Sweet Interruptions # 247

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Oh Betty, he is adorable, and almost finished, you can get it done!

Morning everyone!

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Good morning sistahs!
Betty, it's not like you not to finish up something you've started! I trust you would have that scarecrow standing in its full glory before thanksgiving. Maybe you could do it at work? What's another project to do amongst the fabric crafts that you've surprised your boss with!! Lolol!

Wow, LK. Love those pumpkins. So pretty! Will you be doing Christmas balls that way? I love the colors and I can imagine how awed your grandkids will be when they see them. Grandma got talent!

Thunder, Synda's having breasts reduction. This will help alleviate her back problems, plus removing the benign lump found on one.
Rick's taking a couple of days off to make sure she's not alone. Surgery today, overnight stay, and if all goes well, home tomorrow.
Rick's supposed to let me know how her surgery went later today.

Susan, if it's not food related, you might have an acute anxiety attack sistah. Look at the multiple symptoms listed here. The scary one is the electrical jolts. I have experienced those, and not in a good place neither. http://www.anxietycentre.com/anxiety-symptoms.shtml
Smart of you to insist on following up with a cardiologist.
In the meantime, drink a glass of red wine before bed. Besides calming you down, it will be good for the old ticker!

Sue, borrow "Convicted" from NetFlix. It's based on a true story and Hillary Swank was awesome in her performance.
Kel enjoyed this too. It's on our future buy list!

Got some medical stuff to take care of, so here I go again, being busy.
At least I'm alive right?

The last daylily to rebloom. "Deeply Dramatic" The blooms are about 8" across!
Have a wonderful, beautiful weather day, sistahs.

Good Morning Ladies,

Susan your symptoms sound exactly like what my mom went thru. Anxiety attacks feel just like a heart attack. She had all kinds of tests done. She is on medication now, and it doing much better.

I will be going up to my mom's tomorrow for a few days. Going to dig up the flower gardens and rearrange them, and bring some bulbs down here. Taylor has been playing soccer, her last game they kicked a$$ 7-0 and Taylor made two goals

Winnipeg, MB(Zone 3b)

Thank you everyone - esp Jaye & Cindy re: Anxiety attacks. Yes Jaye - I've had these before, and some of the symptoms and feelings I'm having are like this. The anxiety attacks I had before were the ones as I was falling asleep - strange dreams, etc, that I haven't been having now, but others are ones I AM having now, so guess I'm changing my style of attacks lol
Cindy - The Dr never "touched" on this possibility, even though I told him I was under a lot of stress, etc. I'd also started taking additional meds to get me "past" a possible seizure.......... and I know that's not a problem now, but I have been having "glitches" where I can't think of a word, etc and my short term/long term memory has been worse. Similar to the "I'm getting older" type of stuff, but I'm not THAT old lol.
oh, and I don't like red wine - do like white though......... One of our guests for Thanksgiving always brings us white wine, and we'll be taking some for the weekend.
btw - it's snowing where we're going to camp - good thing we'll be Inside!!

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Jaye, that lily is beautiful! Do they have a scent?

Cindy, don't work too hard in the gardens!

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

White wine then, to ease your nerves, Susan. Trust you not to turn into a whino!!
Till you see the cardiologist, lots of rest, DO NOTHING stressful, enjoy nothingness! Give your mind some rest.

Cindy, if Taylor keep getting good at soccer, she can look forward to a college soccer scholarship.

No scent on the DL, LK. It's remarkable that the blooms are bigger this year, last year they were around 6". No drought helps a lot.

Power prayer soon. Prayers go out to all here. Specific prayers for healing for Norm, Pegi's DH and Synda, special ones for Marion's mum and LK's dad.
Of course, for Susan here, that God helps the physician pin point the root of those 'attacks'
Hugs and good night everyone. ;)

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

PTL!!! PTL!!!
Rick called, all went well with Synda's surgery. No complications. Expected to be discharged tomorrow.
Rick said she's eager to leave today, I told him he needs another day of peace!! Lol.

Thank you so much for your prayers, sistahs.

Winnipeg, MB(Zone 3b)

yaaaaaaaaay for Synda's surgery having no complications!!

I spoke to my Dr's secretary, and she said he made an app't to have a Lung Test!! Geeze - didn't he even Listen to me? Once I went to him with bronchitis and his daughter (also a Dr in his office) sent me to the hospital via ambulance about my heart, Now I go to him and see about my heart and he wants me to have a lung test........... I TOLD him that I don't have COPD as he asked yesterday, and that I'm under a lot of stress. Did he listen to me? Apparently not - he's going by a 2 year old visit I did re: bronchitis.......... idiot......
I think I'll source out another Dr.

Franklin, OH(Zone 6a)

LK, your designs are fabulous!

Waving All! Hope you're all doing great!

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

Susan, my mom's doctor did the very same thing...........all kinds of tests, and mom had another episode a couple of weeks ago so now the doctor want her to see a cardiologist. They did a scope in the stomache, stress test, tons of blood work etc...........

Well lesson number two, rode the bike across the park, no feet on the ground!!! Yay would be better if there weren't so many gopher holes, lol

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Thanks for the Great report on Synda, so glad she is through her surgery, and will be going home tomorrow!
Cindy, good for you to make it across the park with no feet on the ground!
Susan, some Dr.'s are so busy, they don't remember what they said 5 minutes ago. Hope you get the right test scheduled soon!
Hey Cookie, can't wait to see you next week end!

I have an appointment !! DO YOU ?????

Winnipeg, MB(Zone 3b)

I'm waiting to hear about the cardio Dr's app't....... not the Lung Test, which I had done last year, and it showed my lungs are fine.

(Pegi) Norwalk, CA(Zone 10b)

I've found out doctors love to send you in for tests, at least mine does. Poor DH has been through so many, wonder how many more they can find. He now is worrying about medical bills for 2013 since everything is going up. I usually do all the worrying, now it is his turn. LOL I made an appointment for Nov. for him to see our primary doctor and he sees the oncologist on the 17th so hope all goes well.

We are getting a few cooler days so I have to take advantage of them and get out in the yard. We have such high humidity today no wonder we feel so dragged out.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Morning everyone. I had mine squished last month! Every year right on schedule!

(thunder)Wildwood, FL(Zone 9a)

good girl Linda :)

(Marion) Havana, FL(Zone 8b)

Got mine also!

Winnipeg, MB(Zone 3b)

Pegi - I know he's doing his job as he sees it, but at my age I DO know myself and my body better. I couldn't Begin to do his job for anyone else, but he should listen when I tell him stuff like the stress I've been under for awhile.
A friend of mine said "maybe you should just talk to someone in the medical field that understands stress and anxiety attacks best........". She's right of course, but I don't know anyone like that.

Barb - just "over the moon" about Norm's info - so much better to have less "invasion" re: meds, etc

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Well, my Sister just called, Dad was supposed to have an angiogram this morning to determine how bad the circulation is in his legs, first thing they did was test his blood to determine how thin it was, and it was too thin, (even though he has not had his blood thinner pills for 5 days) they also said that Dad is in stage 3 kidney failure, as the fluids were not passing through his kidneys as they should be, so they could not do the angiogram. Which means he can not be sedated for any type of surgery. So now we are back to square one with the toe amputation surgery. It can't be done. Which means the bone infection will only continue to spread. When my Sister took him to the family Dr. yesterday, he looked at Dad's chart and told Dad he is one tough nut, with all the medical problems you have, he should not be alive!

Winnipeg, MB(Zone 3b)

LK ((((((((Hugs)))))))))) to your Dad and family. I will keep him in my prayers.

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Those are some nice deals Jaye, and I like the yellow with the blue and white, I might find a pretty yellow for the background of my dresden plates?

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Yes, I saw that too LK. You would be able to use that. Yellow background for blue and white DPs would be fantastic!! That will look so Provincial.

(Barb) Manchester, NH(Zone 5a)

How did you know that was what I picked?????

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Now, now Barb. There are varying shades of yellow.. and don't forget those polka dots. I have a lovely yellow fabric with pin size blue polka dots, was thinking of using it as a background.. don't worry.. not for my DPs though!! Lol!!
You both just happen to have exquisite taste!

Morning sistahs. Football all day.. bliss for me.. and especially no cooking! Kel's off, so he'd be ordering Domino's. Me-- yoghurt and maybe some roasted peanuts. Appetizing ain't it?

Sue, hope you have some rest, sistah.
