Hi sistahs, I'm having internet connection problem. Begun last night, had 2 hours of non service. Each time there's bad weather... those with dial up accts. suffer.
Right now it's running, but at 44kbps. Earlier it's at 16!!
Can't open another window definitely.

Sue, you know your DD is all about herself. Then if she has no consideration for you that keeps bailing her out, maybe she's doing you a favor by disappearing. I have faith that she won't do anything to harm herself. Sounds like her BF is in cahoots. Let go and let God sistah.

Cindy, I can't wait to see what you got blooming this year for you.
I'm all anxious to start a straw bale vege garden, might be a late summer harvest, but I'll definitely will be having eggplants this year.

I AM OVER THE MOON WITH GOOD NEWS ABOUT MY SISTER!!!
My Sister went to the oncologist today, and what they thought was cancer Isn't! He said she has No Cancer!. She'd been treated for cancer for 16 years and has had 3 lung surgeries to remove cancerous lumps. Then, when she thought it was pretty much treated, they found something growing and said "your cancer is back and growing". Well, guess what? It started to shrink and cancer Doesn't shrink without treatment (and she wasn't on treatment) so it's an infection or inflammation and they're sending her to a respiratory Dr to see what it is. Praise The Lord!!!

PRAISE THE LORD is right! So glad to hear that great news!!!

I got my lotto ticket, when I left the store it was up to $640 million!! I would be happy getting just 5 of the numbers, still would be a huge amount. Picked up some Dinner Plate Dahlias, Peaches and Cream, Firebird and Thomas Edison which is a dark purple.

OH - you got the package? GREAT!! The cross is yours, m'dear - It symbolizes the United Church Of Canada, which is what I belong to - the congregation is Renfrew United Church, but we don't have a symbol for that.
I didn't remember putting fabric in......... what's it look like - could you post a pic? It may have just been the wrapping? If that's the case, then do with it as you will.

The fabric is white stars on blue... thanks again. I sure can use it for any patritotic blocks. I have lots of white stars on red, but not blue.

ah yes Jaye - now I remember putting the navy blue fabric with the stars in....... I have so much of it - tiny stars, small stars, dark dark navy blue, and medium navy blue....... I have some where the stars look yellow and other where they look almost white. Not much of each, but still enough to say I have lots!
I guess the patriotic stars on blue is the reason I sent it. My memory ain't all that good LOL

Off to a wet day today and a tolerable high 70s.
Think we're into summer! So that means watering the plants everyday, unless God chose to give me a break.

Well fiddle sticks I only got one number here and there on the lotto. Someone in Maryland won the big one. Just what California needed was for someone out of state to win it, not fair!!!!

Web are having high winds and showers off and on today. I am going to be working in "craft room" YAY!!! Got rid of enough stuff, now I can start putting my stuff away. Going to paint some flower pots, want to get as many done as possible so that when the weather is good for a few days I can work on the front yard. I laid down cardboard and black weed paper, then will cover with plants, stepping stones, etc. Still trying to figure out a design I have two small above ground fish ponds I want to do something with, hmmmmmmmmmmm????

Well ended up going through more stuff, all dressers have been emptied (6 all together) a trunk that I just went thru real quick and glad I did found a bunch of sterling silver and turquoise jewelry ^_^. There is still a closet to go thru but I am not going to!!! I have enough room now to set up my room.

Elephant Stew
1 med size Elephant
salt
pepper
rabbit (optional)
Cut elephant into small bite size pieces. This will take about two months. Add enough brown gravy to cover, cook over a kerosene fire about 4 months at 465. The will serve about 3800 people, if more are expected the rabbit may be added but only if necessary as most folks don't like hare in their stew.

ladies i have some bad news to share with you
my oldest DD was murdered .
she was killed by her boyfriend . They caught him and the other 4 that were involved they are all in jail and will be sentanced to death.
please pray for her sole. i know God will have Mercy on her , i won't be on much.
its just to much to bare.

Thank GOd that the Lord helped catch him. The boyfriend was really stupid !!! he was using his cell phone the whole time and that is how the caught him by the GPS in his phone LOLLLL duh !!! Thank you God !

Sue, I'm just now reading about this. I'm so very sorry for your loss. Be comforted knowing that the Lord knew of your daughter's limitations and maybe this was His way of protecting her.
She is safe, whole and pain free and happy now. Nobody can hurt her again and she can be cherished in your heart knowing you did what you could for her. God bless you and your family Sue and keep you close in HIs care. Someday we may understand........

I guess there were a lot us who couldn't sleep last night. Sue, I have never had the pleasure of meeting you but I feel like I know you so well. Please know that she is in a better place. Also we are here with love, hugs and prayers.

Morning Ladies,

I talked w/ Sue for about an hour this morning.
She's staying busy in the GH and coping as well as possible I guess.
We offered to drive up but she declined for now.
Probably take us up on it when the trail gets going.
Told her we're on 24 hour call and can be there in 2 hours or so if needed.
Robyn offered to come up and stay w/ her if Tim needs to go out of town.
Talked to Tim also and told him the same thing.
So rest assured you distant ones she is being watched over w/ Love.

Right now it's just Time and Talking.
She knows she's surrounded by Loving Friends

Thanks for letting us know about Sue. I can only imagine what she must be going through at this time. I would imagine, could be wrong also, that she is in a state of denial or just out and out shock. Reality will come unfortunately and that is when she is really, really going to need all of us.

Again thanks and give her a hug for me please.

She's pretty realistic about where she is currently and knows it won't get any better,
knows it will get worse when the Media get a hold on this thing.

Best thing is Sue knows she needs to talk and is doing that.
Not holding anything back and not blaming herself.
We cried, laughed, and just sighed a lot, even talked Plants a bit.
Denial is gone, Anger, Emptiness and Sadness were what I heard.
Plus she has been looking into support groups, at least in passing.


What I am doling out here will not be repeated in any other Group.
Having met many of you I know how tight you Ladies are.
You are her Rock, I know that and she knows I do.
I asked her about telling you and got her blessing.

It is so good she is talking. Just so hoping and praying she isn't going to be subjected to the horrible things the media can/will do---sometimes there needs to be a ling drawn for the sake of other. Having said that, I know she will be but thankfully will have many of us going through this with her. That of course is my opinion.

Ric, I can't find enough words or enough hands to applaud you and Robyn for your caring nature.
As with Cookie, you've extended yourselves above and beyond for Sue.
You must have known the anguish we feel as logistics make it impossible to give her our all.
Thank you both so much for stepping up and making sure she knows that she's very much thought of at this time.
Getting her to talk is the start to healing. Thank you Ric and Robyn.
As for the media, it will be hard for the family having to relive how Jessie died. Jessie's innocent in this matter, and I'm sure the focus will be on those killers.
Perhaps with Sue joining a support group will help her coping mechanism for the trials to come.

Yes Marion. What you see is what you get with Sue. Nothing pretentious, a truly genuine person.
I fell in love with her and her precious twins at Cookie's Reunion.
That goes for Ric and Robyn too! And Crissy.. and Betty.. and Bertie.. and Judy's kids.. you should have been there!!

I called her at an inappropriate time. She's at the funeral home making arrangements.
