Today is my wife's dad's 88th birthday. We all went out for a late breakfast at a Greek restaurant and it was very good. Brought home DQ Blizzards for later.
Too tired to cook....had leftover gazpacho, & ham & eggs.....

I made a pasta casserole for dinner today.
made a chicken sandwich.. my neighbor called me over.. she came home from the fall festival with two garbage cans full of pickles.. super sour too.. guess that will be dessert
black bean and sweet potato hash, boneless garlic parmesan chicken strips, multi grain chicken nachos, with home made guacamole, salsa and greek yogurt

Let's see-last night a chicken casserole and apple crumble were brought for my son's family. Tonight, a meat loaf, fresh green beans, salad, and brownies for dessert. Yumm mm!!! Wonder what tomorrow will bring. They have a great circle of friends that love to share.
last night it was wet and dmap, so DH made crilled cheese and clam chowder. Yum!
Wish someone was cooking for me tonight....I'm almost too tired to eat.....
This crappy weather made me hunger for some soup. I made vegetable beef & barley soup with some yeast rolls. Made this was for dessert.........
Triple Layer Chocolate Pie
Prep: 15 min - Ready in : 4 hr 15 min
2 cups cold milk
2 pkg. (4-serving size each) JELL-O Chocolate Flavor Instant Pudding & Pie Filling
1 prepared chocolate flavor crumb crust 9 inch (I used a reg. graham cracker crust)
1 tub (8 oz.) COOL WHIP Whipped Topping , thawed, divided
Pour cold milk into large bowl. Add pudding mixes. Beat with wire whisk 1 minute until blended. (Mixture will be thick.)
Spoon 1-1/2 cups of the pudding onto bottom of crust. Gently stir 1/2 of the whipped topping into remaining pudding.
Spread over pudding in crust. Top with remaining whipped topping. Refrigerate 3 hours or until set.
Makes 8 servings

I made a zucchini slaw yesterday and we will have it very soon. Grated green & yellow summer squash, onions, green pepper, salt & pepper, garlic powder, ranch and raspberry vinaigrette salad dressing. This is going along with hotdogs baked in biscuits with cheese which I just put in the oven.
Yesterday we took my dad to his mobile home to look through it before we finish getting it ready to put on the market. We went out for breakfast on the way and then went to Red Robin for supper. Yum. ☺

Baked Chicken Thighs and rice... forgot to get veggies!
No Red Robins around here.....took my Mom to a small local place this noon.....had some very yummy corn chowder & chicken salad.
