LOL LK too funny I should have copied the rest of the pics of the bike. The front had skull head and swords.
Boy did that real estate company mess up. The pic of the house we liked was NOT actually the house at the addy. Knew it was too good to be true and not only that they have NOT contacted us about going to look at it.
So we have decided to put off looking for a house for another year. Instead......................we are going to get us a new Harley maybe even two. Yup I am going to take lessons and ride my own. Found a pretty Sportster 883 for under $5k soooooooooooooooooooooo we will see ^_^

Oh - almost forgot.... when Bob & I went fishing on Sunday, you'll never guess what we saw strolling on the shoreline of the ole fishing pond - a wedding couple!! They came to have pictures taken.... Here's a few of our pictures

I thought for those of you that know me I had better stop by quickly
come the 18th I will not be here any longer
it's that time of year again to renew and with the work situation I have to make cuts and sadly this will be one
but then I have not been on as much as before with changes that have come around
so I want to take this time to say thank you to all of you great ladies for letting me join in here and be a part of the group.
thank you all for the year you were at BJ's and kidnapped me for the night I truly enjoyed meeting you in person.
I have a number of you on facebook so you can always reach me there

Finished most of my early morning chores and sad to notice that my gingers have no buds this year. Must be the heat.. and they're tropical!! Ooops.. could be the longer winter too?
Normally they'd be blooming in mid August.
I don't expect some DLs and irises to rebloom either. My Blue Sky vine's growth is stunted, and I lost some clematis.
Now I'll wait and see how the camellias are doing. Lost 2 to the heat :(

Look what my little sister in Singapore baked last night!!
Mini pineapple tarts!! She used late Mum's molds and crimped the pastry to make the petals pop! I can guarantee they're soo good that you can't stop at 10!!

Coffee to go along with them and you all have a fantastic day!

Morning Jaye! Those look so good! Sorry about your plants! I have lost many here too! I am down to maybe 6 brugs, no growth from them, let a lone a bud!

All I have left for the named ones are NOL, Serendipity, Painted Lady, good old CG, Enchanted Double White, SuperSpot, Autumn Treasure and Cassie's Curls.
Serendipity, NOL, PL and CG returned late this year. EDW, SS and CC were never transferred to the ground. These here haven't Y'd.. yet :((

Some cuttings survived but they became noid when they got mixed in one bucket!! Hoping at least there's a NOL or Adeline among them. I think a Serendipity cutting survived as the blooms are sooo like that namesake, plus it gives me its' second flush.
Will take a pic when they bloom again.

All my triples are gone!!! :((
It's so disheartening. If the weather didn't get to them, the grasshoppers will!

Susan, some tried in Singapore, but they don't flourish.
Brugmansias are originally from S. America. Different tropical region I guess. The high humidity in Singapore is only good for orchids!

I guess it is a different tropical! I don't know from tropical climates - just that I "push" the zones by planting Daturas (successfully) and Brugmansias (jury is still out on whether it's successful or not - no buds yet....)

apparently so! I had 3 cuttings sent to me by Bernadette in NS, Canada, and only 2 survived. One is in a pot on my deck, and one is planted in my shady/protected flower garden (facing south), but so far no buds...

talked to cookie last nite. her sis-in-law died last week. her mom is in the hospital, the cancer has spread, and she is not doing well.
she asks for prayers

May God's grace be with her as she goes through these trials. Know that my prayers are with you and your family Cookie...

Also, it was posted in the sewing thread that Fairy1004 has just gotten out of the hospital. She had blood clots in the lungs and leg.
Janice has been diagnosed with breast cancer and will be undergoing radiation soon.
