its like living with the 3 stooges ?
$$ SWEET INTERRUPTIONS $$ # 251
hahahaha do they poke each other in the eyes with their horn buds?
Sis Judy, that's a huge undertaking!! Next step will be your own landscaping business. There are courses offered online, but it will be easy for you, with practical experience.
Who is Moe? Lolol. Goats will eat anything Sue, make sure their pen is secure.
My granduncle raised goats where he worked. He was the groundskeeper for a Muslim cemetery, and he didn't have to weed!! Only problem was the little pellets they left all over the grounds that he had to clean before the Ramadhan is over!
He's lucky that the cemetery was a historical one, and no new graves can be made.
What I remember was the smell... goats in hot tropical countries.. ewwww...
LOL yes they actually do . the butt heads the two younger ones.
I m going to try and get into the meat goat business. lots of idea's going . Ohio muslin and hispanic population is growing and there is a need and profit to make.
i love goat meat also.
Jaye yes Bucks will stink beyond the boundries of our nasal pleasure.
Good for you Sue! I truly wish you all the best, and if you already have the market for mutton/cabrito, you'd succeed for sure!
Kel's highschool classmate, who's a certified CPA, went into the goat farming business due to the large Hispanic community here. She sells to their stores which is good, as she doesn't directly deal with customers.
Even though my family eat goats, I can't. I'm allergic to them. My mum used to test me, lied that they were beef each time she cooked them. Hard to distinguish the taste when they're cooked in a rich sauce like curries. But the nights always end up terrible for me. So she quit cooking them until I left home.
Now, I have no problems with sheep or lamb. Ex' father raised sheep. We used to bring up dressed sheep when visiting my Muslim friends in Indiana.
Morning sistahs. Raining here again. Expecting more till New Year. Got to be grateful that it's not snowing!
Interesting, Jaye, how people don't believe in our allergies......... also interesting that you have no prob with sheep or lamb..... wonder what chemical is in goat that you're allergic to?!?!
yes, be grateful it's not snowing lol Were having single digit below 0c now, and that's great!!
Actually had it 1C yesterday!!
Sue, some muslims believe they have to kill the animal themselves, as part of a ritual! At least here they do. Good luck with your business.
Well Susan.. sheep and goat are like apples and oranges. Meat but different.
I googled it, and found out there are some strange people like me who are allergic to goat meat.
Here, it says there's goat meat allergy causd by ticks?
http://www.cnn.com/2012/06/20/health/meat-tick-bite-allergy/index.html
My symptoms then were.. having problems breathing.. body was hot.. these last for a while. It might be anaphalaxyc (sp) shock?
The strange thing, is ticks do attack deer and sheep. Yet I'm not allergic to them. So, got to be something in the goat!
Rain has stopped. Time for me to greet my outside cats that have lined up for food!!
LK, you got a point there!!
Muslims slaughter their own meat to make them "Halal" or kosher.
But some Muslims do accept non-kosher.
In Lafayette, La., the mosques would slaughter the animals for a fee.
Check it out first Sue, but your best bet were to sell to Hispanics if you were to slaughter them yourself, or find a mosque closeby and ask the imam in charge.
~~~~ All caught up reading now! Son just said he and the girls are coming down, so off to straighten up a bit! :o)
Love you!
How wonderful, Joyce! I just know you're going to really enjoy the visit!!
Jaye - tried to call you, but no answer........ did Kel turn down the volume again?
I tried to call this holiday season, too, Jaye....guess you were napping under the tree!
lol That may be it!!! lol
JJ's?
Wasn't under the tree, Cookie!! Was on top, trying to navigate the "star"!! Lolol!!
Sorry Susan, again we weren't home when you called. We were supposed to do our grocery shopping today, but Kel was asked to report for work this morning. Sometimes they do that on his days off, but only for 8 hours, unlike his 12 hours evening shift.
We got home late, I crashed and left Kel to his Utube!
JJ? Jumping Jack??? Jungle Jim's??? Jungle Juice??? Janet Jackson??
I envy you Sue, being able to call upon Cookie and just hang out!
Do hope you both are not getting any more snow.
Hope my sistahs have a wonderful, weather perfect Sunday.
Dropping in with a "hi"
On the cooler side this morning but promises to warm tomorrow into the 80's
Lots to keep me busy, going out at 9:30 for IHOP breakfast, mouth watering for pancakes with all the fruit and whip cream. Lol then to pick up a few things at the ft Myers flea market I should have bought when I eyed them on Friday, purse, outfit,earrings,travelling bra's and then to quilt lovers hangout. They say this fabric store is fantastic so I'll see what may be new and am looking for specific patterns for the twister technique, some blackboard fabric and and and and.
Best I go ake a coffee
Enjoy your day
Betty, if you have not yet tried the stuffed french toast, your missing a great treat! So good!
Morning everyone! Still sick here! I have done nothing but get up, have a cup of coffee or tea, take a hot shower, go back to bed, get up... another cup of tea, more meds. This crud is kicking my butt! But I am finally out of my jammies today, took a long hot shower, and got dressed.
And there goes Betty!! Off to make a Sunday a fruitful shopping one!!
Hope you find lots of deals, Betty!
That's good news that you're finally out of your jammies. So, you're off doing normal Sunday stuff? Or you'll be getting Todd to take you out for a good meal to make up for all that lost appetite?
LK, do you find IHOP's eggs too small? I wonder sometimes if they're not quail eggs!! Lol!!
Well not a good morning for me today
got my credit card number stolen ... boy they have a feild day with it too. Its such an invasion . i feel icky and am shaking !
. i only wish i checked my account yesterday so they couldn't have anymore fun with it. Canceled it today and got the fraud dept to look into it.
i check my account every day.
i rarely use my card, only around the holiday's i use it..
i need a cupcake !! and the stupid bakery is closed until jan 2 ??? why would a bakery be closed during the holidays ???
Oh pooh, Sue! That happened to us once, too. Think someone at a store in Gatlinburg took our number. We were only responsible for the first $50. It was American Express and they did treat us right for sure.
JJ's. You got it, Jaye, Jungle Jim's. There's a new store, so two now instead of just one. I like the new one well enough, but I don't know where anything is, so it's frustrating! I'm up for it Sue, just let me know when!!
Glad you stopped the card before more damage could be done! Hope you get it all refunded quickly!
Jaye, I don't eat eggs unless they are mixed with something else, like potato salad or an omelet, so I don't know if the eggs are small or not.
The only thing that kinda irked me was the fact no one called to alert us ?
Tim's card will call and ask if your the one purchasing items and they ask you security questions to make sure you are the person who owns the card.
I mean come on for goodness sakes' i use my card 1- 3 times a year and never more then $ 500.00 and pay it off within 30 days . Been doing that for the last 10 yrs ! and this person made off with over 5,000 dollars of stuff with in 48 hrs . !!!!
this is why Tim never likes to keep much in the checking account. if they had got that ! oh my gosh..... i shudder to think.
also with my child support card if they get that number then i m totally out of luck and many many dollars poorer and can't replace it. So i will get my cash out and keep it here with me next to my boobies !!! tucked away safe.... no one goes in there anymore Bwahahaha
That's a lot of money Sue!
Wonder why there 's no red flag when your card was used in an unusual pattern? Can't understand why security codes weren't asked neither? Were the purchases made online?
We got swiped out of $70 odd with our debit card on Itunes. But the company did reimburse us. If purchased through their online site, no other info is needed. Sad ain't it.
Wish we have a JJ here, Cookie. Sure enjoyed that tour when I was there! Especially the cheese and international section!
Wishing all a good night. Expecting Kel to return soon and that means no pc time for me. He had downloaded hundreds of Youtube vids and I wonder if he had enough time to watch them all!
Jaye, how do you download from you tube? I know you can view video's, I did not know you can download them!
Sue, sure hope you guys give the bank an earful in the morning!
Actually you can't download on your hard drive, LK.
On the left, below the video you'll see the "add" box.
Click on it and make a playlist. Be sure to make it private, if not your playlist is open to all.
Good thing is, it's stored online, if not we'll be running out of memory.
Kel dumped ALL songs onto one playlist. I managed mine!
Ah, I got it! Thanks for the private tip, I did not know all could see what your viewing on YouTube.
Morning everyone! Coffee is ready! How about some English muffins, with your choice of cream cheese, or jams.
Morning all
Sue, big hugs, so frustrating, you sure didn't need the card theft. Am sure credit card company will get it all straightened out. Most if not all cards are prepared for this kind of theft.
Say is will be in mid 80's here but right now I'm chilled.
Got the sewing machine out last night, made a beach bag for Darlene, covering the outside with 'slickers'. Turned out ok, guess I'm ready for sewing again. In my haste in leaving a quilt runner top ended up in my grab bag, who knows, might go to Joann's and purchase quilt batting and quilt it just to make sure I like the quilting process on it before it travels north on Friday.
imagine, Christmas is over and it's New Year's Eve, quiet night here for sure..don't celebrate the New Year and likely in bed by 8pm party animal that I am. Lol
Hope there is some sunshine in your life today.
Thanks LK. Love all cream cheese spreads. I have croissants to share. Buttery flaky layers of pure goodness!
Sue, make you some spiced cider. That will warm you up with a touch of brandy or whiskey.
Oh Betty, what a nice statement... sunshine in our lives.
Need you to sprinkle some of that craft energy on me!
Queen of procrastinate here...
Waiting on Kel to have the weekend off again, so I could take my leisure time to shop at Joann's. The nearest one is about 1 1/2 hour away.
Kel came home with 2 boxes of doughnuts. Hambone had an early New Year celebration! When he laid out some in his food bowl, Hambone looked at them and then looked up at daddy. As though saying "What am I supposed to do with them"!
Kel had to pick one up, coax him into it!! Spoiled dog!!
I have permission to not cook today :D It's romaine lettuce and leftover ham for me!! Stomach wants to return to normal, and no more unnecessary carbos!!
oh SUE!!! how nasty - sure you'll get reimbursed...... ((((((Sue)))))))
Tomorrow we're having ham & scalloped potatoes and green beans... had invited people, but no one's coming so we'll have our dinner together and enjoy movies all day!
That, and cleaning today for the new year, is about all.
I'll pick Bob up from work shortly........
we are having hot dogs tonight for our fancy dinner ..
got some bare essentials at grocery today
wine
Baileys
bread and whip cream LOL
yea the card company will get it all straightened out. it just sucks that criminals will get away with it . so sad.
well it started snowing again
going to watch a movie with the kids
Sue, first of all sending you HUGS, then I suggest one of the new fangled...metal wallets...folks with them fancy scanner things, can not scan your cards through the metal.....
got to wonder where, how they got your number????
i was told by the fraud guy that they scan the internet by punching in numbers until they get a match of a number ?
or a scanner like you said thunder. i have heard of that too. Tim and i will get a metal wallet. good idea.
i will make it a point to keep my cards at home. I will bring cash. i would rather loose 100.00 in cash then 2,000 in my bank account. !
if they get my child support card i loose that and can't get it back. i got lucky this time only my credit card and I m not responsible for any of the charges but may not be so lucky next time.
i would hate to think they got it from the charity i donate too. they take my number over the phone by a person. Oh i would hate to think that but ????
2 years ago, I used Todd's card online for Christmas lights, I thought it was weird they asked for the 3 digit numbers on the back of the card, but they said it was for security reasons, well, the next day, he checked his account online, and they took $900.00 out twice, and was in the process of trying it again when he was on the phone with the bank! He got all his money back, but it took time, and new cards were issued.
Most of the online transactions, asked for the 3 digits LK. But I've been lucky, the only fraud I had was the Itunes, and I don't even order from Itunes. It would be so nice if all online stores accept Paypal, especially the fabric stores! Lol!
Thanks for the metal tip Thunder. I'll start looking for 2.
We like the convenience of debit cards, but you're right Sue. Good thing our checking acct. always have a low balance! Lol!
Nothing fancy for tomorrow neither. Kel wants Thai food, but being he's working, he had to settle for Chinese closeby.
You all remember Cody? (Rosegirl)
I finally got hold of her, and she's still without a pc. She had moved into a trailer, close to her dad and Alex and her are doing fine.
It's GAME time tonight!! 7.30 kick off!
The ChiCk-Fil-A Bowl!~ LSU against Clemsons. I got carrots, humus and lettuce ready. Nope, no wine.. but a good large cup of Dunkin Donuts coffee!!
Sis Kathy, I'll be wrapping myself in that LSU snuggle.
Geaux Tigers!
did you make LSU snuggle from the rows we did way back when??? geaux Tigers metal wallets are available at wal mart
