Goodness Jaye. So sorry to hear about Kel's Cousins house burning down! I have heard that before. I am glad I don't use them! Sure hope he is going after Glade for reimbursement? Praying no one was hurt?

Please, please Sue. From what I checked online, there were claims that these accusations were hoax!!! But, why then there are still fires linked to Glade?

They had discontinued production in 2002, after the big fire in Chicago and then they continued again in 2004.
Apparently, hush money were given out as no lives were lost after a few more fires were related to them.

I am just glad that Kel's cousin and his wife were not at home that weekend. They were camping in their motorhome.
Guess what they're staying in now.. yep.. their motorhome.

It's gonna be an ugly battle LK, cause besides the value of his beautiful home, his wife collected antiques. Plus he want all his insurance money reimbursed.

Those antiques will never be replaced? I bet they are just sick of the loss?

I hope they had full insurance, Jaye!!!

What a terrible thing to happen - did they find out after they returned, or while they were away (and had to cut their trip short?)

Oh LK. Gloria (his wife) went through a lot. She said God has been looking out for both of them. This year, Kel's cousin (his name escape my thoughts for now) survived a stroke.
Then Gloria just went through a masectomy, survivor of stage 4 cancer.
Now the fire. The irony is they hadn't taken out their motor home for a couple of years.. due to her being in an out for treatments.
The weekend they had it out.. the house burnt.
She said, she had been wishing for some 'camping' time, and now she'll be camping for months!!!
Her humor is still with her when she warned us to be careful what we wished for!!
She had 2 dining rooms. One full of antiques, it's just for show!!!

It tasted good also. She had a layer left she iced for us. It was getting to high so she decided to just go with the one really large thick one. This was an order for a birthday cake for a 4/5 yr old---not sure.

Other rather sad news from our household.....my DIL lost the baby. Needless to say we are all devastated! I have never ever seen my son as down as he is now but is still there for his wife. The older he gets, the more like his Dad he is.

Thanks. As long as Michelle is healthy and doing well, then who knows what the future might bring. If not another one, then atleast we have been blessed with 2 beautiful (of course I would think that) girls.

She has another order for next weekend and will start making the floral decorations this weekend. They need to set and dry before putting on the cake then into the freezer they will go until she is ready for them. It is really good seeing her do this again as she seems to be so much more relaxed than she has been lately.

Sending my sympathies Marion. I guess we all know that it is up to the Lord. I'll pray for another time....

JAYE!! I am so sorry about the house! Dave bought a bunch of those and I've slowly gotten rid of them, I think I got them all gone now anyway but I'm going to check the plugins around the house and make sure there's not any sneaking around.

MARION!! So sorry to hear of your loss too!! How sad, but maybe they will try again, when my co-worker lost her's (her husband works at a hospital) and he said they have over 700 stillborn/miscarriages A DAY!!!

Thanks everyone. Yes, they still want more children but knowing her medical history the 2 we have a miracles and to think she got pregnant for a 3rd time is even more. If it is to be--then it will be. In the meantime, I am going to continue spoiling these 2 beyond rotten!! That is a grandma's job and my story and I am sticking to it!

she would run up and down our stairs , even if i told her not too ... i actually had to take her arm and look her in the face and tell her.
i don't think she is a bad kid , just lots of energy and maybe no one really makes her sit down ?
i got the girls doing art , cutting , stamps, stickers. lots of paper. beads, anything i could fine ... it worked.

The mask is in 2 parts - top of face to mouth, and 2nd is jawline to below chin. In between is black makeup and he couldn't get that rubbed off by drinking from a can or glass...... or it would lose the effect lol
