Yes, and it's a lovely gesture. This is what she wrote in the email with the picture attached.:
"Told you I wanted to get a lily for you :) "
Garden Photos # 16
wow celeste your yard looks fantastic!
That is a pretty tattoo....my DIL has several, one clearly seen when she has a bathing suit on.....I keep my lips sealed!
not a fan of tattoo's
Jen, that peach flower is verbena. Don't know the variety name.
Celeste, I don't know what the white double lily could be. It came in a bag of mixed doubles with no names. You could be right about the white NOID being Casa Blanca. My geranium was supposedly Jolly Bee, but I've been calling it Rosanne, as it was never fragrant, as JB is supposed to be, and I don't know if it's supposed to bloom all summer like Rosanne does.
Your DD's tattoo is pretty. Don't know if I'd ever get one. Don't like the fact that they are permanent and seem to fade or blur quite a bit as one ages. Would NEVER get my tongue pierced!!!!!!!!!!!! My SIL has many tattoos. I don't mind a few tasteful ones, but that is just too much. Her latest one is for her late boyfriend (don't get me started on that one, I'm just disgusted about the whole thing!!!!!!!). She's always thinking of what she wants to get for her next tattoo.

Better to think of what's next for the garden.
love the tattoo Celeste!!
Colors are real intense on that tattoo, pretty.
When I was younger I wanted a tree frog that was hanging on my shoulder just because I thought it would look cute....but then thought about the pain and what it would look like when I am 80 and changed my mind.
To further change my mind I saw a documentary on tattoos and how the Somalians really put thought into the tattoos they get and it's a ritual for them and the pain they have to go thru is CRAZY because they don't use modern tools they hammer the ink into the skin with seashells, then they go wash in the ocean OUCH!!!! Some tattoo artists won't even give you a tattoo unless the tattoo has a deep meaning for that person, like Betty Boop on a 18 year old won't be done.
Great pictures everyone!
Celeste love the color of this Hibiscus http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/fp.php?pid=8741405
Karen your White Lilly looks a lot like my Expression. Possibly the same one, I tried that peachy Verbena and it spent out and hasn't rebloomed.. Yours looks really pretty.
maybe start some inside Meredith
Meredith, your WILSON SPIDER shot is great. That's one of my favorites. I also like that silene.
Karen

Very pretty, Pixie!
Isn't it nice everyone has all that space ☺ I wonder if those gardens are for a certain event or they are maintained all the time.
The space is gynormus. Supposed to have worlds record of hanging planters.
It give me a nosebleed to look at it.
nice celeste - like the clem shot!
That silene is very unusual
Jo those pics are AMAZING, I'll have to get right to work on that project
Very cool Clem shot Celeste!
Love the dark dl's
My Mary's Baby finished yesterday....I love that DL! That bright pink DL is stunning....
I Love ''Mountains Bow Down'. After seeing a pic of it posted here a couple weeks ago, I ordered one off eBay. I just got it yesterday. I can't wait to see it bloom next year!
