Starting to snow and blow, think Debbie sent it back to me and you! Would be nice for the kids Laura if it was a wet snow so they can build a snowman.

Yes it would be nice to wake-up to alot of snow at least one time this winter.
Think we need another computer..both the younger kids have school work via computer.
Bed is on order should be here next week.
Passport apt. this coming Friday.

Mary I just went out and wrapped the pipes, the hibbies are all cut down to the ground so they'll be fine. Supposed to get 16* here tonight. We're going to get an ice storm on Monday, I'm hoping and praying it starts at about 3am but it's looking like 10am will be the time, drats drats and more drats I'll have to be at work at 8:30 to turn right around and come home. I hope Dave doesn't ignore this crap like he usually does, supposed to get freezing rain from about 10am through 9pm. He said, "But by the time I get off work, 3:30pm, it will have been driven on all day and therefore won't be slick." Not if it's constantly coming down like they say and the news just said we're supposed to get 3 inches of ice, you can't drive on that. I work 40 mins away from home and Dave works 35 mins away from home and we both drive the same direction. I don't get off work til 5 but if it starts this crap I'm outta there!

If the ice warning is on could you not stay home..got to say ill drive in any condition but stay put when freezing rain. From what. I remember you saying they are pretty horrific..stay home, be safe!

Greg called, needs something done to snowmobile pants before leaving for his trip..making beef jerky in the morning, needs my slicer..can he come over early? Around 9 or so..he calls that early!!

Wow, those are some cold temps! Nothing like that here. It has been about 40 or so at night, but gets back to about 55 to 75 during the day.

Did you here Whitney Houston died? I am just kind of shocked, she had such a hard life with stardom and drugs. So sad at 48!

A lady at the Gala told us about Whitney Houston. how very sad. Crissy - sounds like we are having similar weather ...mine not as cold as yours but plenty cold.... The Hibbies I cover up are tropicals... they don't die down to the ground... so wondering if you are talking of Mallow Hibbie (like Shirley has) or Texas Star ?

No Mary, I think the child has the flu. DS is recovering somewhat and feeling better.

It has been a day of bad news here.

First of all my great nephew Amarey is 5 months old, and in Children's Hospital. He hasn't been 100% since he was born and doctors finally did an MRI. Found he has a very large cyst in his brain, and also a "mid line" portion is missing. His eyes are also having some major issues and not formed right in the "sensing" parts so will most likely have very bad vision problems. Also having trouble keeping his blood sugar stable, so are testing to see what else is going on.

THEN, we got a called from DH's oldest sister, whom I was friends with BEFORE I knew DH even, (not the one I was bad mouthing last night) that she was diagnosed with breast cancer yesterday. Will be having a lumpectomy and radiation and lymph node checks the next couple weeks. She has two kids, age 21 and 18...however the 18 has a bit of asburgers & autisum. She is a sweetheart of a woman.

It is down to 16 here, we had about six inches snow...and more expected tonight but not a large amount.

OH Debbie.... I am so sorry. There is so much they can do now in medicine... I'm hoping that all turns out for the best.....

I've never gotten the flu shot... and never had the flu.... do you all ever do that? just wondering with "the childs" medical history... if they would recommend that...

I say that but again you know medical stuff WAY more than me... Sure hope she feels better soon.

Well, we had a cold front come through early this morning and we have freezing rain. High temp for today is only 37!
