Can you imagine, I'm sitting, eating Chinese feeling wonderful that our workshop is done, that I didn't leave you all in the lurch AND that I'm sitting waiting for Santa to come, that I've been a good girl, worked hard and have 2 weeks to relax before heading to Florida...of course starting the first week of January didn't do any harm....lol

Gee whiz this Chinese food is good..enough for the class, want to join me??

Love those skates Barb. Judy your snowman is looking good. I need to sand and repair the red piece on mine, as I painted red over white, and the red is so much brighter than the other piece. So I will hopefully get mine decorated tomorrow.

Yep, fried rice/chicken wings (greasy) chow mien, honey garlic ribs and orange chicken..enough left for tomorrow night.

Keep looking at the clock, still early, feel I should be doing something, but won't!

I really really enjoyed this project Betty.
Had a lot of fun personaliing it..found my buttons they are snowflakes and then I found snowflake garland so added them as buttons on the boots.

No Julia has not seen him yet. Will give it to her tonight we are going out to dinner for her birthday.

I cant wait to see everyone elses project.

He looks like one happy snowman Judy..most exciting part of the workshop is seeing how each personalize them..Oooh oohh look at the boots..love the dots, make him look like he is wearin a high boot style.

Barb, your little tree is very pretty. Sean looks adorable posing with skates for Mom.

spoke to my Momma this eve, and she said she had a friend over today...friend went crazy when she saw her quilt !!! Proud Momma told her i did all the quilting by hand, friend could not believe it...then she looked closer.....said holy sh** that must be millions of little stitches!! said your daughter must really love you??!!!! Momma said well of course she does!!!! I did not need the quilt to know that!!! butttttt I am sure glad she did it for me!!!

Here Home Depot sells 4' x 10" wide slabs of pine for $3.98 I think it was..one slab does a snowman..always an alternative than the hunt you are planning.

I have one done, painted him blue, and waiting for glitter glue to dry, will post pictures later. Next one is painted red. Just need to add the plaid pattern and glitter him up!

I am keeping one, and the red one is for my neighbor. She saw what I was doing and asked if I could get one for her, so I am giving it to her.

Thunder, I have a parrot just like that. My Paco is 31 years old. He loves to share coffee with me in the morning!

his dad was a blue front amazon, can never remember what his mom was??? he will not touch coffee, or anything cold. Lemon is only 8

His "brother" Zeus on the other hand loves coffee, when he deems it, that he will honor me with his company......reminds me of a cat LOL does everything on HIS terms.....
