well i got my hair done and welllllll........ i can't believe how bad it is ??
it looks like a zebra strip . new color , old color, older color ect... ???
then she did a quick dry job and did my hair curly , she has done it before and i liked it, but this time.... i have no idea what that girl was thinking ?
my hair was damp damp , then she sprayed it with hair spray. i just looked at her " what the hell are you doing " ? so i did complain to the owner. Been with this girl 3 yrs been very happy with her ,but like i said " have no idea what was she thinking ? "

Well, just got off the phone from my DS Alice after talking to my brother Stan (who hung up on me).
Apparently I "blew it" 2 1/2 years ago when I went to my mom's 90th birthday and "only spent 1 hour at their house" after the party. I had her to my house (in Calgary) for 2 weeks a couple of months later. My DS Alice is calling Stan now, to straighten him out, but I don't hold much hope for it. He said "you know what I'm talking about because you talked to Alice and she told you how I feel". My DH got restless when we were visiting Wpg, and he wanted to go places, and wasn't coming back to pick me up so I had to go with him........
I don't know if Alice will be able to say anything to him, but here's hoping he won't be there while I am........ crying now..... I'm going to Wpg specifically to visit her, and I'm apparently not welcome (he lives in same house). I asked my mom about visiting 1/2 day Wed (the other night) and she loves the idea. I hadn't gotten an invitation to stay there, so I thought I'd specifically ask this year............

Well, I'm better - I'll be able to see 2 of my 3 sisters, my mom, my DD and DSIL, plus 2 friends, so I'm feeling lucky for that.
I may be bussing it around the city a bit, so I'd better bring some change. I think my DD and one of my 2 sisters is very disappointed in me and that hurts a bit, but I'll get over it and so will they.
I just wish they would realize how I'm trying to "mend broken fences".
As my brother and mom live in the same house, it's difficult to see her when he's not there.........
Still, I'm glad I can see her if only for 4 hours.

Susan....be positive !! four hours is way WAY better than 0 !!!!
brothers can be such a pain in the arse!!! I got two of em....brothers, that are pains............one only calls me if he wants / needs money !!! do I look like a bank??? NOT the other I rarely speak to, he is much older than I am and I feel like I really do not know him at all, He was out of the house when I was very young.....

Judy, yes, the box got here yesterday, but I didn't have the 'wants' to do anything yesterday at all.

I missed sis Kathy's and Susan's calls but Synda managed to get hold of me and told me to open the box.

Liz, I still haven't stopped crying after reading the folder.
You all can sure keep a secret this long? Especially when Judy here is the ring leader?

So, it's meant for my b'day right? I really believe that our everknowing Lord, knows the right time the box should be in my hands.
You all don't know it comes at the right moment when I need this special affirmation of why I am here, and that the air that I breathe is not wasted.

I had called Kel up, so he could share the joy with me. But it looks like it might be tomorrow, as he's late from the shop and soon will be rushing to work at the prison.

I liked the angel I sent Shirley so much, I bought 5 more for my 3 sisters, my mom, and my DD & SIL.
I didn't get one for my brother, cuz.......... well! 'sides - he and my mom live in the same house, so he'll have to figure out if he wants to put it out as a decoration or not - so THERE! lol geeze that sounded childish, but as he's being childish too, I figure I'm owed one LOL

Susan, if your taking wrapped gifts to the airport, they will make you unwrap them all! It has been on the news all week here!

May I ask for prayers please for my friend Katie, she went into the hospital this morning for a complete hysterectomy, and was told she had cancer. The Dr. thinks he got all of it, but will know more when test results come back. Don't know if she will have to have chemo or anything yet!

She will surely have my prayers LK.

In Canada, LK - wrapped gifts can go in my checked luggage. They cannot go in my carry-on. It's the same with liquid products (creams/lotions and makeup). They take away from you if you're going to put it in carry-on luggage, but allow you to put it in your checked luggage.
I just checked Google to see if this is current info, and it is.
