Betty surely if we do Disney in May I could still come to Canada? When are ya'll planning.. would I be able to see "Snow" ? That woudl be cool. Love Greg's hat ... it looks heavy. If Melanie still is sick surely she wouldn't mind if Greg runs up there just long enough to win the contest.

All kids are staying around at least till 10p. So I'm cooking a roast. Always try to get this roast that reminds me of Mom...she would cook it... but 3 meat depts never heard of a "rolled rib roast wrapped with fat and tied with string". One butcher said he'd leave me a standing rib roast but it has the bone is and isn't the same...

Since I can't call Mom - I'm asking if ya'll ever heard of it ? Thunder what a WONDERFUL Surprise !

Susan will have to look for a chicken lasagne recipe...

snow in May is only in BC and parts of Alberta (snow goes, then we get a blizzard, then snow goes right away, in Calgary)

WELL, I did it! I bought an ebook reader! It's charging now, and only cost $52 after tax! 100 books on it. Only way to use memory stick is to put it on the computer, then download from the computer to the reader.
4 hours of charging....... can hardly wait!

Betty, will you be staying up to bring in the New Year? If so, I can phone you - 10pm our time!

Hi Debbie ... Happy new year! How's Izzy? Bonnie has been to my house before. ☺ This will be my first time meeting Mr B and her sister, though. LOL

Suse, Izzy is doing much better. Did you hear about the Vet trip on Thursday? She has a nasty ear infection and is on antibiotics. She had a bath today with a special skin shampoo also. I actually got in the tub and scrubbed her down...and then me down after. What a ordeal that was! lol

Mr. B has a special place in my heart....he snuck into bed with me when I was visiting Bonnie! lol

Was in bed early, fireworks across the street at midnight then got my yearly "Happy New Year Mom" call

Been up early, taking time for coffee and porridge then back to quilting..have it timed that perhaps by noon some of my 2010 quilted swap block will be a project.

Do you get those annoying tiny bugs that bite in Spring? If not, then I would say late May early June. If you get them, then I would say late June, early July. It might be fun to spend the 4th with an honorary American!!!!!

Omg Barb, do you think anyone would come then?? I could book that entire week off ??

I'm not getting my hopes up regardless of when I pick the date as I know the economy has been terrible and many cannot make the journey..but, there are a few who would be passing each other and could co travel together...

Also food and lodging would be provided..between here, Greg's, Ann, Darlene we'd be fine and you know all listed would be more than happy to make your stay..Darlene's mom/dad have a bunk ie that could be used as well so gas money would be needed..just fill tank to the brim before crossing over..did you keep track of how much it cost you gas wise when you were here?

We went out partying last night, had a blast, got home at 2am and I went to bed at 3am, started dreaming about Tiga and woke up bawling my head off at 4am and never did get back to sleep, I'm thinking that a nap is in the works.

What a grand day yesterday...First seeing that Thunder's DS and lil Angel are with her!!
I lazed around the entire day!! Got to chat with Liz for a while...LOL, phone hadn't rang all day and while chatting received a
Call from a Garden Sister, I haven't chatted with in forever!! It's been 2/3 years...I said wow vibes must have sure blown her way.
I think about her all the time, but the other day while cleaning the junk draw, came across several of her business cards.
So for her to Call me out of the blue was overwhelming...Got to "meet" a few of her friends and her DS. ROFLOL, i think he was a bit overwhelmed that I knew as much as I did about him...Well anyway, she is going to be headed down to Indiana in the Spring sometime wants to meet up!! OMG, we've chatted for over 6 years on this computer! ohwah will be a treat to wrap arms with my friend friend Karen from NC..still smiling here.

What away to end a tough year and bring in the new...
