finally had a good nap - 2 hrs sleep last night did not DO it. I spent the time listening to my Mom sleeping. She's a quiet sleeper, but it was nice to hear her when all was quiet in the house.
btw - maybe my brother's mood has changed. Yesterday was his first day of work, so I'm hoping this sweetens his disposition LOL likely not, but one can dream, right? When we picked Mom up on Wed, he tossed the quilt of hers that I have since added a label to, and he spoke to Glen (my BIL) and not me. He interviewed that day and started a new job on Thurs.

One of my younger brothers disowned me when I accepted Christ. The irony is, I was the one that always support and defended his music career when Dad was so against it. This 'golden boy' had became clearly a self righteous, murky headed brother. He bullies the other siblings in Singapore. What I can't get over is his rejection of me for my faith, when we all know he's a closet gay.
Whatever your brother's beef is... knowing you, you still love him. Forgive his ignorance.

Yes, brothers can be a PIA! Actually my brother was my very best friend but my son is a PIA to his sister. Times I have trouble believing they are mine and yet so very different. Of course I do remember the saying: "a son is a son until he takes a wife but a daughter is a daughter all of her life"

Extremely foggy and cool here--feels like rain but just heavy, heavy fog. I really love days like this to just "veg"but so many things I want/need to do.

I finally got my kindlefire connected to wireless router and now I can surf the web on it. So many things I can do besides read books, so going to take me a long time to figure it out. Very hard to use a keyboard on it when all you do in touch it with a finger. Good thing there is a backspace bar because I'm forever using it.

So glad we've made Jaye so happy with a box of gifts. One great gal deserves all the love she can get. Stay happy, Jaye!!!!

These books are from Sistah Judy for Kel. They're "The Grail Bird" and the "Elf and The Magic Window". Sistah Judy, he flipped through the pages of the Grail Bird and said. "There are pictures!!" What a big kid!
The Elf and the Magic Window, looks like I'll be reading it too. It's a whimsical feel good fantasy. Just the right reading to pick me up. It's mine now :D

Heather is home now, she was sent home with an inhaler and asthma meds. Dr. TOld her she may be due end of February, instead of mid to late March! She was told she will be delivering a big baby, at least 9 - 11 pounder!

Sue - yes, it is with Robin Williams & Bonnie Hunt (I didn't know her name, but she plays "Sarah") It's a really good movie, with a lot of entertainment. I like the father/son scene near the end, where the father & he start to "listen" to each other.

LK - glad to hear she's home. Guess she wasn't home for Christmas?
It's better that she have the baby in Feb, as it's less time to worry, in my humble opinion.......
I keep her in my thoughts and prayers.

She was home for Christmas, but went into the hospital Wed. am. She was not home for New Years!

I know I have an infection, as ear's hurting and I've been having 'mini' fevers since yesterday. In and out of sleep and don't have the wants to do anything. Kel's been fixing lots of instant soups.
