Evening all, here I is playing lazybones on the chesterfield when I really should be doing something but I won't..who knows maybe a little later I shall at least take a peak in the craftroom..now is that lazy or not?

Hi - I've skipped over everything since I last posted to let you all know that my operation was a huge success. They were showing me off to others by the third day. I left my friend's home today and need much down time so will post more later. Love you all, katie

Fantastic news Katie, as you left. your friends home today I'm hoping you aren't trying to make it home without taking more time for healing. We'll be watching for more updates.

Betty it's bladder so not quite as painful as kidney but it feels like there's a fire in my guts lol!

He also listed the house up for sale on Craigslist, everything he's doing is against the restraining order I have in place. I just roll with the punches and deal with it.

Oh look at this party about to happen and I'm going to miss this one too! WAAAAA!!!

Crissy, will it go against him in a future court hearing? Hate the thoughts of him walking all over you like that. Kidney or bladder, both are terribly painful! Only time I feel overwhelmed about being alone is when I'm sick..hope you have friends nearby should you need them.

If he tries to sell the house, he'd have to go through a lawyer, and they'd check to see whose names are on the ownership papers, and also see if there are any encumberances to the sale...... such as a restraining order lol

Does your lawyer know about these things he is doing Crissy? He should look into having him arrested for violating the restraining order!!! Hope you feel better soon.

Ah, I so would love to sew today but decided I had better get outside with my yardman and do some serious gathering of smaller items. I don't think or want any storms but I also can't wait until the last minute. Besides, some things just need to be put away until the spring.
Besides, if I do all of this then it will turn and go somewhere else.......so off I go.

Unfortunately Florida is over due for a storm and yes most do get a little careless with not taking each seriously. I certainly don't want one but I also know I can't wait until the last minute. I guess the first thing I really should do is check the batteries in my radio just in the event we get some weather and lose power. Of course we won't know until the first of the week what will be happening.

Part of my to do list today is checking airlines to see if I can get open flight return ..will drive Dalene down to Fort Myers leaving rand the 22nd flying home around 5th of January..also have to check if best westerns allow kitties in a cage for overnight stays..should keep me out of mischief for a few minutes

HUmm, shall I jump into this with Betty. Seems she is going to be driving to Ft. Myers and being that is very close to where my Mom is, I was thinking, just thinking about maybe going down and offering to bring her back up here for a few days. Can I hold this over her head so she will go to the doctor? Whatcha think?

Actually has some tests, never heard back so guess its cleared or he would have sent me to kidney specialist!! As for aches and pains, nothing broken, just from major abuse..remind me in next trip of just how old I am please!! But you do know I'd not listen...

What shall we do for rooms?? Our own or sharing..new friends I met at Elvis festival was telling me of a great hotel, lots of freebies included in rate, thought I'd email them or call for more info..do the Michigan girls live close enough that they can travel to and from without hotel??

The update on Isaac....while the path is no way cast in stone...it looks like western FLA and Eastern LA (and all points in between)are in for rain and more rain no matter where Isaac comes ashore

Betty you should still go, the reason for you to do them is in case anything does goes wrong they will see it immediately, they're not looking at your present, they're looking at your future and making sure nothing goes haywire.

Betty I just want to add that one of my friends in CA was feeling fine but went in for her yearly physical that's required for her job, she didn't know that over that one year had become Type 1 Diabetic and with her numbers she should have been in a diabetic coma, her blood pressure was sky high, and her cholesterol levels were sky high also, SHE FELT PERFECTLY FINE! You need to be doing the tests so this doesn't happen to you.

Honest...not sick, just resting up because as you say I've been on the go for better part of the year and looking at my schedule for the rest of the year..will make an appt. though just to review things with Doctor...hmmm maybe I can make it early Friday on the friday before Frankenmuth??? lol worth a try right?

Know I'm not diabetic..remember the hoopla with insurance! You can't be rushing around and being stupid and not ache a heck of a lot..going to do nothing this weekend (other than grass) playing catch up..

When I spoke to mom she was telling me she was at the hospital..major issues with cheekbone, wrist and knee because of her fall..should really go visit her and Jim this weekend for an hour..nice drive to their cottage

Betty, our trip to Frankenmuth will take us about two hours, but we will probably spend the night, then head home the next morning, so we will be looking for a room. I think there are several motels/hotels near the area?

Betty that's not true, she's a RN and works full time 73 hours a week at 41 years old and never thought for 2 seconds that she was sick. Turns out she was almost dead.

You probably should go up there, lol I gotta ask, has she mentioned losing the dog at all?

Said Jim was taking the loss a lot harder than she...spoke to Brian (my nephew) who says they are doing a lot together..I didn't mention it this morning. Was going to ask if they would look after Sailor at Christmas when I go away, little undecided about that just incase I give them the urge to get another!

When something is sent ups does it go to regular post office? So hoped I'd have my quilting frame to play this weekend..it's on this side of the border

UPS usually delivers to the house. Sometimes...they will deliver to the post office, but not if it is a big item.
