Sue, I've emptied out my multi vits and will get another bottle this weekend. Still taking molasses, and drinking herbal teas.
Trying to stay away from fats and nitrates. I noticed that if I indulge in bacon.. sausage.. or anything containin nitrates.. I get sluggish.
Taking molasses also has regulate my bm. (is that TMI?)

How long have you been doing this?
Ex and I lived like that for 8 years. 11 months on, 1 month off. Some years, I'd take that trip to meet him. But still for not more than 3 months.
Some Christmases.. B'days.. anniversaries.. celebrated via calls or letters (no internet then)
Then when he started to work in state, I got miserable with him home. Had to readjust my thought process and time to accomodate him and vice versa.
When I thought I knew that man, I really didn't know him at all.

I hope you and Tim will work things out for your marriage's sake, and especialy sanity.

Sue - you may be a Mac user, but I'll bet you had to be able to use/view Windows programs, so it's really much the same thing - program compatibility! lol
Well, I opened a new label file and copy/pasted all of 75 of her label files, and tomorrow am I go back and re-create the other 150............ siiiiiiiiiigh

This is something I'm doing for a friend (not an agency) - she has a catering business, and her files were put on a "new-to-her" system with different programs. Anyway, I'll go tomorrow and get some more labels. done for her.

I have been doing this for 21 yrs alone thing. I raised my oldest alone. Then i have the twins
been married 9 yrs... and he has worked all that time away. Even when he was home for the one year he worked in ohio. so it was the same. He came home late, ate dinner , watched tv then bed. same thing 7 days a week.
with the issue's we are having with our marriage. When he is home , its still the feeling of being alone ! there is just no connection in anyway shape or form.
I use to blame myself ..... but @#$%%$$ that . Its his problem not mine.
i will try and be more upbeat and not boggle down the thread with my problems. i know there is worse problems then what i have.
its just nice to vent once in awhile.

100 percent and more agreeing with Barb. I'm not going to run away each time you vent Sue. That's what we are here for, the good, and especially the bad.
I'd rather you come here, tell us what's going through your mind, have a good release.. and then return to the twins feeling good about yourself.

Same for everyone here. The Lord doesn't guarantee us perfect days, but there are sure are a lot of storms and good friends and family make sure you won't be alone in those storms. Plus, they'll be praying along with you.

Had a scary night. Woke up @ 4 to chills and sweats. Felt very weak. At first I thought it was just a fever breaking through. But something whispered for me to look for the meter. Checked my blood sugar, and it was down to 66.
You can say the cane had never been moved faster! Practically power limped to the pantry and grab those Chips Ahoy cookies! Oh boy, I couldn't gulp down 5 cookies fast enough. Then had 2 pieces of bread and I started to feel better...

Will be doing some cutting today. I think I procastinate sewing because I hate to cut the fabrics I bought :D

LK, I think I know what went wrong.
When I gave myself a shot at 5 yesterday afternoon, the site swelled up instantly. At around 10 pm when I checked my sugar the reading was 340. I didn't eat much for supper and I couldn't fathom why the spike. So I thought it might be the insulin kinda dispersed 'upwards' and hence the swelling?
Gave myself a fast reacting shot, Humalog @ 60 cc, which normally will bring it down to a manageable point.
But since I'm taking molasses daily, I may have given myself too much!

Norm does all his own shots too Jaye. If I had to, I would give them to him but he prefers this. Says he doesn't want to bother me!! Can you imagine helping my dearest of all being a bother??? Not in my world!!!! Besides, he is on the road traveling again so needs to keep his insulin with him and I'm sure as heck not there with him then! He has been doing well. Did exceedingly well while we were on vacation and then started to go back to his bad ways when we got home. He was the first one to tell me he felt sluggish and you know what my first comment was!! "What have you been eating you shouldn't and what haven't you eaten that you should????" I'm just very grateful that he pays attention to his body when it tells him what is going on......

Me, it got to be @ 130 at least. Try telling that to the doctors!
Kel's perfectly fine when his readings are around clinical approved #s.
Barb, I now need to start asking Kel for help when he's home. Since I'm on 3 shots a day, sometimes 5 if I'm using Lantus, the two sites are 'overused'. My thighs look like a junkie's.
I will have to ask Kel to give them under my armpits or on my belly (my boobs get in the way).

OT here... you know pork is forbidden to the Muslims and Jews? Got a sister when pregnant, had diabetes. She's forced to use insulin. I didn't have the heart to tell her that all insulin is pork product.

Can anyone tell me why my sewing machine will only sew in one speed? It started doing it a few days ago, and I am so mad, as it is fairly new! I can't find anything in the brochure about adjusting the speed???

There's something stuck somewhere that only a sewing expert can check. Might have to recalibrate it too,.
I'm sure you tried turning it off and on?

Many times, I have unplugged, turned off, cleaned it... I am waiting on Brother to reply to my email. We'll see what happens.

LK, that happened to my 1st Viking. The repair tech said it's my electrical source. I tried using others, and it's still the same. Slow.. won't go any faster.
Till it stopped completely! The dealer repaired that and it happened again.. The warranty was still fresh, so I had a replacement.
Unfortunately same with the second new machine. But with the second machine the warranty has already expired.
Thank God, the dealer 'worked' out a creative way for me to get a higher model for almost nothing. No problems with this yet.. touch wood.
I found out online that the model I had then had issues and Viking stopped manufacturing it.

I have never had a problem with it before. I am using it at the same place, same plug. It just started doing it!

I found the problem. I unplugged it from the extension cord, and plugged it directly in a wall socket, and it works fine.

Ahh.. it wasn't getting enough juice!

Hello Ladies,
I am back home after spending 8 days with my mom. She is fine. She had a lot of stressed building up and it finally exploded!!!! We painted the lattice that Calvin put up back in July. Loaded a 7 yd dumpster with yard trimmings and other junk sitting around. Then I started in on my craftroom. I miss it so bad. So I will be bringing things home to work on then when done with that project take back to mom's bring something else. So first thing I am making will be soy candles for Christmas. Going to use those tins you sent me, Jaye. Then want to start working on quilt.

Sure miss my flower gardens. Everything is drying up :( so I need to spend some time getting beds ready for winter.

I started bowling Tuesday night. Did ok, didn't bother my hand at all. So I will go to Auburn every Tuesday, then back home Wednesday afternoons. Will get some yard work done that way.

Crissy so sorry to hear about your friend. My mom had a stillborn baby girl. She would have been one year older than me. Her name was Linda. What had happened was my mom fell on an icy street and some how it had cause the cord to wrap around her neck. I have always said the human body is a total mystery............

Oh how could I forget what my darling little puppy did!!!!!!

LOL she was very quit so I decided to check on her. Went thru gate to garden area, turned around and hollered at my mom...."MOTHER!!!!!" she comes to the door "You left water on in the garden" "OH sh%*!! she said" I said " After you turn it off come to the garden" She walked thru the gate "Oh my!! and she grabs her mouth and starts laughing. Well that got me to laughing. Harlee had dug a mud hole about 5 feet long, 2 feet wide and about 10 inches deep, lol. When we started laughing Harlee thought we were laughing at her. So she starts running like a mad dog all around the garden area and thru the mud puddle. Splashed mud all over mom, then ran and jumped up on me. OMG!!!! we got to laughing so hard mom had "tears running down her legs", lol. So she took off for the house. Needless to say I had to give that muddy dog a bath. Had to change the water twice before I got all the mud off. And while I was draining water for second wash Harlee decides to shake and splatter muddy water all over the bathroom ugh! Harlee had a great time there, nice big yard, huge water bowls ( lol fish ponds) and all kinds of rocks to chew on.
