Was just thinking how absolutely blessed I am with friendship! Thing is, my friends by association become their friends. Lol

She hasn't been well for months, always something, think she is trying to put a brave front on for everyone and her body is saying ' you must deal with it'! We talked a bit this morning, hard few weeks coming up, anniversary of Mike's death and Mike's birthday..said she was talking to DD Melissa this morning who was having a real difficult day..the want to celebrate his life in a special way and she came up with getting balloons for all visiting, give them a marker to write their innermost thoughts and let them rise to the sky. She is being brave!!

It is not always easy beong the "best friend" is it? I like the idea of the balloons. It is simple but meaningful.
Please let her know I'm praying for her still.

I won't know about a rehab schedule until after I meet the lady on Friday.

Have you been having difficulties keeping out of mischief..sewing although low key still takes quite a bit of energy..hope it's work a bit and sew a bit!

Thankfully when one is having a bad day the rest of us put our cares away and offer support where we can. Darlene called to check up on me this morning, said she had been up all night coughing and was going back to bed..

Aline's dad is very I'll, been spending time in the hospital, Lordy he just turned 98 yesterday, still, she had time to go to town, meet up with Ann and bring her a cabinet which wouldn't fit in Ann's car..then Ann, she goes and picks up my shrubs, June she goes over to see how Pat is doing and on and n and on..guess it makes everyone feel like they are helping the other.

Betty - get lots of rest please! Ann is being brave, and I love the idea of sending the balloons with messages to the sky..... Guess keeping busy is what Ann needs, and I can SO appreciate that. It's often good for the soul to take yourself out of your situation, and put yourself into helping others as Ann is with you, and June & Pat...... they all "do" for one another. It's true discipleship......
