LK - these would be tickets for free through AirMiles (I collect airmiles through different types of purchases) and not through the airline itself, so I cannot print them out online. AirMiles sends the ticket to me through the mail. They say it takes 2 weeks through regular mail so I didn't know when I could book a flight so I would have the tickets on time.

btw - I can "buy" more than just flights with airmiles for free - I've bought sleeping bags, a toaster, and a coffee maker with them, as well as a slow cooker, and of course - flights!
I'm considering a 2-night stay at the Fairmont Hot Springs - I would get it for free with my airmiles, and would only need to pay for lunch on the 2nd day. And of course the drive there - 4 hours, only!

I just can't take shopping any more. Went to Costco and to regular market for milk, etc. and by the time we came home and unloaded the truck I was so tired I could barely move around. I remember when I could keep going all day............well of course that was my younger days. While I'm at Costco they usually are doing demos on different foods so I get to have a small lunch while shopping. Got to remember not to go too early before the demo people show up.

They used hot tar on the parking lot at the small mall behind me and boy does that stuff smell. No wonder everyone stayed inside today.

Susan, sounds like the MyPoints I use. I can shop anywhere through that site, and get points, and then use those points for shopping. I get about $100.00 a year doing that!

I have 2,598 points (get one for every $20 I spend, and sometimes there are specials at a grocery store - "spend $100, get 150 points"). Once you earn 1,000 points in a year and shop at 5 different companies, they give you "gold status" and that means you get 40% off your flights, etc etc. I've done that a couple of times, then used the airmiles to buy stuff, so I could have had 5,000+ if I hadn't used them.

Good Morning Ladies,

A couple of weeks ago I was with a friend up in the mountains. We took a walk down to the river and came upon these butterflies. I had no idea they were there until we had disturbed them and they were flying all around. I took some pics of them flying but it is hard to see them. So when we came back I snuck up on them and got this pic. Sure wished I could have a bunch of butterflies like that around my house :(

Marion...So good to see you posting around. So sorry to hear about your storm. Glad that limb didn't cause too much havoc!

We had a mini tornado here last Monday, Lost a very large limb from our tree out front. Luckly, the only thing lost from it was DH grandmother's platter. When the guys cut the limb the heavy butte of it scraped the house and the platter dropped from the wall.
Plus the Green house was picked up and dropped about 3 inches over! yikes, lost a panel and the door was completely ripped of the hinges...lots of clean up from that! Well, Just have to be thankful our damage was so minimal

Big Armwraps for You and Mom, It's so good that you can talk to the caregiver's. Glad to hear she is remaining stable...prayers continue.

Sue...Waiving Hi. Yikes, sure glad DD got clean. You don't need that added stress. Is she taking her meds?? Glad to hear you got her some counsuling. Almost sounds as though she is overwhelmed with things? I know that's not a good thing but it might be part of the reason she is acting out...I am glad you stuck to your guns on the issue. Now, hate to see the younger ones are taking on to a few of her ways.. Hate to say it but it's almost a given. I guess the best thing to do is have a nice lengthy talk with them, or maybe i should say reminder that their sis has an illness, and the way she speaks to you is not good and how it hurts you if they talk to you in the same manner...I hope that makes sense.

Ok so now graduation and party is over!! Yippeee. MIL back at home, company gone, for now, lol. So this one tired lady actually can slow down and even take a nap. first in ages I did yesterday 2 wonderful hours...Wow, didn't realize how much was going on till it was all done...The only thing left is row swap, lol, and that is it. Not able to do any for a little while, (swaps, that is)

Sistah Jaye, so sweet you uncle comes to see you! Bummer Kel has to work for the Holiday, tell him I said Hello and I will have a hot dog for him, lol. We will be having a backyard BBQ too. then in the evening, will go to see the fireworks the Golf club.

Well my Grand nephew and Family were here last week. We had such a wonderful visit, although bittersweet as they were on the way to their new home in Arizona! LOL, he just adored Skittles. Thank goodness Granti was in the room when he opened the cage. Was a no-no since they brought 2 cats with them...But I caught Skittles just in time and put her back in her cage...lol the little guy was trying just hard to "accidentally" open the cage with his shoulder.
Later in the evening I took Birdie out so Donavan could meet her! So cute.

Well there's so much going on I need to catch up later, but look at what I did to myself last night!

It used to look like this, and will be back to this tomorrow afternoon, it's splotchy and didn't take my roots very good at all. It was supposed to be a honey colored brown, I text my hairdresser at 10 last night with a pic, we were both ROFLOL!!

Crissy, I like the color. But you can always go back to the dark color, and put highlights on it. That would be nice too.

Good morning all, still half asleep here. A new month and wondering where the other 6 have gone. Time just slips away so fast. Temps in the 80's, stays cool under the aluminum awning. Plumeria trees are getting new leaves on them so guess I didn't kill any..........yet. DH has a doctor appointment so guess that will take up another day.

We had almost 3" of rain yesterday afternoon complete with thunder, lightning and winds. Thank goodness all our utility lines are underground as 23,000 in Tally were with out power. Not complaining as it will save on the water bill.

LK, have a really great trip! Pegi send me some of the cooler stuff please.
