I love the lilies, Pixie. By your recommendation I have purchased Black Beauty for fall planting. Haven't run across nympth because of throwing out catalogs, I'm sure, so that may wait a bit.

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

The only way I can have controle over my garden budget is to toss catalogues,no guilt there.

Nice Marilyn. See you Thursday.

Gorgeous pics, Celeste. I especially like this one: http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/fp.php?pid=8741344 I love the monster geraniums. Must be 'Rosanne'. I have it, and it just blooms and blooms. I love 'Starburst' and 'San Souci' and 'Tom Pounce' and 'Elusive'. You have so many nice ones. I have some nice ones, but not many. Next year I want a lot more. Your shot of 'Dallas Star' is great, and so is the one of 'Exotic Candy' with the balloon flowers in the background.

Your 'Black Beauty' is a beauty, Jo. So sad they are ending for the season.

Marilyn, your 'Schezzerade' is stunning.

Yes, Jo, I'm looking forward to Thurs. My niece is actually here right now, taking the things she wants from her Grandma's estate.....she will be driving her Mom to Pittsford, I'll be driving my brother....Karen, love your Mom's DL!

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

very pretty Karen

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Celeste even your Chaos bed is gorgeous! Loving all the blooms you have.

Karen, what is the peach flower in your container?

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Karen ! The combination of peach verbina and lime trailing plant is teriffic.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Thanks everyone!

Karen your container is lovely! The white lily reminds me of 'Casa Blanca' and the bloom time is right. The double, could it be 'Miss Lucy'? It is supposed to be white with w hint of pink but mostly the ones i've seen are only white.

My DD Tarsha has always loved my lilies and when she lived in Florida I had to do a "Whats Blooming Today @ Mom's in Maine" series of folders with lily pictures for her. She kept saying she was going to get a lily tattoo so she would always have a piece of something I loved and grew with her. Got an email last night with this picture.....
She did it!!

If a DD is going to have a tatoo, isn't it great that this is what she chose? How wonderful to have such a tender, loving daughter!

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

LOL Rosemary! I have 3 DD's...all have tattoo's! Not something I would of ever suspected they would do, but they did.

East Bridgewater, MA

I'm not usually a big fan of tattoos, but that one is special !!!

Lexington, MA(Zone 6a)

Well, my two DD's are 17 yo. Great kids, but the idea they'd try to remember us at home is very remote at this time. I think the tatoo thing starts about when they leave home, doesn't it? We had one aupair who started while living with us and going on trips. She called her dad in Germany to excitedly tell him the bad news right after tongue piercing when she had gone to new york, but she could barely talk.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Me either BA, never got one, hubby doesn't have one either so we were shocked when they did it. Of course not one of them told us until after they did it. LOL
I DO like it though.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Oh, tongue piercing? I've met alot of people who have had that done...all I can say is OUCH!!!

Lexington, MA(Zone 6a)

She's keeping you with her, Celeste.
