Best/Worse/What did I learn today-Chat with friends

Splitting my sides laughing Judy, yep, know the old 'pay with kindness' method. Must tell you when I was married with a guy with backhoe and construction and I needed topsoil and drive graded I called his competitor (an old friend) and had him do it and payed with my own $$$..didn't go well, but didn't have to ask twice after that. Sure hope by end of November you have a new roof!

Ahh look at Cedric..already 2 years has gone by if not 3 since his visit. Kids thought I was crazy taking him on a scoot, driving him through town, taking him for Christmas dinner..look on their eyes...lol

Thanks for the info Katie, if you can't send the weather maybe I'll come and enjoy it in a visit..wouldn't that be something!

Must be call a friend day, had calls from 3 friends I've not heard from in a bit, Geraldine in Florida wanting me to come down at Christmas..hmmm

Then Mom called, she hasn't been well, bad cough/cold..got a call from her Doctor, seems they found something on her lung/lungs and they want her to see someone this afternoon..she's calm so perhaps it's just an infected area.

OHHHHH Judy! Our DH's are related! My DH gets out of bed...and makes his side only...with me STILL in the bed!!! At 4:15 every morning, he gets up for work...pulls up the covers, smooths and tucks under his pillow....and there I am...still sleeping. TICKS me off big time!!!

I enjoyed Cedrics visit....my oldest DD still laughs the day we took the "The frog" for a ride on the huge John Deere and then to the Erie Canal. lol

It was fun doing wasn't it Debbie..I know you will get tired of me saying it BUT here is goes, worth repeating....

Enjoy the bed not made, clothing on the floor, toilet seat, dishes, all around bad habits...what I wouldn't give to b...h right along with you...when hubby gets home tonight, try a soft hug and a big I love you..does wonders..

LOL, We loved having Cedrick for a visit!! My time was winter and oh gosh he sure made the winter blues not happen!! I think, everyone who had him and Bailey had a blast!! Wasn't it just an incredible way to get to know people everywhere? Do you have a favorite photo? here's one of mine. Well, I took so many pictures it was crazy, and yep...at first kids thought I was nuts, even funnier...it was the first time I met Brian, DH's partner and I do think he thought I was insane.

sigh, thats the wrong picture!! lol.
Anyway...

It feels good to just sit a chat with you all today! I should be sewing, oooh reminds me Betty, going to d-mail you in a few...

lol, Debbie, my dh makes his side, whether i'm there or not!! LOL, tell dh to tuck you in too so you stay snuggly warm! Was thinking about you this morning, while driving i was making a mental note to look for a new Angels at Christmas book!! hope there is one.

Went and looked at some photo's, will share my time with Cedrick..I had him at Christmas and he had such a fun time..

When he arrived I was making Mr. & Mrs. Santa outfits for Suzanne, well of course Cedrick asked why he couldn't have one, so back to the drawing board and started to measure him for size..sure was a giggling even after the long ride to my house.

He couldn't figure out what all the victorian santa's were doing on the table...understood after I had him help with the hair!

When I told him we were going to town to see all the murals he said even with his new suit it might be on the chilly side...so in the car we went..

Santa and Mrs. Claus came to visit Christmas Eve, thought Cedrick might like to deliver christmas gifts to the young ones but much too cold outside..Cedrick did get to tell them what he hoped he would get for Christmas!!!

yep, you guessed it, a scoot ride to the islands..

Could post zillions of photo's, family after a lot of laughing and giggling got in the festive mood and welcomed Cedric with open arms...

Judy, it came out in June....Believe I have seen it in Target & Walmart.

LOL, Betty, i do remember Cedrick being with you for Christmas 2008, 2009 for me, I was so excited to have him for my Birthday, so he could be here for Bahamama party...But something happened and the person before me kept him longer, but We still celebrated both, lol...But did you know the people in France were making a recipe book, they d-mailed me to ask if they could use that photo above for the cover!! I said sure, how exciting is that! Same here, pictures of him with everyone and doing every thing!! All that he met were game once they knew of his visit and why...Actually, I have been thinking of printing all the Chef boy r Cedrick photo's and put them in my kitchen...

We've been gabbing so much we've quickly filled this thread so moving us to a new room..
