.. he was always good taking his meds.. can't even imagine what went wrong
The little boy in Oregon is very lucky.
So awful, Allison. How old?
43
Jan - Congratulations! Allison - {{hugs}}
