Welcome Synda, yep, the night shift are quite the group, usually party time..I'm normally in sleep zone by the time they get chatting..am sure you!ll enjoy their bantering!

Quince, just have to run out and take a photo, sure to make you laugh!
The suckers, if you leave them do they turn out to trees??

Laura, sure hope the computer repairman can fix the problem with ought costing you an arm ad a leg, am looking forward to seeing photo's of you community garden plot!

LindaKay, be firm today at the doctors! Ouch about removal of stitches..

Debbie and Dianne listened to frankie's garden, got to tell you rain seems to be in forecast for forever..not good!

Yes, my party won their vote and will be leDing the cotry..wS always a Liberal, you know how it goes, family is one party for generations but this year felt just had to try and get majority rule government, tired of the $$$$ being spent it seems on elections being called..also, when you look at the economy situation the past few years and see how well we've done, just can't be taking the chance while we're keeping our heads above water..

Debbie, am hoping you get to stay home and relax today, seems you've been on the run for months..when does Carrie come home?

Mothers day Sunday, hope the kids surprise you with passport lol

Best be moving, when you are up half the night takes forever to get going..still have to tidy up the craft room as the girls paint today and I've 5 tables covered with sewing and other projects..

Gab when I get to work

OK found a few seconds to show you my Quince..only 2 years old, doubt if it's 2' - read the tag, says it will grow 3' tall and about 5' wide which would be perfect co cover the area below the signage...

Which I see I must repaint when weather is better...that's what you get when you go and take photo's, you see what must be done!

Well it is blooming..will have to take a photo when it is colorful..boohoo want one like yours! Both of you are so lucky to have such a glorious flowering tree...I'll catch up when my snowball tree/lilacs and flowering crabs are in bloom???? lol

Shirley, you are on my mind this morning...do hope you have family (yours) with you today and that you've rested well...will take ions for you to get your energy back...

Then when you do, it might help to go back to regular hours and be with friends..know it helped me..I just told them after a week being off that I'd come back even though I could have stayed off for 3 months, that I'd rather be busy but if I had a horrific day they'd have to understand my calling in and saying I just couldn't cope..they agreed and as it happened I might have taken a few days off but not more than that..

Cope we must..hardest part was seeing that the birds still sing, people still go on with their lives and you just slip into the system all the while your heart is breaking...hugs my friends..know we are here should you need us!

It's really a large bush not a tree. Mine is ornamental it does produce a few fruit but not really eatable Quince. There is a Quince Tree that produces large amounts of Quince like an Apple Tree. It is a bit different than what I have. Here is the back side of the Potting Shed with the shade garden created in the shade from the Quince. I am constantly digging suckers out of this bed I can see it will be an on going war. I did know that when I started this project but once I get a vision in my head I don't let little things like reality get in my way. LOL
