Yes, Marilyn...it's always something with these old houses! We'll be glad to have it behind us. The grandkids will enjoy watching the machinery lift up the shingles onto the roof. They love big construction vehicles. :). I can't wait to have them here again. They make me feel like a kid again.

What a mess he made! A bear has been getting into my son's garbage for a few weeks.....when I spoke to him last night, he said the whole family camped out in a tent in the backyard Sat. night......just the place I would have chosen....NOT!

Glad we don't have bears, groundhogs and voles are enough for me.
I'm seeing more beatles than I have ever seen in my yard year this year grrrrrrrr.....

Wife was detoured this AM due to a double fatal accident on rt 6. Though very scenic, I hate that road. Twisty and hilly and no divider. One car went into the oncoming lane and hit the other one head-on. Both drivers died.

A pack of Coyotes was yipping yesterday morning about 10 am. They dont normally yip unless its dark. They must of got a kill?

both kids are spending the night, my son was there all weekend but my daughter had a princess party yesterday she didn't want to miss

There is a day camp on one of the back roads...sheesh I've never seen so much traffic trying to get in and out of there

Awful about the accident.....here in CT, 15 workers at a golf course were sheltering in a hut when the storm broke...hut was hit by lightning, & 7 injured....still evaluating some of them.....
