Merry Christmas everyone
So hope when you wake this morning, Santa will have visited and will have left you something special..all will have a busy day ahead but a day filled with family/friends and loved ones...
Spent the entire day in bed, what a waste..did try several times to get mobile but was unsteady on my feet so did what doctor Greg said, NOTHING!
This morning I'm up, will move extra slow as my head is still fussy, but having 14 come for eats this afternoon food has to be prepared
Figure up this early if I do a bit and sit, do a bit and sit I'll make it through the day without feeling its too much!
Early morning I'll get a call from the boys to come see them open gifts..been searching for my camera but cannot locate, lord knows where I set it..
Do enjoy the day..again hope you've all been spoilt!
Moved us from here..

Goodmorning to all.
Merry Christmas.
Morning Laura, been missing you..hope it wasn't your back but was the sewing that was keeping you busy!
Guess with little ones you have to be up early..
Will you be travelling to family today or staying home and enjoying...
Just put the furries out, cold but not frigid.. No snow, mthat is a bit of a downer!!
So quiet out there, I have all my light a glittering, Christmas carols playing, sipping a coffee and taking the morning at a slow pace. Now that Kyle and Noah are older you don't get the 5 am call to come watch them open santa's gifts.
Not sure what they will want to do, wait till Jeff and the boys come this afternoon or come this morning to see what Santa brought??
Ooops pies need to be taken out of oven
Got to go
Merry Christmas everyone!
Betty, please take it easy today?

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!!!!! MISS Y'ALL!!!!!!
Betty just relax and take care of yourself, let the others take care of you.
I just caught up with the other thread, sort of, Dianne and Warren my heart goes out to you, many many prayers.
Betty what happened with your car? I agree that you need to be grounded for a bit.
Debbie glad Paul found another car, it's extremely expensive to have a young man on car insurance, I was on my parent's insurance from the time I was 16 to 18, but once I turned 18 I had to get my own insurance, mom said, "Too bad too sad, if you can't afford it it's not my problem, it's your problem."
Shirley so glad you posted, so sorry you're having problems with the kids, my goodness why do people act like that? Big hugs!
Janice glad you posted too! Big Hugs sweetie.
Hi Judy, Liz, Thea, Katie, Susan, Suse, and everyone else!!!!!!
Crissy, car is in till top shape, it's the driver who is not..Greg didn't feel I should be driving so said the car is off limits for a few days!
Wasn't going anywhere anyway..lol
Crissy where have you been girl, been missing you. Do you have the entire week off? Was Santa good to you?
Imagine, I haven't opened one gift yet, not even shake rattle and roll any of the pressies..wasn't much I wanted so, nothing really so no excitement to see what I may have gotten.
Cathy called to say she loved her rag quilt and her mom loved the candle as did Bernice and Cliff, Bernice said he'd cut wood for her to make a few and he was playing his Gaithersburg Family gospel tape.
Also spoke to Ann, she loved the silver earrings I bought her..we were at the jewelery party back a moth ago, she eyed them, said they were costly with Christmas coming and didn't purchase them, needless to say she was thrilled. This Christmas has been hard on she and the girls, but they have survived the worse of it..this afternoon they are off to her brothers, about 1 1/2 hr drive..he just lost his wife a few months ago so she thinks their having supper with them will make things easier..will be back tomorrow night!
Sure smells nice in here..have set table for 14 downstairs, means carrying food downstairs but also means we can all sit at same table.
Merry Christmas
spoke to Malena on the phone!! she was too cute...she said Happy Birthday everyone!!!! soooo perfect !!!! then I was talking to my son, and she wanted him to come play with her...he said "you got to wait a minute, I am talking to Mor Mor", so she said " Mor Mor? " I said what.....she said........."I love you...goodbye now " she wanted Daddy!!! so of course I told him to go play, and call again later.....
Passion vine blooming like crazy this morning.
Merry Christmas Thunder, it's the best ever for you I am sure..ahhhh can't even imagine how overwhelmed by it all your son must be...thank the Lord for his homecoming just in time for Christmas!! How adorable Malena is..
Good morning and
Merry, Merry Christmas!!

A Christmas tree for MOM!
Each and every year, We've had a real tree. This year is no different, but this year we have 2!
Our first tree, my honey was so proud to bring home. It was the last of a 7 foot beauties for sale.
We, had it on the deck for quite some time and Several days ago placed it in the sun room.
The room, with the computer where I chat with you all, It's also the room that have fires for warmth and prayer.
We watered it and and it just would not open and so I cried that I even lost my Christmas tree.
And so, My beautiful children would not hear of us not having a Tree! They awoke and went about searching for
a tree...They were not giving up at presenting Mom with a tree for Christmas!
about 5 hours later and 1 hour before our company came...The best Christmas present ever
The most Stunning 7 foot Christmas tree, soo full and robust.
I had the best fun, watching as they pulled together, all the while,
Laughing and remennicing(sp?) of different events...In less then one hour
My beautiful, Christmas tree, decorated with so much Love, I can feel my eyes twinkling with delight
while I look at all it's Splendor!
And with Tears of the special gift of love...
I just have to keep it up until it's too dangerous to light!
With Open Arms to Wrap around each of you,
Merry Christmas, With Love and Peace
Judy
Judy, so glad to hear you got a wonderful gift of a tree! Sounds like it is really beautiful?
Crissy, nice to see you posting, you have been too busy!
Thunder, glad to hear you got to talk to your son.
Betty, hope your resting, and not over doing it today!
I've been too busy at work to go online and play anywhere, tis the season, end of year accounting crap. It will be like this for another 2 - 3 weeks, or so.
Santa was good to Dave, but he didn't get me anything, said he couldn't figure out what to get so tomorrow we're going to go out shopping all day until I find whatever it is that I want, I can buy ANYTHING! WooHOOOOO!!! Santa was good to me too, got a bunch of stuff and since my dad lost the presents that were from him when his girlfriend finds them she's going to ship them off to me, she thinks they're under her tree.
I haven't even had time to start on the workshop project, for the past 2 weeks straight every day after work we've either gone to see someone or had someone over. Dave worked 12, 12 hr days in a row. My goodness!!!
LOL Betty I agree with Greg, you're grounded, and you know darn well that if Greg didn't ground you, you would be out and about everywhere, even when there is nowhere to go.
Merry Christmas to you all. I've been without a subscription, but Kathy paid me up, cause I asked her to tell you all I said Merry Christmas. She said....do it yourself and paid for me....what a loving sissy!
Hope you all had a wonderful day and season. Dad and I made it through, but it was tough. Everyone has said it will be the worst one. It helped to have a houseful of family today for both of us.
Anyway....I've missed you all.
Love you
Glad your back with us Cookie! Glad you have your family with you!

Morning everyone! Coffee is ready, pancakes, bacon...
I'm in for breakfast LindaKay..
Everyone is sleeping, so downstairs I am
My sister is coming to spend the day with me..she had sent some time ago her sewing machine that had problems for me to look at, bought a new model but she loved this one so while everyone sleeps I'll have a coffee and have a look at it, would make her day if I could get it to work
Keep thinking I should pack up and head somewhere after the family and she leaves but it's doubtful..know myself I shouldn't be going to far..who knows maybe one day this week, I'll get Cathy and drive over either for the day or for the night..
Not sure why I couldn't access this particular thread last night but no can do so posted on our previous thread..
Moving it over..Odd, cannot access the new thread..each time I go to open it goes to home page..shaking my head
Wanted to say how wonderful it was to see You post Joyce..great to have an earthly angel see that you have access to DG.. Should have been more observant!! Did think of you and Shirley today, difficult time for sure..you and your dad must have had many a memory come to you reminding you both of such a great loss. Sending you hugs..
Judy, get that camera going, get rid of the fuzzies and show us your tree! Those kids of yours are something else..you are indeed blessed..
Liz and Kenny, hate to tell you when you come to my neck of the woods you'll need Canadian fishing licenses..lol. Minor detail right? Do you fish on piers or do you go out on a fishing vessel.
Tired so am calling it a day. Sharon is coming around noon tomorrow so need to tidy up.
I'll treat Jeff in the am, will go out and pull a Norm, will do the Tim Horton run
Then LIZ replied
lol betty, piers, beach, fresh water
Well Liz hoping that you and Kenny can get out this week and catch some big ones.Tell Kenny big trout will be waiting in our fresh water for when you visit..meantime I'll keep feeding them..lol
Mary, makes my heart sing to hear that you've all had a wonderful Christmas..my boys asked, who is in the photo mom..said a 'good friend' nice looking bunch was their reply!
Ohhh Jeff's up best I go make coffee and then do the Tim Horton's run
Morning everyone!
LK breakfast sounds wonderful!!!
Soon dashing off t the CC to get Warren's radiation treatment in for the day. Then home to doodle or read or just plain relax.
BBL
Dianne
Drive careful please?
Betty, I get that problem sometimes! I click on a thread, and it takes me back to the home page.
Odd, still won't let me access from i-pad so computer it is
Just got back from Home Depot, first one in the door, nobody at the store, guess they are all sleeping..went to look at a fireplace instead of repairing the one I have..the one I wanted, last of it's type in store was gone..so, no fireplace
Did a quick walk through walmart, all their sales must have been rock bottom prices Christmas Eve, nothing at all at bargain prices..did purchase something for my niece (forgot) and a Christmas Quilt book..don't know how I missed that one but bought it as it had lovely projects in it.
Jeff just took Sharon's sewing machine out for me and now I will look to see if I can fix.
Too funny, if you had access to his facebook acct. you would see his first "Santa I want" for 2012 on there...
Something like
Santa, I would like for Christmas that my mom doesn't wake up in middle of the night and start cleaning
lol
Even sick, you never stop! Sounds like your feeling better today?
Good morning!!
LOL, Betty, you are something else!!
Have to tell you I had one of the Best Christmas' ever
It was a pretty quiet day, my sweet DH actually did what I wanted him to do,
A b s o l u t e Nothing!! He lazed around in bed, watching television all day!!!
LOL, We all fended for ourselves and i even delivered his Left over lasagna to him.
Kids did their visiting with their in laws and then we opened our stockings and "secret Santa" packages!!
I was going to read, started The Bridges of Madison County, wow didn't know it was a true story.
Well, couldn't concentrate on it, Don't have the new Angels book so what better then to actually get to
talk via phone my very own Three very favorite Earthly Angels!!
Betty, Liz and Sistah Jaye, perfect ending to my already wonderful Christmas...
so smiling...I can't wait to here about your Christmas too, hope it was a glorious day for all.
P.S. Betty, Betty,
I'm Up!!
P.S.S.
sorry about the the picture.
today, think I'll go buy a new battery charger for the little camera!
I just got off the phone with Judy and she told me her tree picture was posted. Judy it is sooooo pretty. What a great shape but--------who is that on the floor? Is he a part of the tree or is he going to keep the tree in place for you??? And I love the lights too!!!! I sure hope you were able to get a picture of it all decorated. The shape of it is just perfect.
Merry Christmas Everyone! And GOD Bless you!
Thanks for the thoughts re: singing, Judy :-)
Had a busy Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and now Boxing Day - tomorrow I go to Winnipeg to visit my family!!!!!!!
Will be back online LATE Friday.
Hi Everyone - Still no battery for my pueter so I'm at the internet cafe in town. Sounds like Christmas went well for everyone. Mine was excellent - Had lots of stuffed twoys all lined up in rows in a big box lined in plush red fabric. Kids were thrilled at being able to pick out the toy they wanted. I also gave away most of the 25 pounds of candy. I did my usual thing of driving around here and there and stopping any time I saw some kids. Ended up at the home of Tony's in-laws. Then home when I promptly went to sleep for a couple of hours. I do as much socializing in the two hours I'm out as Santa as I do most of the rest of the year. It's interesting as some of the kids are small enough to be a little scared but there were no freak-outs this year. A three-year-old great-nephew of Tony came up and shook my hand and welcomed me. He's the happiest child I've ever known and always a treat to see.
I'm in a lot of physical pain today and low on pain killers. I can take it easy until my refill arrives. Tony will be back at work tomorrow. I'm still formulating plans for the kitchen and moving stuff so we can continue brown bagging the living room.
This can be such a hard time of year. I am truly blessed to have so many people here who care about me and so many children who sincerely appreciate what I am able to do. Their parents are also very grateful for the visit from Santa.
Must go pick up a box of chicken legs for the dogs' dinner.
love you all. big hugs, katie
