Hello To All.... Betty so glad you got some answers... glanced at "bev" and dragonfly and thought you were talking about our Bev... LOL.... I need to learn to read not scan.....

Laura - Cars ! YAY! Haven't seen it yet myself... but love anything Disney. Bev are those Daffodils? Got to check the ones I planted in Oct and they look like a flower is coming up... hope so... will be my first. Crissy we'll probably get your rain tomorrow... been gorgeous all week of course we've been inside with our work project.

It's OVER YAY ! I felt so free... finished up around 3p today then came home and played hooky....

Work "normal" tomorrow hopefully then a rainy weekend.

I am here Mary, been busy day. Not looking forward to the weekend. So much to do to get ready for next week....and six weeks of anticipated...issues. Getting the materials hopefully to rebuild front porch steps and back porch railings this weekend.

We went from mid 60s yesterday.....to rain and mixed rain tonight with 36 degrees....and tomorrow snow! Next week they are talking upper 60s again. They were talking on news how bad allergies....and fleas/insects are going to be this year! Lovely!

Haven't talked to Dianne today, she has a wicked headache still as of last night.

Oh Deb.... Re Fleas? Belle is covered. Hubs mowed/sprayed yard, bombed house, washed/vacuumed and bathed Belle last Sunday while we gals were at Baby shower... and she is already covered again. Yes - this will be a real problem this year.....

YOU aren't building the porch, right? Hubs and Shane maybe? Is this the week long college break coming up?

I'm in a good mood just because I made it through this week... and hubs is foul. will just stay away. wish I had something more immediate to look forward to. By the way Deb... I LOVE and really look forward to all your cutie posts on FB......

Mary, thank you...they are little "threads" that I subscribe too, and they just have the cutest sayings and pictures. I have done a couple of my own, but nothing like theirs! I have a friend, Jody, who is dealing with breast cancer....and so is her mom. She looks for those every day, so I try and keep up some new ones for her.

We have a big front porch, and well, the steps are worn out. Up here they are a heavy thick wood. With me on crutches was bad enough....but with DH having surgery Wednesday, and on crutches for first time since high school...the are not in great shape. SO, that is the project for DH and Shane. The back porch just needs new hand rails going down the steps.

Yes, Shane gets picked up tomorrow afternoon and is home for 10 days. Apparently he has already called the bar and asked to have "work hours" for a couple days.....that is good and bad. He isn't happy with me as I told him he is needed at home and to help whenever possible.

So glad you made it through the week....but maybe it is the full moon that has DH in "a mood".

I've not been very happy with DS.... but had a Good long talk with him today... nothing negative... just talking... hoping that helps.
Yes - definitely get the steps right... would not be good for either of you to take a tumble after all you are going through. Hubs and I LOVE front porches...somehow ended up with a house without one....

I'm sure you've checked to see if the SIL's can help too... hope you get a lot done in the next few days....Yes - the Full Moon! Maybe LK's Heather will go into labor tomorrow afternoon and have the baby 3/10 in the morning... Dianne's Dad's bday... and DS Brock will turn 20 on Saturday. I will try to take the family (less DSD1, Plus DSGF) out for their fav on tomorrow night or Sat night. Sushi LOL.... Have a nice lunch tomorrow I am looking forward to... 3 GF's... one had a bday 3/5 and I was busy with work... so belated.

Looks like spring outside... iris blooming, honeysuckle, a banana bloom... orange trees. Praying it doesn't freeze ! Think I lost a brug and the lady banks rose doesn't look so hot.

I can't believe it is early March, my daffs are up with big blooms ready to open...bet by the next 60 degree day they will pop. They usually aren't ready til end of April....beginning May at the earliest!! I am seeing green shadows on the trees, which means their leaves are going to be early also. The strange thing Mary, my mind just went totally blank what I was going to say....lol....OK, its back the lady bugs are out already in full force!

I can't depend on shane for anything...he is in a bad place right now mentally. Sure hope it changes. As said before DH is no use with that situation.

Have a wonderful time at lunch tomorrow and for the weekend out. I don't think I would be a fan of sushi. My daughter eats...kimshee? Rice, fish rolled in seaweed type...and she loves it. No thanks!!!

When ever Heather goes....I hope it is an easy delivery and that little guy is healthy. He has given his mama too many scares already.

Wow Deb.. it's amazing to me that your Daff's may bloom before mine.. maybe that's why I don't see them here that often.. they may bloom best up north ? I don't see many lady bugs but excited when I do... I may buy some this year at The nursery... I do love them and they eat mosquitos. "They" say that Disneyworld lets thousands of them out to eat the mosquitos and I believe that because I've never had a mosquito bite at WDW.

The "Boys" can sure get in a bad place from time to time... I know with DS....Girls seem so much more motivated to plan their lives... the boys just get in a funk... DS finally got the tires on his car today with tax money (and Christmas money) so 1 down 2 to go with the latest "Nagging" im having to do.
Lunch tomorrow is Italian... Dinner will be Sushi (or saturday night... whichever DS wants... ) Hubs doesn't eat sushi either so will get him something from the Japanese menu....
I can't tell you all how happy I am to have this week over with... NEVER AGAIN !

It sounds like it was a very very rough week for you. Has "that woman" calmed down at all and gotten off your back?
You would think after the others left and gave her the bad report...she would get the hint. Some people you can hit over the head with a shovel and they still don't know!

Well, I think I need to turn into bed early. Was up at 4:30, then 6:30....and still didn't get a quick nap. Lots of running/groceries etc. to do tomorrow also for the weekend.

Get some rest!! ANd just think...tomorrow is FRIDAY!!!

With Dianne, Susan and Mary's son birthday, surely Dylan will have same birthday..

So quiet here today, stayed in bed until 7am..(trying to be good) Cathy dropped in to check on me and spent an hour..had a nurse come in to check blood pressure as per Dr. Jilesen..lowering, so that is good....

Had a few bookings for Paul before 9am so that was a plus..now telephones are quiet...taking advantage of just sitting..foiling nuggets for the piece I'm working on..other than that doing zilch!!

Well, I am still here. Went to get out the door.....had just been out 20 minutes earlier and nice and green. NOT SO anymore! Betty & Dianne sent it over here...and it won't stop. No more green in site, and a very heavy snow.

Soon as the snowplow goes down the road, I will be brave and go out. Don't know why I am so chicken, have driven in this much much worse the last 30 years!

Betty, so glad a nurse is taking care of you and stopping in to check. THAT is a step in the right direction for sure!

DH will hopefully put new kitchen sink in this weekend. It has been sitting there for 2 weeks. If it was not so heavy I would try my hand at plumbing.

Laura, amazing what one will try when they are tired of waiting for it to be done..I've one to put in the washroom and still waiting for my brother..thoughts are to call and say it has to be done within the week if not looking for a contractor...I always try to hire him but not always does it work out..I get put to bottom of the work list! Let's hooe you get it done this weekend..

Debbie don't fret, just a front passing by, stopped here and sunshine came out..now snowing ever so lightly and clouding over...keep smiling, almost at the end of it.

Still no Dylan, she has been in labor, but her contractions go to about 10 minutes apart, then stop, then start again! Poor girl must be so tired all the time! I told her we all had bets on what days he will arrive! She thought it was funny!

Look at the pretty fabrics I just got in the mail. I won them from windham fabric off of facebook!

Snow has stopped for a bit, thank goodness because we've quite a wind...would be blizzard city.

Considering going to town once 3 rolls around, pick up Chinese and supplies for muffins so that I've something to offer the girls coming for soap class tomorrow. Then, quiet night.. Friday nights sure aren't like they once were..you would work all week so that Friday night you would be out for supper/dance or a show..

It might make a cute baby quilt? LOL!

My daffs border the outside of the front flowerbeds so I leave them there. Dave's worked the past 2 weekends and since he spent $300 on a case of wine I don't think we'll be doing much. It's supposed to rain 3-5 inches on Sunday and it just rained 4 inches yesterday so everything is sopping wet. I think I'm going to dig up my canna's tomorrow and plant my grape tomatoes, hope it's not too cold still, it did freeze last night a little, not enough to make a frost on the grass but the rain froze on my car.

CRISSY a CASE of wine? What time should we all be there? I can leave in the morning. Isn't it too early for tomatoes? cuz if not... I'm going to 'copy you' and plant some tomorrow too.... Yes - Hubs, DS, DSgf and DSD2 and I all went for Sushi tonight for DS 20 bday (tomorrow). He says he is taking GF to Audubon Zoo and Aquarium in New Orleans tomorrow for their bday (she is 3/3). Deb - if you like crabmeat and/or shrimp I bet Crissy and I could find some sushi you would love. Maybe not Betty.... not much sushi without seafood.

Betty & Deb... Witchy Poo has been obviously nicer since the 2 gals quit and blabbed on her. I have basically avoided her. I have plans. And with my plans I am no longer as nervous because I no longer care if "they" like me anymore...and without being nervous ironically I think that makes them value me/like me more? crazy.

Jean... Love the blooms! We have some... trying to enjoy but worried. Think we'll still have one more freeze. Have a rose, iris, banana is blooming strangely enough... new honeysuckle from the swap... a coral one... still in the pot. snapdragons, dianthus, pansies. I never realized how much they spread but I'm new on winter annuals....think I might have been 'weeding' a few out ! LOL
Deb - hope you get some good weather so you all can get the steps built/fortified.

I have had a busy day, came home with intent to watch Ellen at 4:00, sat down and remember nothing! Woke up at 5:30 with DH & DS coming in the back door. That said, he put his things upstairs and has been gone since. I see a pattern here and not liking it.He is supposedly at Kyles for the night. Honestly of all the places he could be...I feel safer with him at Kyles.

The weather is horrific again, very very strong winds blowing out there and I no longer care for it. Never bothered me before but since the storm door issue....I haven't been happy!

DH is totally exhausted, he had a horrible time driving home from Cananadaigua with driving into the wind gusts on the NY Thruway. Normally takes 1 hr. 40 minutes....tonight was 2 hr 10 minutes and he looked beat. Went to bed at 9:00.

Mary I would try sushi if it was cooked. I love seafood, but I have so many allergies anymore it scares me to try new things.

Glad you had a good night with the family....and yes T G I F for sure! It is going to be a really busy weekend, so Hope I can stay caught up.

Love having you as my sis Mary! My sis passed in 2006 and I sure miss her. No Warren is NOT eating. I am lucky if I can get 500 calories a day into him. He is basically sleeping the clock around. He gets so cranky with himself when he does sleep because he wants to be up but when he does get up he is dozing off in the first 10 min.

Headache is a bit better tonight. I will call a doc on Monday if it is still severe. Just don't know which doc to call - one of the specialists or our GP. Think I will start with our P.

OK Dylan Marley you can come any time now.

Need to help my guy move in the bed. If I am not back tonight I hope you all have a great weekend.

Mary, I am so sorry that happened....but we are right behind you. Today is "intervention day" and its not going to end well I feel, much the same as yours. BIG hugs

Betty, sun is out shining and cold, but no ice at all. Snow is gone and DH will do the steps. The cold doesn't bother him, and after measuring it most can be "built" in the basement and moved out to the porch with help of carrying.

You keep it slow, don't like that dizziness at all. I hope the nurse follows up with you more....and you need to TELL HER these symptoms / issues so she can report tot he doctor and that will help them know what is going on.

I hope you all have a better day......and enjoy some sunshine I hope, even if it is cold outside, sit in window / sunbeam, and get some sunshine!

Dianne, so sorry to hear your head aches are so bad. Please call your Dr, and get some test done! Sorry to hear about Warren not eating? Does he have a feeding tube, maybe that will help some? And I know this is illegal in most places, but has he tried to smoke some, (lets say) herb? It really does help the cancer patients with their appetite? My friend that is going through chemo right now tried it, and it really helps her.

Dianne, so sorry Warren is having trouble eating...that leads to a snowball effect....needs more protein, and nothing tastes right...this link has a number of appetite stimulants that are approved for cancer patients

We had a fun morning, lots of laughs and all went home with bags of soap..we sure have no excuse for being smelly!!!

this is where I am at with Julie's stained glass window..will try to cut a few more piece..think I'll cut some glass and use the kiln..a few maroon circle might look nice incorporated in what I have so far..

My day plans have gone down the tube, schuedule is way off as DH got called into work, something broke and he is on call. We need the OT and he couldn't say No anyway as "he is on call" this weekend.

Going to run out and get his crutches and DSs allergy meds.

Mary, go find something to fill in your day, something you would never spend $$$ on..won't fill the gap but will help fill in the day..likely he is hurting as much and you are...will do him good though..won't take long for him to see just how much you do for him..

Debbie isn't that always the way, plan a project and work calls..to or row is another day, perhaps temps will be warmer for Paul to tackle the project.

Omg Pat came in this morning with a baby quilt she just finished..love it! Her husband does stained glass..we were at the studio last Saturday and I was rambling about mom wanting a piece..didn't he go and make a lovely window piece -butterflies....never ceases to amaze me just how giving people are.

Must go take photo of both pieces for you

Thanks for supportive words on this piece..am trying to figure out how I'll do dragonfly,if I will leave him free flying..think more work in designing the piece than making it.

Quite the day, have a parcel to open...windchime swap..keeping looking at the box and savoring thoughts of what might be inside. Also have envelopes with patterns I ordered using strips..think I'll take my time, look at them, ohh and ahhh at what is in the box I've to open then have a quick nap. All the furries seem to be doing the napping thing...
