Now, you can go hitch hiking, Jo!! Freedom!!!!
Coffee break #90 welcoming 2013
you stole my line jan!
pfffftttt
Those were the days.....hitched from CT to Syracuse with a few friends while in college....hitched from the Cape down to the Newport Jazz Festival.....crazy! Pixie, your daughter can't be 35, if you are only 40, right? Glad the splint is off, Jo....
Yay, Jo
Happy b-day to your daughter Celeste
Heehee. Great minds, wha!
When I was a new driver I picked up a hitchhiker. I was and am very trusting, but probably wouldn't do that today!!
My sister picked up a hitchhiker once, my mom almost had a heart attack! her excuse.... she needed someone to talk to and keep her awake on the ride home
No tiddly winks just yet, Jo!
I would only pick up a 20-something girl, 5 ft 2, 36-24....hee hee!
Finally got around to joining the gym yesterday. It's a Snap Fitness branch. Small, but good enough for me. No frills, which keeps down the cost, which is $40 per month, no contract. Will prob go right after the little guy gets on the bus. Will shoot for three times a week.
40 a month is expensive
Not around here. The new NY Fitness is way more - but they have a huge pool, classes, etc.

Inappropriate!
tee hee.
My gym is 60 a mo , includes classes, pool, weight rooms, racquetball, and cardio and bike rooms, day care.. Or 100 a mo for family up to 4 people..
Family rate is very good.
Liking it now that the oldest kid is devoted to triathlon training- it was well appreciated during break that he could use pool and try the spin class. DD went a couple times, yoga with a friend. We might have gotten 20 - 25 visits in that month for the family.
DH makes a point of showering at Club to use their water and soap LOL. Me I'd rather just go home after class and not lug the clothes.
I'm back to DG, after taking a break; I was heartbroken that my fellow DGers, and people in general, suffered from the hurricane, and I'm hypersensitive to people (and animals) suffering.
I was going to come back in mid-December, but the CT tragedy was terrible, and upsetting.
Well, it's a brand-new year, and let's hope for a great one !!!
I hope everyone is OK, or on the mend if there's a problem.
Idon't have the time to read all the threads, but I truly enjoyed the recent photos of the little ones. They are adorable, and they brighten the day !
Happy (belated) New Year to all of you !
Welcome back, BA! Missed you?
Welcome back!!
I am speechless.. all my neighbors collected money to give to the kids & gave us a mass card.. totally beside myself.. would never expect something like that
Very nice!
awesome!
Welcome back BA!
Although I've never "met" any of you, in person at least, I think of all of you like extended family, because gardeners are generally loving, caring folks.
I don't usually make broad generalizations like that about people, but plant lovers and animal lovers are frequently giving types, not selfish or shallow.
It's nice to be back !!!
Allison that was so nice, you have great neighbors. :)
Welcome back BA!
