Today, I am thankful for...#7

I am thankful that 9/11 is over without incident, I am also thankful that most of the rememberance shows will be over as well, it was just as devastaing to watch it again after ten years...all that hopeless packed "again" into one day, and all people can still ask is "Why?"

With you, Nadine. Did pretty much the same thing yesterday. Potted up a few daylilies, watered, and did laundry. Sofa spud before, in between, and for rest of day. :-) Thankful it was not too hot.

Don't ya all just love our pets? :-)

Today I am thankful for cellular broadband. Our phone & DSL went down yesterday (plus AT&T 3G coverage) so we went dark! Verizon says the phone will be repaired Thurs afternoon. I visited a few places today and came home with a USB cellular gizmo & a pre-paid month of service. So I am back on line and able to work. (Since I telecommute from home). Whew!

Thankful for successful surgery on DH, he is fine, but will have to spend a couple days in hospital. He isn't going to miss his football game either since they have a TV in his room.

Great news, Samigal!

Great news Samigirl!

I love this time of year too... and it'll get even better in a month or so. Cool days and beautiful fall folliage...

Today I am thankful for the perfectly ripe and delicious banana I had for breakfast. How do they manage to keep the prices so low for such delicate and short lived fruit?

I am thankful for: Restraint, I sell at a twice yearly consignment sale, and although my kids have plenty clothes and there will be another sale in the spring I find myself in the clothing rack buying things I will probably be returning to the sale the next year. I went in without a shopping receptical, and bought just a couple or toys, and I am NOT going back for the 60% off day...just returning that last day to pick up whatever items of mine didn't sell :O)
as of today I have made $40 and I have not even been ther...So Much Better and sitting in the heat of a yard sale...LOL
