Sweet Interruptions #248
copy/pasted what I posted in the "last" room
lol that's funny "fish bait" lol
My DH sells a gas additive - Syntek - (for gas or diesel) that keeps your gas and tank clean and burns more efficiently. It sure helps with my car (gas), his truck (diesel) and Motor Home (gas).
For my car, when I was driving it to work, I filled up every 3 weeks after using it compared to every 2 weeks without the additive. It's available for US & Canada, and gets shipped directly to his customers. If you want any, let me know and I'll provide his website.
I'm FIRST lol
Wow, thanks for the tip, Susan. I'll pass that on to Kel.
im heer, and did not need bread crumbs
Here's some pics of our camping weekend!
Each campsite is about 200 to 300 ft apart, so very private.
#1 looking into our site - very long, about 61 ft
#2 Bob blocking the tires prior to finishing the jacking the trailer to level it
#3 Our firepit and table - didn't use the table outside
#4 Sparrow's Egg Lake - in the bottom left - very tiny lake! There is a tributary off to the right, but still....not very big! Fish in it, but can't take any fish out.
#5 Mountains in Peter Lougheed Provincial Park - surrounding the campground. We're in the valley.
beautiful mountain, but you can keep the snow
Some more pics from the weekend.
#1 Small washroom "cabin"
#2 Another view of Sparrow's Egg Lake, surrounded by native grasses - looks like wheat, but it's not
#3 Flower in the snow - not sure what the berry is............but it's not poison oak lol
#4 More mountains surround us
#5 The green flames are from a chemical pack called "Mystic Fire". A little girl passing by on the road said "Daddy - they have green fire!! How do they DO that?" lol It was pitch black, so you could see it from far away. We get these packs all the time - they're so pretty. Sometimes the colour is violet, blue and green. This one was mostly green.
lol we got a "skiff" of snow - too early in the season for very much, but the mountain tops have snow, some of them all year round. Some of the mountains looked like bare rock, too. No snow "yet".
Oooh Susan, the rv looks like it would be so cozy!!! So glad good luck came your way.
Don't like seeing that white stuff, shaking my head no..
Sure does, Betty! It looks cozy for sure.
The older Winnebago models are better built, Susan. I'm very happy for you.
Thanks for sharing the pics! Yep, you can keep the snow.
lol well, we weren't affected by the snow. A couple of times we had to look Really Hard to see it was there in the air. Other times it didn't exist. The snow came before we arrived. The snow that was on the picnic table was swept off and melted the next day.
Susan, looks like you had a great view for your weekend!
great pics Susan and yes i don't want to look at snow yet ! same with christmas tree's . Went to Walmart and the holiday stuff is out..... :P ain't going there yet !
jaye sorry about the loss. Tim sure loves the way you all talk on the football. i read to him all of your football stuff. He would enjoy talking football with you gals :)
got chicken coop cleaned
eye dr for me and austin. he is NEAR SIGHTED ! poor thing. blind as a bat that kid was. still have to wait 7-10 days for his new glasses.
then grocery
ate at Mc D's oh when will i learn i can't eat that stuff anymore ? blach ! i can do Wendys and yes i agree the chilli sucks ! what happened to it ?
got some deer thawing out and will make some jerky tomorrow morning before i leave for work.
Pretty Mountains ! but YUCK on the snow!!! It is also very pretty, but I can absolutely say that it is one thing I really hate.
That looks like an ideal spot, Susan. Since I don't see snow around here except on the mountains I wouldn't have minded a weekend in the cold white stuff. So glad you have that great motor home to go camping, when we camped with our boys we used a tent too, until we put a camper on our truck. Some good times then.
We are having some nice cool days now, hope it stays this way for a while. They say rain is in the forcast and I really hope it happens. Sitting in the waiting room when DH has his Zometa infusion I actually think I could have used a sweater. While waiting for him I went and had my blood work done, checked on his Zitega meds which they just got in so had to go back later. Also got my flu shot, and that didn't leave me much time to read. Always carry a book with me when we go to the doctor.
The gas prices run as high as $4.79 a gallon and our van's light came on saying the fuel supply is very low. He put the gas can with the lawn mower gas in it in the van just in case we ran out. They aso said that Los Angeles county has higher prices than other places. Hoping we can hold out until prices start to come down.
It was beautiful, and we'll be going camping again. Apparently their rainy season is May/June, and it's perfect weather for camping July/August. Mind you, we'll be inside so that won't be a deterrent. I know...... we can't go out hiking in the rain, right? lol sure we can! if it's not TOO heavy that is.......
I just had a "thought" about my chest pains...... perhaps it's due to coffee intake? I hadn't eaten anything from bedtime until afternoon, but had had coffee - and chest pains. So, going to minimize my coffee intake and see if there's a connection. According to this website, there may be a correlation.... It also mentions "If you are prone to heart attacks and have consumed the equivalent of 8 or more cups of coffee, it may be difficult to determine if your symptoms are caused by excess caffeine or a heart attack."
http://www.livestrong.com/article/540382-can-coffee-mimic-heart-attack-symptoms/#ixzz28rb4YXun
Who knows...... maybe reducing my coffee will help?!?!
Reducing coffee is always a good thing. BUTTTTTTT YOU NEED to talk to Dr again, or see someone else!!!! YES I YELLED
love you, and you need to find out what is going on!!!
Keep yelling at Susan, Thunder!! We tend to self diagnose, but the best thing is to get an expert's or two experts opinions, especially when that won't cost much in Canada!!
Good morning sistahs.
Austin, did I get your illness? Joking.. sorry to read you're near sighted. Don't lose your glasses.
Sue, I cannot stand MC D!! Only 2 fast food joints I can tolerate are Wendy's and Arby's.
Pegi, I always bring along a book with me whenever I go to the doctors. It's a nice habit, as those doctors make you wait in their consulting rooms as well!!
By the way, I found a new book on eBay for $10 with shipping, compared to the actual price of $29 at Books A Million! Price of new books are getting so ridiculous!
Went to bed real early last night. Had a slight fever, didn't know where that came from.
Woke up to a kitchen as though the tornado had gone through it. You know.. daddy played hard when mama is sleeping?
He left opened packs of pita bread, pizza crumbs, glasses of varying Kool Aid flavor (what was he experimenting), banana peels and empty Humus tubs on the counter!! You swear he doesn't know what a trash can is.
Nope, not upset.. HE will have to clean that all up when he wakes up.
Isn't that exasperating when a grown man acts like an irresponsible child?
Have a fantastic Wednesday sistahs. Power prayer tonight!
Oh Sueeeeeee.... Tim...
us in the South take our football very seriously, especially those in the SEC!! Ask Missouri and Texas Aggies that join the SEC this year. They found out how rabid the fans are!!
Here's one proof of Sis Kathy's ALABAMA fan nuttyness!! Right Sis? Besides burning down Auburn's favorite old oak tree!! Lol!
Bama Family Photo Featuring Baby As Football!!
Morning Jaye, your up early! I agree, make him clean up his mess.
yep, that be us bama fans, and jaye you sure are right, we people in the south live and breath football!
Yah Sis, don't forget to quote the Alabama fans' prayer.
"Praise the Lord
God is good
We got Saban" Lolol!
NEVER FEAR, SABAN IS HERE
Thunder dear - my Dr isn't listening and I am made to feel I'm wasting his time.
We may get our health care for less, but I discovered that I can't get another Dr. There's only 3 ways to switch Drs - either have your Dr retire/die, never have had a Dr, or get referred by family/friends.
There is ONE Dr who is accepting new patients, in our quadrant of the city...... I'll call their office and see what I can do. Otherwise, it's "go to the hospital and wait for 7 hours to see a Dr". I did that last year, and they said "nothing wrong with you". I'm not a hypochondriac, and refuse to waste everyone's time with simple stress/anxiety attacks. I'm off to have a nice hot bath and see if that will relax me. My shoulder blades are hurting...... likely stress
Yah, don't forget, Saban had his training with LSU and then took off for Alabama. I forgave him for being a traitor. As long as he wins for the SEC this year :D
Off to bed with a good book.. see y'all later in the evening!!
Susan, anxiety attacks are nothing to take lightly either. Hope you can get into the new Dr.
well, we'll see if I can even Get a new Dr. As I said, I may not be able to......or it could take three Months. There aren't a lot of available Drs and they say whether they will take new patients........
Living in a very small town, we are limited in our choices of doctors and hospitals too, Susan. Unfortunately, there are no University Hospital closeby where I won't mind waiting for hours, just to get affordable medical care.
Really hope a new doctor with fresh eyes can help you, Susan.
I just got off the phone with a nurse at Health Link. She gave me 3 names of Drs accepting new patients and I have one name also. I'll call them and see. Here's hoping.......
keeping fingers crossed susan
I got a call from my Dr's office - booked for Friday at 11:30 for lung test, and they're waiting to hear back from cardiologist. I'll go to both........who knows, I might find something - hope not lol
Keeping you in my thoughts, Susan, that this new doctor will listen to you and find out the source of your problem. I know stress can cause lots of problems. I did some lab work yesterday and when I looked them up on the computer the urine test wasn't normal. Well, this morning heard from doctor's office that there was a problem, but I feel just fine. So, next week I have to go in for another urine sample. I'm so thankful that we have a primary doctor who stays on top of all problems. (((((HUGS)))))
We stopped by the Habitat for Humanity yesterday, love to look around at everything. They had some small tiles (for the mosaic work I want to do if I ever get around to it) some priced and some not. I had 3 sheets of pretty tiles and when I asked the girls the price they said $10. Wow, that was way too much so I decided to only take 1 sheet. I looked around some more and when we went to check out the girls were gone to lunch and the manager was waiting on people. He asked if they were marked and when I said no he only charged me $1. I really should have gone back and got a lot more, don't think I'll get them for that price again. Sure do love a bargain!!
Way to go Pegi!!!
This isn't a new Dr - it's my current one, Pegi.
I'm going to have these tests and see what's up, then I'm going to talk to my Dr about my stress level. I'm sure that this is what's causing my problems......
btw - went to a "church ladies" meeting this afternoon, and fell asleep in the middle of it. No one said anything, partly because 2 of them were at the board meeting last night when I was suffering from chest pains and they all understand.......
Yeap Urban went to Ohio from University of Florida where he quit due to health reasons (so he stated), came back and then quit to go to Ohio. He did take UF to a couple of chamionships while there. I think it was 2----could be wrong.
Hugs Susan, I sure hope you get to feeling better.
Hugs Sue.
