I went to church this morning all by myself. Lord's so good to me as my legs didn't lose any circulation and I made it home too.
When I got home @ 11.30, to my surprise, Kel decided to find a restaurant to have Christmas lunch.
Sistahs, his parents are having Christmas lunch with his brother and SIL (yes, MIL managed to convince them to come down) and Kel's invited..not me. Just like last year, he could have joined them, even though it meant leaving me behind.
But this year, Lord must be whispering in Kel's ears.

Anyway, we went to Myrtle Beach, and God is awesome. The German restaurant that we went to on Christmas evenings was open!! This is the first year it's open in the afternoon!
God intervenes just for us, I know
We had a fabulous meal. I had goose, dumplings and red cabbage.
Kel had sausages.
Not once in our conversation his family's mentioned. It was all about my family, his co workers and of course the food that's in front of us.

I didn't question his decision as I was too afraid to break the magic.
Then I remembered the X'mas card which his brother had given to him... addressed just to Kel.. signed by BIL and SIL. Could this be the straw that broke the camel's back?
What's funny, was this was the same BIL whose wife had cussed out MIL and refused to come down for 3 years. My.. how the devil's tongue can be very persuasive.

I truly believe that God is working His ways with Kel and whispering to him that Christmas is all about being with the ones you love. Hey, I'll take this niblet even if it could be his way of fighting back against his family! Or maybe your box has a lot to do with it too!!!
