Jaye & LK, I have 4 brugs all different sizes that are doing really good, I've been giving them Flora Nova. Suppose to be one of the best fertilizers for plants (very pricey) they are growing like weeds.

Oh man poor Cookie, my heart aches for her. Bless you Cookie you are in my T&P's sistah

I get so choked up when I read of all these sad things that all of us/you ladies go through.

Will certainly add Janice and Stacey to my prayers. Wonder who took care of Jonathan, or maybe her DH had to take a leave?
I hope that the blood clots are taken care of. So young to go through that.

You're right Cindy. Each time I read of illness or tragedy that had fallen on one of our sistahs..I get a lump in my throat and feel so helpless.
You want to offer a helping hand, but too far away. All we can do is pray.

Been babysitting the GDs the past 2 1/2 days so haven't been on until very late, if at all.

I am so sorry to hear about Cookie's SIL and Mom, Tinky and Janice. Prayers being added to all the above for our family of sistahs and their families. Why oh why, couldn't we all love closer so we could physical be of assistance to each other. On another note, my neighbor across the street died this week and a friend in Gainesville who I had been in various organizations with for years. Make you really realize how precious life is and can be.

So sorry to hear alll the sad news. Prayers being said for all. Life surely is precious and we don't realize that until we start losing our loves ones and neighbors. Hard to make any plans these days.

I didn't know Stacey was on the sewing thread, guess I will have to lurk around there from time to time.

I'm not sure, Jaye, that my message actually got to him. I went on his page, but as I'm not a "friend", I just clicked Message and typed in my message. Now, when I pull up my messages, it shows his name at the top of the page, with my name above the message and the box to click "Reply" like he sent to me..... I'm confused. When I clicked "forward" and tried to forward to him, it wouldn't "send" so I had to click Cancel.
I didn't include our ph# in the message, as I don't want to advertise it to everyone, and besides I'm not sure he would be very nice in a phone call...... Last time I talked to him he was swearing on a Collect Call to me.... I want to take it easy.....

Sorry to hear of Cookies Mom. I knew about her SIL but not her mom. Life just got in the way the last few weeks. i feel selfish ?

Parents are here visiting with their dog. She is mean to Lucy :( and snapped at Savannah. Its going to be a long week :(
Dh is gone back to china. :( he will be home in Dec. Then we go to marriage counseling and things ect...

After everything the other night I got hit with phone calls from AFS in MN about families to host and how we still have kids in need of homes.
I again explained the reasons behind why they are not hosting...economy, drought, gas prices, have enough trouble feeding their own kids right now and it is nation wide not just east texas but they don't seem to listen very well.
right now I have 4 girls in east texas and 5 more kids coming the 27th with one being a welcome family and as soon as she is here I will be pounding the keys and phone in hopes of someone to take her all year.

Still applying and looking for a full time job with not much luck

Keeping everyone in my thoughts and prayers everyday even if I don't pop in
