Decided to do a rag quilt for oldest niece Dewi, with flannel backing. So, I don't have to use batting, right?

Two layers of flannel should be nice and warm. Just make sure you use a heavier thread on it.

took kids to a Chuckee Cheese pizza party and got sick as a dog ! i should have known better. but i was so hungry and another mom paid for the pizza.
i didn't want to make her feel uncomftable eating it all by herself.
kids were ok , it was just me

coach called and said we would have two more practice and a tournament. needless to say we will not be going ! LOL

Sue - I would Never go to a Chuckee Cheese...... ewwwwwwww I remember when they came to Winnipeg about 25 years ago, and I thought it was simply a noise factory for kids!! Not great food, either! Good thing kids Are more tolerant, and maybe that's why they can eat the junk food we can't!!

Round Table was the absolute best pizza parlor ever invented, the chain went under in the early 2000 and everyone in the Central Valley of CA cried.

We had a Round Table restaurant in Winnipeg - really looked like Ye Old English type of restaurant with a large hearthstone fireplace and people dressed as serving wenches, etc. I haven't lived in Winnipeg for years, so I haven't been there since 2004

Susan, I'm not fluent in Mandarin. Moreover like any other languages, the more you speak it the less you'd forget :(
It's bad enough I tend to stutter when I speak either Indo or Malay.

ah, but Mandarin is the most spoken language In The World because of the # of Chinese who speak it, right?! :-)
