Did the rain stop yet...did here finally feeling the warmth of the Sun.

So that Sunday, as I told you went to the Broken Oar, it a marina and Biker establishment!
We enjoyed walking around looking at all the bikes.

We were joined by our friend Paul and his buddy Eddie...

Liz, lost in thought...or listening to the music.

Enjoying a visit in the gazeebo...

That young girl in the center is Julia's best friend from childhood!! They just found each other so it was pretty cool that they gathered as well.

We had a nice fire...

And Liz commenced to making us Beautiful!! LOL, each of us girls, got a haircut and feathers added!!

Since we couldn't go anywhere on Monday...We sat and had coffee.
Kenny and I were discussing the small jungle on the side. Liz the sweetheart she is was making breakfast!
I did not starve while they were here, lol.

Anyway, Next thing i knew, we instead of any further discussion set out to prune up the trees and thin out the jungle!!
LOL, Kenny still in his jammies began to work, my kind a man, lolol.
ROFLOL, Really he just wanted to check out my weed wrench.

And got out the pole pruners!!
Still in jammies...

if he wasn't on the ground he was in a tree or on a ladder and sometimes both!!

After "we" figured out how to fit the birdhouse in place, we continued on...

Like my Birdhouse?? it's from Sistah Jaye and Bruddah Kel, From B-house swap!
It's been in different places of my yard, and this year I wanted it in a tree!

That was our Monday, very busy, but lots of fun and even Liz clean up the day lily bed...

Tuesday, As I told previously we hired Alissa to take us shopping...

We went to a variety of stores, Michael's joAnnes, the auto store...
and a Thrift shop!!
Well, Liz made a great find! A tall glass jar filled to the rim of jewelery and beads and "junk", her favorite!
So when we got home she and Breenie had a ball sorting through it all!!

Kenny proceeded to go to work with Steve and the guys on Tuesday...

Liz and I kept ourselves busy with our Gift for Betty!!

She taught me how to spray paint!! lol.

By the end of the day...All the parts and pieces were painted...

After work Brian came over for a quick visit. He and Brittany were leaving for Michigan.

Cannot believe you two spent an entire day crafting in order to make me my pot people...absolutely love them..you two are unbelievable!!

lol, I have one of him and Liz as well...He was always protesting my taking pictures...
Notice his smile? ROFLOL, at first he was making noise, I said oh be quiet and smile.

My heart just sank...and a few days later he passed on..one just never knows!! Wipe the tears Judy..sending you an arm wrap!

Oh Betty, we had so much fun...
And Kenny was home on Wednesday and we put him to work some more, lol...
He did the drilling and was so supportive as we went along...

Also, he created the wired hands for me!

Thank you Betty, You know, i haven't lost it yet...just trying to be here for Steve. I think he has been just lost...Dazed with all that he has learned of it happening.

And so for all who have not Seen Betty's Pot people:

Liz made the tall one, and I made the small one! They are purple because we (L & I) love purple!!

Oh and forgot to say, they were embellished with some of the trinkets from Liz's treasure find!!

Betty loves purple as well...they are just too adorable ( so are the pot people)!! Lol

The work and use of imagination was unbelievable..not a detailed missed..earrings/necklace..gardening tools

LOL, your pretty adorable Betty!! We both just love that you like them!!

LOL, I was so completely amazed at how patient Liz is with such detail...Me, LOL, thought I was doing kindergarten work...Took only 2 times to get the small hands done! LOL, Kenny said you would love them, so cheered me up..Big cheesy smile, and you do!

Just love Kenny, he's always up for teaching me the ways of the world. Lol.

Well that was Wednesday in the evening, we had another nice fire!!
Also that night...Kenny jumped in on a Poker game...They ended up staying up until 5 AM!!

Great pics and great stories. So glad you all had such a wonderful time, and that Brian was able to join you. Sometimes I guess we really "don't" want to hear the 'rest of the story', as with Brian. But if we don't know, it always haunts us. It was that way with my friend.

Hi - got some terrific news from a friend - they're lending us their 21 ft Motorhome for next weekend! So, it won't be too cold in the am when we wake up! And, no problem using it if it rains lol
These are some church friends of ours. They've lent it to their grandson & his wife & 2 girls. They'll bring it back on Thursday afternoon, Bob will get familiar with it, and we take off for camping on the Friday morning!! whooooo hoo! I've never camped in a motorhome before! Bob's driven a bus up to 40ft long, so this will be a cinch for him.

You are one lucky lady Susan..that is exciting news! A day doesn't go by that we encounter earthly angels!
