SWEET INTERRUPTIONS # 244

(Barb) Manchester, NH(Zone 5a)

I'd be so afraid of losing the key chain!!!! Do they give you a duplicate?

Franklin, OH(Zone 6a)

Hello all my sistahs! Hope you're all doing well!

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

No duplicate, just one, and on the keychain, it says if this is lost there is a $200.00 minimum charge for replacement!

Bessemer, AL(Zone 8b)

hey sissy, good to see you post. i miss you. just got home and someone had let my jack loose. by the time the law got here, jack came trotting down the road. when he saw me he came running and nocked me over. sherrif said he thinks some stupid kids did it, because of the way jack ran to me he knows that goat didn't leave home on his own

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Glad to hear he is back home!

http://www.gofundme.com/wiegg
they really are struggling to raise the money. but if need be, i will do the right thing and drain my savings

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

I donated. Sure hope she gets more donations.

Bessemer, AL(Zone 8b)

i know you did linda, and thank you

(Barb) Manchester, NH(Zone 5a)

I donated too....

Bessemer, AL(Zone 8b)

thank you so much. i know taynors also donated, made me cry.

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

Kathy, just who are you referring too???? "I thought I knew y'all better, but I was sadly mistaken" That's kind of rude don't you think? Give people a chance to check finances, etc.....so they can make a donation. And that is what I was doing. Getting bills paid etc then seeing if I can afford a donation, some peeps aren't very wealthy!!!!!!

(Pegi) Norwalk, CA(Zone 10b)

My mind is so mixed up right now and heart is so heavy after I received an e-mail from my sister-in-law which I am enclosing.

Our new great grandbaby is doing pretty good right now. I spent about a hour holding her on Sunday. So cute and cuddly. She looks so healthy. She will return to CHOCs on the 2nd of Aug. and have a camera inserted into the groin to see how the heart is developing. If it is not they are putting her on the transplant list right away.
Please keep her in you prayers
.Thanks you all

Carol

Victoria Harbour, ON

Will indeed keep her in my prayers Carol!

As for donating to the family I feel terrible that those who have not given are made to feel as though they have committed a terrible injustice. I for one give to all/anybody who is in need, we've had tragedy within our own community and all donated funds set aside in my monthly allowance has been put to good use with the 2 families involved

Sorry

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

So sorry to hear that Pegi, sending prayers for the family. Keep us posted please?

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

Oh Pegi, so sorry to hear that thoughts and prayers for the "Little One" and family.

Thank You Betty for saying that. That is exactly how I felt by Kathy's remark. I donate funds when I can afford too. Being on SSDI and getting less than $600 a month to live on is not easy.

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

You may not have been speaking to me directly....but you made same remark on FB and I'm on your friend's list there so you were referring to EVERYONE!!!!

i donated but i don't appreciate the remark you made Kathy !! If your angry at God or other people maybe you need some professional help and don't take it out on us !
we are hear for you no matter what is going on, but please talk to us and not have such nasty comments.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Kathy, there are not that many of us on this thread, and most of have made donations as much as we can afford too. Sorry we can't do more, but we all have budget limits.
I have posted that link on facebook, so hopefully she will get more from there too!

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

The adjuster just called and said the Acadia is totaled, there is more than $22,000.00 worth of damage, so now we have to wait maybe 24 hours for the claims department to get in touch and go from there!

(Cindy) Auburn, CA(Zone 10a)

WHOA!! LK that sucks.............so does this mean you will get another new one??? I bet the person who hit you will LOOK where she is going next time. Her insurance is going up for sure.

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Yep, we get a new vehicle!

(Barb) Manchester, NH(Zone 5a)

That is great LK - now you won't need to shop around for the best deal with whatever they give you!!!!

TabacVille, NC(Zone 7a)

Here I am, fully reconnected to the ISP, I hope. The 'real world' was beyond my reach! Sad ain't it, when not able to fully log on, all I do is tend to the garden, read, try to craft and watch the darn tv!!
Where did my reality went? If not for phone calls, think I'll be totally deprived of human interactions! Oh, Kel doesn't count!

Sis Kathy, you have the right to state your opinion without any censorship here, and so do we all. I've had help in researching that little boy's death and here's a link if anyone's interested to know more. http://www.adirondackdailyenterprise.com/page/content.detail/id/532032/Family-of-4-year-old-who-drowned-says-he-loved-to-swim.html?nav=5047

So, that said, I am pretty sure since it's made public, there will be donations that aren't disclosed on Donna's blog.
Moreover it's a known practice with lots of funeral homes that with a hardship case like that, involving a young child, most likely they'd donate their services and casket and just write it off to a tax loss.

Well Sis, being I'm one of "y'all".. this I have to say. Yes, I'm a Christian and I strongly believe that what we cannot do, Jesus will find a way.
Donna also asked for prayers if one cannot contribute, and I am not sorry that is all I can offer for now.
I don't have the luxuries of giving out money that I don't have. I'm supposed to have my bloodwork done on Monday, and again, I have to postpone it, as I don't have the money to do it.
I've already owed my doctors $$$$ and it's a struggle for us to feed ourselves and the menagerie of rescues.
We can't help everyone on this earth, no matter how bad we'd like to.
God does provide, but He also wants me to make good choices.
Thus said, He's already making a way for Dominic to have the proper burial.
Sorry, that I'm airing out my laundry here, but I forgive you for those words.
I'm sad that you've condemned me for not helping, but I know you as being impulsive, sometimes have a hard time to separate your emotions from reality.

We will not broach this subject anymore. It's closed.. finished... and I'll start a new room.
A new page and a new 'atmosphere' and the old love between us sistahs will continue.
