And the other two are of him when he came home to Dianne on Saturday. He is such a sweetheart.

He is going to be a big boy....and he has a big job, which I have no doubt he will fulfill with no problem.

oooh just going out for lunch..saw the posting and couldn't resist taking a sec to say just how thrilled I am that Dianne has a new 'bud' Diesel...now we always have a reason for giving names to our pets, hmmm what could Dianne's reason be...didn't fall in a barrel of diesel now did he???? lol

Isn't that just the best!!!

Joyce, is that the garden we went to see where I bought the metal art?? she had so many beautiful things with her, would have love to have filled my car.. can't wait to see the frog! Bet Bertie is putting a lot of work into her yard as well, both of you have fabulous ponds/waterfalls! Loved sitting hear them..
9 hrs.??? You all left early morning though, for us leaving around 1 in the afternoon and it being a long weekend we'll not make as good time...will be there for coffee though..keep an eye on the thread, I'll be posting my whereabouts so you'll have a better idea. Bet those grandaughters are a great help.

Speaking of grandchildren, spoke to Greg this afternoon, he took Kyle's jeep out to be certified, about $1,000, by tomorrow it will be fit for the road..shaking my head!!!!

Judy so sorry to hear you are also having child issues, makes for a rough time.If only they knew what was ahead of them, how important a good education is in life..no different then we, we wouldn't have listened either. As to the trip, yes I've planned each and every hour, goal now is to see just how close we get to it.

Congrats to Sabrina, so few jobs out there she must be thrilled! Isn't this the 3rd year for football camp for Jacob..he's grown into such a man, can't get over it, a sweetie he is!

If I remember correctly, Crissy wanted him to buy the house from her....she wanted to get a smaller more manageable home. Perhaps she was smiling because he got the loan check....

No, that didn't happen. She just wants to be done with it....and too many bad memories there. She is ready for a fresh start.

My membership expired and I had to wait to pay it! ACK!!

Anyway, got through the temporary hearing, now remember it's not permanent, and we are NOT divorced. Dave says he can pay the utility bills on the house, he got fired from his job on purpose, insubordination, and his unemployment has been denied, so to make money he's out mowing lawns, tells me he's broke but goes to the bar every night. Anyway, he says he can pay the utilities on the house AND buy me out. Now I don't make enough to pay the utilities on the house and I know it and, unlike him, have no problems admitting that. So I said fine, we'll turn the water bill over to his name which hasn't been done yet, everything else is already in his name except for insurance, which is in both of our names, and I'll find an apartment. He also said he can buy me out, I about LMAO and choked, I can only get a $50,000.00 loan and I have a job, there's no way he can get a loan with no job.

OOPS! LOL

Anyway, I am very happy with this situation and moved a carload of stuff yesterday evening, will probably go back this evening for more stuff, and I have no idea how I'm going to move my furniture.

You have your head screwed on straight Crissy - you see the situation for what it is and want to move on and make your life better. Congratulations! Some people have trouble moving on. Hope you find an apaartment soon so you can start your new life on your terms.

Yep! In San Antonio last Friday, supposed to find out today if the Acadia is totaled or not.

Afternoon, yikes almost night time, been busy tonight..have a few things to do..

Didn't mention but my friends brother was beaten to death a few weeks ago, his wife was working at the restaurant, he got there at closing, saw a few men pushing her around, told her to leave and lock restaurant door, end result he died..doing a fund raiser so will be attending tonight, had an idea to help raise a few $$..Native Indian, now burried on Christian Island. Some of you who walked the streets of Midland will know where I am speaking of, the country store up the main street where we went..right next door! Family was just starting to get on their feet, community is devastated..


Crissy, how wonderful to see you post. Can't believe how you are keeping your cool, good for you girl, life is too short to worry about the ' might have been ', you've a whole bright future in front of you. From the sounds of it you are making the right choices to get there sooner than later! I find myself going into that limbo from time to time, what if, what if but I've learned through training I just say to myself 'you are not going there and switch it to another happier thought..sure wish you the best!

Yes, the adjuster just called and said it is totaled, there is more than $22,000.00 worth of damage, so now we have to wait maybe 24 hours for the claims department to get in touch and go from there! ^_^

Just got in from Midland, dropped off the 'toonie' painting draw..wont have to cook supper, had pemeal bacon on a bun, all donated, few drops of rain, can count them on my fingers, signed the memory book and home I am!

Checked with mom to see what insurance I'd doing with her van (accident was Monday) and how she is doing, sore and fed up with being an accident waiting to happen! Also wanted to know about service time for my brothers' friend (48)..he was working, sitting at his computer , customer came in and found he had passed on..you know what he was researching online?? Chest pains?? Had filled in part of the data for diagnosis..aren't I bearer of good news??

LindaKay, let's hope you'll be riding in a new vehicle in the next few days with no cost to you, the, off for the sewing machine you were wanting to buy..you must be lst without one?

lol I "released" my ex right away, then his new wife tried to "claim" me as her girlfriend LOL TOO FUNNY!

I don't know what the amount is we will receive, they have to pay off the balance on the Acadia, then we get what is left.

Morning all, didn't get the storms, just enough rain to water the plants, better than nothing.

As for mom, she and Jim were at the cottage, neighbor asked if she wanted to go shopping, mom thought why not as she is just starting to move slowly and hasn't been out shopping in ions..problem was the lady's car was in for repair so they would have to take mom's van. Did their shopping, enjoyed the Mandarin Restaurant, beautiful day!

Traffic was heavy just outside Barrie so the lady took a shortcut then into Oriilia..they were passing the new seniors comp,ex and mom said she would be ok to get a place in it, guess the lady looked up, car in front was turning left, lady didn't see him, reared him, ended up over an embarkment. Rescue got mom out through the window..black and blue again, moving slowly. Now have a rental and back in the city.

So sorry to hear about your Mom and all the other sad news going on in your area. Sometimes it just seems to rain and rain......
I trierd to call Thea last night but didn't get through. Don't know but it could have been our phone that was not right. Been having problems....Hope she and her hubby have survived all these horrible storms. We are due for some this afternoon and evening and that's just when my Dr appt is....Keep your fingers crossed we can drive safely....

Started with a soft rain as I left home this morning, glad I left early because rain was so heavy you couldn't see where you were driving..no hail though so that's a plus.

She is not sure yet what will happen to it..drats she just put in a new airconditing unit in it last weet, over $1,000..like you it could have been much worse. I asked if the lady driving her van had been charged, she police were talking to her but that emergency unit was getting her out of the car and that the lady hadn't said if she would be charged..imagine she would be..

LindaKay so glad your injuries weren't any worse. Hope your recovery is swift and things will be handled quickly for you. It's hard when you are used to going out and getting in your vehicle when you want and than it's not there.

It is so dry here now that there's a burn band on DARN! Our temps have been in the triple digits. A little relief for now.
My SIL and I have taken 44,717# of metal out of here this year. We've loaded 8 large dumpsters. We're exhausted. Should be able to wrap up the stuff auctioneer is taking for sale. The sale will mostly consist of Tubby's tools no household stuff. The sale will be Aug. 12 but not sure where. Will ask and get the info when they come out to finish loading the stuff. SIL and I loaded the windmill, iorn wheels, and big proceilon signs I had from beauty shop. Will get SIL loaded in a day or two and he will head back. I will start going through stuff in house and craft shop and lining stuff up for what I want to move and get rid of. A couple of friends wants to do a garage sale for me. What they don't take for that I will donate or leave.
Just wanted to let you all know I think of you often and wish the best for you all and hope you all enjoy your summer and that you all stay safe and well.

Jacob is back from Football camp, Actually this is the 4th year he has gone...Up and off to practice.
Breenie is pretty happy she got the job, Also hired her for the babysitting job too. she starts the first job tomorrow.

Yesterday, I had help with the Huber project, lol Steve said he wasn't paying her...One of the girls living here. So i said no but your going to pay her time to me!! plus i am only charging for half her time. But I figure, it would have been all that extra time it would have taken me...
