Terriers will go after them too,or Wall-e

Anyone else's dog blowing their coat like CRAZY?

Thomaston, CT

Suey has such short hair it's hard to see unless she sits on your lap...then the white hair shows on the dark, black hair on the light.....I'm trying to get her to drink more....she never drinks much water, so I'm feeding her ice chips....

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

Sampson (Maine Coon) is blowing his coat - my other cats are short-haired so it is hard to tell.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

UGH I have to brush Wall-e EVERY morning with the Furminator, my next dog Chinese Crested....of course hubby says our next dog is NONE

Thomaston, CT

Mine said that after we lost each dog, but loved the new ones......I'm getting one that has to be clipped rather than sheds......however, don't know when that will be!

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

my guys don't shed.. it is a plus

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

oh geeze.. LOL

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

OMGoodness he's a cutie!! Look how big he's gotten already!!!!!!!!!

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

Wow - is he big!

(Ronnie), PA(Zone 6b)

Already 45 lbs. and 22'' tall! He's good, very smart and listens well.
He does have his moments though!

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

WOW! Moments....Cyrus has a few...if I leave him for any period of time. Last night we got a baby sitter for him so we could go out to eat w/relatives. He still chewed my flip-flop and shredded some paper, the sitter was stumped as to how and when he did it. I said..."Did you use the bathroom when we were gone? He's smart...he waited until you were in there."

And people say dogs don't think? Suey is thinking all the time! Winston is so handsome! The woman I adopted Robs from asked me if I was ready for another....not yet......

I love the "pillowpet" photo, it looks like he's giving that Clint Eastwood "squint-stare" that says, "I Dare Ya!"

Of course they think. They are descended from animals that made their living by hunting in groups. If a wolf doesn't think about when to hide, when to chase, when to be quiet and when to howl to get help, it's going to go hungry.

True.....but Suey's thinking is "When am I going for a ride? a walk? and is she parting with that snack?"

Durhamville, NY(Zone 5b)

Mine is : Are we going for a ride please, please, please. There's a pan in sink I'd really really like to lick.

Thomaston, CT

Cute! They all have very different personalities....

My late german shepherd:

Thomaston, CT

I can relate!

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Hubby got bit by a French Bulldog on the arm on the way OUT of a customer's house, asked him if he got proof the dog had it's rabies shots, he's like "ah no, I just wanted to get out of there" Well you better find out tomorrow!!!

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

wonderful

Fairfield County, CT(Zone 6b)

Jen - is his tetnus shot up to date? (Hubbys - not the dogs!)

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Probably not, he had to make sure they were up to date when he was a fireman but it's been almost 8 years

Thomaston, CT

I think it's every 10 years for tetanus.....French bulldogs can be nippy....my vet had one....

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Yes just looked it up it is every 10 but have no idea when he got the last one, hubby is like "I knew I never like the French" LOL

LOL !!!

Huron, OH(Zone 5b)

DD had a fish die yesterday.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

What color?

Huron, OH(Zone 5b)

yellow

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Why did the color matter?

Kids want another batch of fish, I told them when they take care of the tank themselves we'll get more cause I am NOT doing it

Thomaston, CT

Yep....love the fish, hate cleaning the tank....therefore, no fish...ever!

Huron, OH(Zone 5b)

these fish are visiting for the summer. they go back to school with DD and her roomates.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

The cat will love them!

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

my sister with the pet store in OH.. gave me these shoo tags for the dogs.. they claim the magnetic strip keeps fleas & ticks off the dogs.. looks like a tiny credit card.. I see they have a mosquito one for people too.. Ronnie might be worth a shot since you don't like the spray... the only problems I am finding.. they are kind of big for a yorkie... and it's supposed to face the dogs skin.. and the ring on the collar keeps flipping back and fourth.. might have to have the mechanic fix it

:)

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

I figured it out... I put the ring the came with .. on the collar fabric.. and not the ring you would clip the leash too

(Ronnie), PA(Zone 6b)

Allison that looks interesting. Have you used them before?

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

no just put them on today
