She's about to...63... Summer is here and it is stil HOT!!!!

FLOYD, VA(Zone 6a)

I hear ya Joyce, but after 75 years of dealing with me and my Dad she is ready for something easy. :0)

(Linda Kay) Amarill, TX(Zone 7a)

Happ, sorry about the bugs. Sounds like some kind of aphid maybe?

Hey Faye, sure you did not have too much damage from the storm?

Henderson, NC(Zone 7b)

happ lol you got that right, and Angels are not easy and and take a lot of work. LOL even that doesn't make them do right.
Nita, tell Mom I agree!
Love & Hugs

Henderson, NC(Zone 7b)

Thank God, no storm damage here.

Kansas City (Joyce), MO(Zone 5a)

It is a cucumber beetle I finally remembered the name of the bug that is eating the brugs blooms.

My Mom use to tell me nothing good came easy.....and as a kid I would roll my eyes and off I would go, mumbling under my breath...rofl.

Sue, sure wish I had your brother down here. Love the new places he is building for you!

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

Susie, me too.. lucky girl..

Faye, will be cutting your hibiscus back to ship it, just plant it in a pot and treat it like a brug..

I been picking worms off all mine, I am so sick of this heat , no rain and this summer.. come on fall!
Poor you, Linda, I can't imagine your heat down there..
Joyce, I have those things ( bugs) I get them squish them and send them to the fish pond..
all the succulents are doing weird things, this one has "threads" now and they are red..

more of the basement garden as it takes shape, a few come in each night, as it is the same outside as it is inside, I don't like bringing them in when it is 100 outside and 73 inside, I found it makes their leaves drop ..
this ginger has improved since I brough it in..

most of the EE's have dissappeard outside, I am hoping they will show back up when it cools down a bit..

Debra, sounds like your Sister is healing nicely! She will be back to doing more active things before she knows it!

Henderson, NC(Zone 7b)

Debra I'm so glad your Sis is improving and I pray she will continue to have a speedy recovery. Now quote:
Faye, your hibiscus is in this mess somewhere.. Ouch! I couldn't find her/him but looking forward to giving it a lot of love.(hope I don't love it to death) I really want tropical Hibiscus thanks to jax. (loved her's to death)
Debra, if the lavender bloom has seeds, please put me on her seed list.
A plant house! Wow, now we all will have something else to add to our wish list. Thanks for sharing from beginning. I'll keep watching your progress.
Susie your Angel is beautiful, makes me so green. The single bloom is SERENDIPITY. K. Harris Pink is all pink. I don't think I will have healthy cuttings of either this Fall.
Love & Hugs y'all

Kansas City (Joyce), MO(Zone 5a)

Oh Suzie, you are going to be in 7th heaven, I love my garden room, and it is a great escape from life in the winter time, the same as the garden in the summer. I don't have water in mine yet, but have a rain barrel that I fill from the dehumidifier, I have to run the dehumidifer nonstop in the winter time because the plants turn my room into a rain forest! You might have the same problem with yours. Come to think of it those brugs sure cost alot...rofl. I am sure your brother is thankful to have you to take care of your Dad and enjoys helping you in return, that's what families should do.

Susie thanks for letting us see what Yard Sale Yellow looks like. Mites and heat were so bad that the few blooms I had were nothing to really get excited about. LOL could be becasuse those girls never did listen to me and keep their clothes on. Blooms on naked limbs , not a pretty sight.

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

your deck reminds me of Bonnie's Deck up in Northern part of Kansas, ( where it is cooler) it looks awsome Susie, I am showing it to hubby, but he said we can't make the weather the same here as it is up there.. *sigh*

You Rock, Susie.. ( is it okay to say I am jealous?)

(susie) Hastings, MI(Zone 5a)

Please do not be Jealous I Have problem's with Many other things like MILDEW cannot stay ahead of it on the deck between rain & Heat .
this just happens to be a good year weeds also .
can anyone tell me the type of vine this is the flowers only bloom in the evening but they are only about an inch wide 2 inches long .
it was way to hot to work outside today , so spent most the day getting caught up inside :) .

Just got daddy to bed & he is sleeping better for doc gave me a pill for him to take the pain out of his arm so he can sleep & we have an apt for next friday with a specialist for his arm .
well you all have a great evening .

(Debra) Derby, KS(Zone 6a)

well faye, if you feel like baby sitting one thru winter, i will send you a bottom root with leaves, and it will go crazy outside come spring.. i keep mine inside every winter with the white moon vine and stictocardia and baby woodrose. if they have light and a pole, they will climb and bloom..
