I am praising the Lord for all of you. This Christmas is indeed a very special one for Kel and I.

There's hands on the hips Sistah Judy that made me feel as though some emotional distance has come between her and I, and all that time, she's a planner monster!! Yep, you read that right sistah.
If it's meant for Labor Day, guess God made ways that it should be for Christmas? Even Sis Kathy, LK, Susan and Synda can keep secrets?
I truly can't believe this.

Please tell me how 16 women can keep this secret?

I did open another today, but the camera's very low on batteries. Will go to the gas station tomorrow and replace them. Ooh boy, that sistah is responsible for some dirty words that came out of Kel's mouth!!

LK, I'll keep your friend in my prayers. It's strange, I haven't been praying for myself lately, but the prayers for all in need do continue.
God listens to prayers, and tomorrow at 10.00 am in church, I'll be thanking the Lord for answered prayers, especially for one sistah.

Just to reassure you all that I am trying while waiting on meds to help more..I have agreed to do the protein for Kel's 1st Christmas dinner @ work.
To make it easy on me, he had suggested buying 2 already roasted chickens, poor guy.
Right now, I have some cut up chuck roast in the slow cooker, simmering in soy sauce, stock and Jack Daniels!!!
Pssst... the prisoners won't have no chance for escape tomorrow. The roast won't be potent enough to knock out the guards!

I went to church this morning all by myself. Lord's so good to me as my legs didn't lose any circulation and I made it home too.
When I got home @ 11.30, to my surprise, Kel decided to find a restaurant to have Christmas lunch.
Sistahs, his parents are having Christmas lunch with his brother and SIL (yes, MIL managed to convince them to come down) and Kel's invited..not me. Just like last year, he could have joined them, even though it meant leaving me behind.
But this year, Lord must be whispering in Kel's ears.

Anyway, we went to Myrtle Beach, and God is awesome. The German restaurant that we went to on Christmas evenings was open!! This is the first year it's open in the afternoon!
God intervenes just for us, I know ^_^
We had a fabulous meal. I had goose, dumplings and red cabbage.
Kel had sausages.
Not once in our conversation his family's mentioned. It was all about my family, his co workers and of course the food that's in front of us.

I didn't question his decision as I was too afraid to break the magic.
Then I remembered the X'mas card which his brother had given to him... addressed just to Kel.. signed by BIL and SIL. Could this be the straw that broke the camel's back?
What's funny, was this was the same BIL whose wife had cussed out MIL and refused to come down for 3 years. My.. how the devil's tongue can be very persuasive.

I truly believe that God is working His ways with Kel and whispering to him that Christmas is all about being with the ones you love. Hey, I'll take this niblet even if it could be his way of fighting back against his family! Or maybe your box has a lot to do with it too!!!

Good Morning, all, and hope you all had a Very Merry Christmas!!!
I was busy - Christmas Eve service, Choir practice then service Christmas morning, then dinner for 6 at 5pm, then company stayed until 9pm (I was tired, fell asleep on the couch while Bob cleared dishes and set to soak) I was up this am doing yesterday's dishes, then packing for tomorrow's trip to Winnipeg.
Now, to shop for all the ingredients to make a Bread Pudding for a dinner we're going to (she asked me to bring a dessert). It's going to be an early night for me as I have to be at the airport at 5AM.
I'll be back online late Friday morning.

Yes, I do, and your should have come with a cd for installation. Just follow the prompts. Some computers just have a plug and play, and it just installs automatically.

I had a wonderful Christmas LK. We spent the day at my daughter's and had a great time. Nice prime rib dinner and Santa was good to everyone!!!

Shall I say, my emotions got the better of me when I spread out the arm-wrap shawl? It's so beautiful.
With my sistahs' hands encircling me with love, there's no way the devil can get me down.
The fabric is sooo beautiful. Sistah Judy remembered I'm a purple and gold gal. The back of the shawl is covered with pansies. You're not a little sistah for sure, for doing something great as this!
It is also a perfect prayer shawl.

Brudder Kel says he'll be bringing those lemon drops to work. They'll keep him awake.
