Homemade Baileys Irish Cream Recipe
http://www.cupcakeproject.com/2009/12/homemade-baileys-irish...

Here is the homemade Baileys Irish Cream recipe for all of my friends, both on and offline. It's easy enough that you should have time to whip up a batch to take to your New Year's Eve parties! I found the recipe on a discussion forum on Chowhound. The entire discussion is worth a read. It contains lots of information about the drink.

1 C light cream
14 oz sweetened condensed milk
1 2/3 C Irish whiskey
1 t instant coffee
2 Tbs Hershey's chocolate syrup
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp almond extract

-Combine all ingredients in a blender and set on high speed for 30 seconds.
-Bottle in a tightly sealed container and refrigerate. Shake before using.
-Will keep for up to 2 months.

Judy I did the skates and mine look just like Sean's. We had fun doing them. I still haven't done the snowman heads yet as we have been pretty busy with rinning to the hospital for chemo and surgery. Norm is doing very well. How is Joyce doing? Will she be with you for Christmas?

Sending a special thank you to Linda Kay tonight. umm, ummm. uummmm GOOD!!!!!

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Well, here they are, one red, one blue! I forgot to put the plaid stripes on the red one, but kind of like it plain too! I also put the feet the wrong way I think on the blue one. Need to change them around. I need to know how to put the wire on the back to hang him please?
Waiting on instructions for the little snowmen faces please?

Those came out so cute Linda Kay!!! I think the feet are backward on the red one. Either that or he is what we used to call "ding-toed" where the toes point to each other. I like them just the way you have them and the plain vest on the red looks just fine too.....

Thanks barb!

Love the end result LindaKay, I always like asking if you enjoyed this project?
Liz, did you get yours done?

As for the snowmen faces..see November 25 and Dec 8th posting, they were simply painted off white as the large snowman, dabs of black for the smile, cheek blush, glue nose in different directions...i would drill a screw through branch not the snowman head then with fabric (think I sent you scarf fabric) tie at bottom of head ..could stick them in a planter or container

Sure I added photo at the beginning somewhere

Love your snowmen Liz!

Betty, I loved doing this project! It was a lot of fun. My DIL told me I need to make more, and there is a craft fair near them every fall, and she said I could sell a bunch of these there!

Liz, your creativity astounds me..love them..love how you put the trim around them..had some white fur I had from kids Halloween costumes a few years ago and almost sent you some..you saw the same..having fur!!

LindaKay, likely if you did some primitive pieces like we've done for a few years you could sell them..something to think about..you kept one and gave other to neighbor?

(thunder)Wildwood, FL(Zone 9a)

very very nice Liz!!!

(Barb) Manchester, NH(Zone 5a)

thank you,
there's a funny story behind them i gave those to my sister, years ago my sister and her best friend and myself went ice skating we were having so much fun my sisters best friend lured her out to the middle she fell and hit her head and had a concussion,
us all being in our youth and it being my sister i yelled at her and said great you ruined our skating and now we have to take you to the doctor.
needless to say we got into even more trouble when my mom found out!
but when she saw those skates tonight she laughed and said there fantastic she was going to hang them on her wall as a reminder of that day.

thunder ment to tell you how nice yours turned out and i like the glass ornaments cute idea

Ohh Liz, isn't it the greatest when gifts are given that bring back memories..did you think she would remember?

Pacifica, CA

no, then she burst out laughing then i knew i was caught lol

Really like this one too Betty. Bit then again I love snowmen...

You really are going through the workshops. Lol

Yes,, I have a really ipset stomache right now. So I am just laying here and reading all day. I am saving all the pictures to my phone and then transfer them to my laptop. That way I can do each project easily. I will send pictures as I finish each one. On the bad news side, are due to have below freezing weather for the next 10 days, s the kids may not be comming. We only have heat in the bedroom right now, do doing crafts in the kitchen. So now I have to see when the kids can do these. But we will get them done. Maybe not all at one time, but we will.

Sorry about all the mis spelling. I tried to go back and fix, but just keeps making me do quotes..sigh....
