Morning all, no snow, still in seasonal weather but I'll take it... Weatherman saying foggy but cold front coming my way..tomorrow bit of rain/snow mix.

I keep shutting the alarm and wanting to sleep in till last minute..maybe it's all that has gone on past while that is taking its tole..that or body finally saying like it or not you are sleeping in late.

Debbie how did the child make out at the doctor's? Oooh you should have made PT for later so you too could sleep in.

Mary what did the pulmanist say?

Barb, hope you get more answers today.

Yikes, Burke who is Olympic skier and is from Midland here, took a fall in Utah, in a coma..prayers for her please.

She is 21 now, doesnt' need a Peds doctor, but I think she has burned yet another bridge with her attitude.

Busy busy ... Seed catalogs are in ya know. LOL The weather has been so pretty, I've started playing in the dirt with some house plants just for the feel of it.

Oh Mary, so sorry about the football game. I'm another that doesn't watch it but understand about the economy that surrounds it. Hope you get some news about that cough soon.

Debbie, yuck on getting up early for PT. It's raining here. The DH took Moses out for his early constitution so I wouldn't have to get wet. Sweet man!

You know, in all the years I've worked on this job I've met and been in contact with a client that just rubs me the wrong way..more than demanding, rude to say the least..get her through the system so that will be the end of her..know she is under pressure financially but doesn't help NOT to be nice..

Oh Betty ... I have to slap my hand ... I drool over tomatoes. Can you believe that? I also love Logees. They have wonderful fragrant flowers. I shop the on-line catalogs. That's what I do ... go to all the on-line sites. I love to grow heirloom tomatoes. In fact, we had 3 little tomatoes for supper last night. First time I ever had garden fresh tomatoes in January. This weather has been so mild this year. I picked all the green ones, and they're getting ripe on the table. ☺

It took an hour, but my angel-coworker stayed long enough to see me started and comfy in my car before he left work......
I let it run another 5 min, and then drove 20 minutes home.
An hour later (after supper, etc) I left for my meeting, and the car was Fiiiiiine! started like a dream!

Ohhh Suse, sure got a kick out of those photo's..especially that of you and Moses..don't know who enjoyed the birthday more you or Moses..

Got to tell you NO MORE going downstairs for western in the a.m. or going shopping in Zellers because I have to pass the pet store and they have 4 kitties having a time of their life..there is one in particular, looks like my Riley but has a 1/2 inch trip across the eye and right down his forehead..others are completely black, would soooo love to bring one home lol

Susan, big hug for your co-worker..amazing how fast a battery dies down..I'd have been concerned shutting the vehicle off at your Church meeting just incase...guess Bob would have been on call then.

My car is sitting here wanting me to get off the computer and play. LOL We can't go for a walk because it's been raining and is too wet. Guess I'll go play "Kong" for a bit. I've been looking at maters far too long. The shipping charges are what keeps me from ordering ... $5 for 4 pkg of seeds. *shaking my head*

Oh Betty ... go for it gal! It's a proven fact that people with pets live longer and are healthier and happier!! ☺

I'm only less than a mile (1km) from the church, so could have walked home. Bob's diesel..... dunno if he could have jump-started me.....

After the 4.5 months of testing, I am finally having my gall bladder removed next week. Dr says 3-5 days in hospital - hope I can use Ipad there!!!!

Will will be saying prayers for a speedy recovery Barb.

Long day today, very busy....and going to have another tomorrow. Back to Derm. to get my "wound" checked and DS also has a check up there before school starts. Then "dorm room" shopping for supplies and college items. I can't believe we are doing to 8 days. Sigh.

Had lunch with DH today, and looks like we will again tomorrow as DS wants to have lunch with dad!

Betty, how is the weather over there? Weather liars are saying we are both going to get hit....and Dianne also. Sure praying it holds off until late tomorrow night. Too much traveling to do.

Deb - I'm still looney and loopy... I skipped my morning dose and still felt funny today... BUT ....
I'm not coughing as much.... Dr. said I could 'play' with dosage so gonna try that...Betty that Dr. was the pulmonist..gave me this new medicine.

Oh Deb... so will you be Empty Nesters exception being "the Child" ? goodness !

Suse - you and Moses are TOO CUTE ! I'm jealous that you are playing in dirt already.... and Tomatoes? How? greenhouse?

We had a record high yesterday... 79 degrees! But tomorrow I'll have to cover the hibbies... down to 20s...

Mary, yes...and I am NOT looking forward to it. You know DS is the one that keeps me together except for his "hormonal outbursts" once in awhile. NOTHING like dealing with the child.

Talked to one of the docs about me going to find a job, he said "I don't think your there yet, but soon". I know he is right...but I didn't like hearing it.

Oh Deb.... I know you're not at 100% yet but if you could only find a GOOD job... one that you could enjoy... that might be just the thing to keep "TC" from aggravating you and DS off your mind....as much while he's at school....

Maybe go into business for yourself as a Home Health nurse/caregiver.... or something with children...

Children? I am allergic to children!!! Severe rash...itching and headache. I am SURE of it as there were a couple in Target today that just
made me head for the hills! lol

Most of the kids in this neighborhood I babysat from newborns to Preschool age. Don't think I could do the lifting right now...but wouldn't mind the snuggling and the fun part.

Might apply as an Aide up in the Rehab center where I was. They need help feeding and working with the patients who have no family to help them. Not sure what training I would need.

OK, I am off to bed....up early for the Vet and then back to Rochester with Shane.

For those of you that know Faye/dahtzu... Update on Faye...

Faye called this evening and what follows breaks my heart and is among the saddest news I've ever had to relay in my life.

Ray wasn't able to go home Monday, and Faye has been by his side at the hospital since last Friday. She's exhausted getting home around 11 PM, falls into bed, and gets up one more day to be with him. There's no easy way to say this, Ladies. Ray has congestive heart failure and a Cardiologist is monitoring his heart; a Nephrologist is monitoring Raye's only kidney; and a Pulmonologist has been called in to monitor Ray's shortness of breath. Since he's so very ill and weak, another surgery Friday is doubtful.

Those of you who haven't had an opportunity to meet Faye and Ray, they are truly soul mates who have a rare, deep, abiding love for each other, and a strong faith. Please keep them in you thoughts and pray as hard as you ever have for Ray.

LK - thank you for sharing - I will surely pray for Ray & Faye, although I've never met them, I understand what you mean about love & faith........

Laura, prayers and Happy thoughts for your little guy...Have they considered "panic attacks" ? My youngest had them !! and he had some strange symptoms......

Sailor graduates Friday !! we leave tomorrow morn. Soldier here, going to go to graduation too, then home from there :) & :(
graduation good thing, soldier and family going back home makes me sad....I had to work a lot of the time they were here, as I got surprised by them for early visit..I had not put in for any time off. I wish they could stay longer.....

I will not be online, again until Sunday. Y'all be good while I am gone. Dianne, I hope to see a post from you when I return, saying you got your box!!!!

Oh Thunder! I so hope you check in one more time beefore you leave........ went to my mailbox this afternoon and lo and behold there was a card for a package. I flew into the village as it was getting close to 5 pm. It was 3 min to 5 when I walked in the PO door, the Postmistress was just going to lock the door. Think she saw the look in my eye and the fact I could see HER wall clock which was the same time as mine.lol ANyway she opened the door and got my parcel. Thunder you have no idea how excited I was with all your goodies and wonderful note. And NO you do not babble!!!Wish I took pics so I could share with you all, hopefully Thunder did before she sent the parcel off. First thing Santa Warren went to was the tin of M&Ms ....lol. Kitchen Angel was immediately hung in a place of honour on the garden door that is the walkout to the lake from my kitchen.
Thunder the sharing of your "Cowboy" and wooden Santas is so greatlly appreciated. Think that Cowboy is going to sit on my desk for a spell.LOL Love the runner and coasters. The fabric in the runner and coasters is something I would have chosen myself. How did you know? I too enjoy using runners and have the perfect spot for yours.Think our hydro is going, the lights are flickering - darn freezing rain. So guess I had better scrama nd send this off.... I am not done yet ladies with Thunder's treats. I am a very spoiled! And Thunder sent me things to colour and something to do it with. Out of this world ahppy about that. I love to colour. Oooops deefinitely have to go... am gone.

Don't fret Betty I have already called and cancelled DH's appointment. I left a message on the machine I am sure one of hundreds that will be left today. I can't even get out our lane to even attempt the Highway# 38. Good thing is DH's swelling has gone down - on Tues we started recording twice a day the size of his hand and wrist on both arms.

Here is an update from Faye...

Good Morning everyone. Only have a minute and want to thank each of you for your prayers. It is prayer that has kept Ray and me going. Dear friend Susan, thank you so much for being my voice and caring. Love you all.
Strange, but twice now Ray has been saved because of Kidney Stones. I know it was the hand of God. The first time Kidney Stones led to the cancer in his kidney. This time the the Kidney Stone pain led the Dr.'s.. to find his heart problem. Had I taken Ray home when he was supposed to go, he may not be alive today. Ray got sick at the Hospital after his release papers had been signed. By staying another night, the Dr.'s found his heart trouble. Goodness, if I had time I would like to vent about this entire week. Like when Ray went home last Fri. and had to go back to the Hosp. early Sat. morning.
As far as I know now, Ray is still on go for surgery tomorrow. Depending on how stable his heart & lungs are tonight and early tomorrow a m. Please keep Ray in your prayers, this surgery is going to be tough.
Have to feed my four footed sons and get back to the Hospital.
