Hi just to let you know I'm ok except for a stomache and no computer battery. Have several boxes of stuffed animals ready to go on Christmas. Miss you all. Things are going very well with neighbor Dana. I donated a few items for her animal clinic charity auction and helped make some money.

Must get home and to bed. Hard to type on cafe computer.

Oh my GAWD, as Liz would say, hands on the hips, Trying so hard to finish the last of what I'm working on...Every single time I start, get a txt, someone needing something, stop and start. Finally get to sit at machine and freaking needle breaks. Thought I had to go back to JoAnnes again for like the 100th time this week, lol but found a couple extras i had, now really on last one...Finished what i was working on go to take photo's of all the pressies and guess what?? Lost my picture card! Whine to Liz via txt and the smart alec says it's with my wallet!! lolol...nothing like a little sympathy. So right now tossing my hands in the air, I gie up taking a break! So going to take run to the post office and get what I have done out, maybe I'll feel better and the thought of where pic card is will pop into my head! Grrrr, deep breath....long sigh.

Oh Judy only you could get into such a muddle..Liz is right, must be with wallet..lol

OMG, decide to order in pizza so that on my lunch hour I can go to fabricland..needed fabric to do Arianna's little crayon apron and wanted to get some flannel to try a pair of fleece slippers..place is packed but I manage to get the flannel, ask where the kids fabrics is located, while cutting the flannel I run and pick up 4 bolds of cotton, pretty little prints..

Saleslady starts to cut the fabric, hands me the receipt, OUCH, double OUCH the cotton was a Disney print..$22.00 a yard...THANK the Lord I only bought 2 - 1/2 and 2 - 1/4 still mega dollars for a mini apron

So guess Judy not just you can get into a pickle

LOL, talk a bout getting backed up, I now have loads and loads of laundry to do and Dh's sock drawer is completely empty and so is the kids sock basket...
ROFLOL, I am telling you I'm going back to bed and not waking until next year!!
So, i had this bright idea about putting the camera back on internal memory, while trying to find the function the Battery dies!! lol, I just can't win...Then i'm driving and chattering at Liz, lower the phone for a sec and end up hanging up on her...At the PO, the line is like a mile long finally get to counter, the lady says not enough tape, so I have to buy a roll for 3.95!! (it's Ok, need some anyway) she says my paper wrap is to thin, I've never had a problem with it before, so I get the tape and she Proceeds to Tape the box for me...LOLOL, My Santa Buddy is going to need heavy duty scissors to cut it open!! Then i bought a book of stamps to get cards out. OH crap not enough and not going to wait in that line again. So come home to do some stuff, load my dish washer and I am out of dish washing liquid!!! I am telling you this is just not my day...So now, I decided i'm going to plant my behind on my comfy chair wrapped in my Christmas quilt and Watch tv!

WHEW What a weekend. busy, busy, busy

This is only a 4-day week as we have from Dec 23 to Jan 3 off - office is closed.
Judy - I didn't have to pay airfare - I used my AirMiles (from grocery shopping and gassing up Bob's truck) and only had to pay Airport taxes of $172.00. I've been saving them for years, but was unable to find a flight until the other day. I guess they don't have a lot of flights available over the holidays.

Stay in the chair Judy!!!! It's safer there!! OMG what a day you've had/ Mine has been pretty good so I'll not complain.....

Judy you could call your day a comedy of error! All and all bet you feel all is well with the world wrapped up in your Christmas blank that LindaKay sent you.

Susan we get off at 1:00 on Thursday and don't come back till the 3rd as well.bet you are counting the sleeps!

No crowd coming here - we go to my daughter's home which is five miles up the road!!! Looking forward to prime rib on Christmas (if my digesdtion can handle it!!!)

Today I made three scarves. One for each of my youngest granddaughters and one for a dear friend. Tomorrow is craft with Sean day. Can't wait!!! I think I will draw out some letters on paper and have him practice painting inside the lines before he does his project. He was never one to do coloring when he was young. I know he would get VERY upset if he messes up his holder.

Off for a snack and then some TV. Have a great night all....

Nope never heard of it Mary. Although I am sure all of our talented ladies here probably have. Well all you crafty ladies I did something today and it is all your faults. Well in WM this am I saw a pattern for a "Sampler" crocheted afgahn. The I saw some shades of wool that I just loved. Santa Warren now has 2 bags of different balls of wool for the afghan to put in my stocking Christmas Eve.How do you all do that? Influence me from afar..... heavens your enthusiasm is contagious.

Days are indeed dwindling down..is everyone ready for Santa? Are you asking for anything special..oohhh listened to a radio program last night that said it is soooo wrong to ask for specific items..if its the 'thought that counts' then why are we asking for specifics..found that interesting and am p,eased nothing was on my list..well almost, asked for that mini vacuum for my sewing machine and ended up buying one. Lol

Well, I've had breakfast, coffee in hand, heading to sew a bit.

Pays to get up early, sewing is done, all that remains to finish this project is a good washing..might take to work and on my way home drop into the laundromat to wash..not taking any chances washing in my washer..

Got part of the little apron cut..seeing as it's 6:45 it's time to get dressed and off to work I go, best I put on winter clothes..brrr

Glad you are able to take things at a slower pace Judy/LindaKay. I'm almost there.Crochet'ing on Marg's afghan here at the office..told Suzanne as of Thursday noon however large it is, it's as it will be wrapped.

Starting to get itchy feet, know I really should not be going anywhere but am thinking, long drive to Floriday for 7 days but maybe Myrtle Beach..if I left 1 on Boxing day and put in 6 or 7 hours, then up and at it early Tuesday I could be on the ocean by supper time ..tell me not to do it will you!!!

Bryan, Suzanne's 25 year old and his friend have been trying desperately to get to Philadelphia for a big concert but both have no car..Suzanne just said it's about 5 hr. detour each way..could drop Bryan off then pick him up on my way back..now wouldn't that be something..

also called Cathy, her dad says she's out shopping...told him to tell her I've got itcy feet and looking at Myrtle beach...

regardless if anything comes of it, it will be fun just dreaming..

Waving..yikes, smelt something burning all the way home tonight..checked gauges, all ok, not sure what is going on.

Stopped at post office , guess what, I got a box that the post mistress said was bigger than I..never mind the box size, I said where is it coming from, she says USA...drats lady where in the USA??

She is new, have to train her as to how excited I get a package.

What a box..

A problem, had brought the rag quilt with me for washing at laundromat so there I was, having to spend 1/2 hr wondering what was in this box..my special pressie...

You all know how much patience I have??

So the 1/2 hour seemed to take forever..at one point I was tempted to take the quilt out at first spin. Lol

Got home, threw my bags inside and carried the box in ever so gently.

I've been getting swap boxes for many years but none were so well packed..air bags, bubble wrap and the like...

So now I'm at the point of seeing individually packed packages and am excited...

I was in awe as I unwrapped each floral..they are done inside primitive wood boxes, just the type of wood I love..the large on done in silver (my living room tree is silver) and the two side arrangement in red..can't decide if I want to keep them as a trio or decorate several areas.

Then came the tears..such a beautiful card and inside was a note saying our "Tubby" had made the containers...

I'm at a loss for words..Shirley you have no idea what these mean to me..will cherish them..wiping tears..off for Kleenex

Now comes the arrangements, they are beatiful and have wine glasses inserted in the moss that holds battery operated candles...Shirley are you the floral artist??

Mary, I don't read that much but when I was having problems in my last marriage a friend gave me the book and told me to read it. That gave me the incentive to leave him, as I realized there is more to life than what I had! Have you seen the movie with Clint Eastwood? It is really close to the book!
